Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 124: Chapter 124: Kristina Kingston Is Upset

Monica Usher put down her phone and closed her computer. She calmly pondered for a moment.

Anton Miller’s current high popularity might not be a bad thing. As long as something happens between him and Mia Lane, the media will definitely keep a close eye on them. Mrs. Kingston’s status already has high visibility.

When two high-profile figures collide, wouldn’t that surely lead to explosive news?

And Justin Kingston is such a proud person; how could he possibly be willing to wear the green hat?

So, Monica Usher’s mood changed today. With Anton Miller’s divine assistance, she felt hopeful about the future!

Meanwhile, Justin Kingston handled his work as if nothing had happened, which even Finn Morgan found strange.

After work, Justin Kingston went straight home.

Mia Lane didn’t bring up Anton Miller entering the entertainment industry again.

But she could sense that Justin Kingston minded it, and she didn’t want to persuade him further, to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings.

Let time take care of it all.

Early the next morning.

After breakfast, Aunt Zhou placed the children’s suitcases in the car, filled with their personal belongings for a two-day stay at their grandmother’s house.

”You should go too.” Justin Kingston looked at Mia Lane. ”Maybe the treatment plan will suddenly come to mind.”

She wasn’t prepared at all!

But she couldn’t refuse; seeing the children off was the right thing to do. As a mother, Mia Lane was concerned.

After all, Justin Kingston’s mother was very emotionally unstable.

”Mommy, come see us off!”

”Yes, Mommy, hurry up!”

Mia Lane didn’t think much and got into the car.

In the Lamborghini, Justin Kingston remembered his mother’s words, forbidding him to bring Mia Lane.

But going against his mother’s wishes today was because he really wanted to heal his mother’s wounds.

”Gigi, Dolly, when you get to grandma’s, be observant.” Mia Lane held the children’s hands and whispered, ”Be sweet with your words. When grandma is in a good mood, cling to her a bit. When she’s not, be obedient and don’t cause trouble.”

When the Lamborghini stopped in front of the Clearwater Bay villa, Kristina Kingston and Mary stood up from the sofa.

Mary was very pleased, ”Mr. Kingston is still quite considerate of you. He promised, and he did it.” It’s rare for Madam to have someone she likes.

As the words fell, they saw the children jumping out of the car.

Kristina Kingston’s lips curled into a smile.

The next second, Mia Lane also got out of the car.

Kristina Kingston’s expression changed slightly, her smile fading.

Mary turned her eye and saw a sharp glint in Madam’s eyes. ”Madam...” She quickly took her arm, ”Don’t be angry, she might just be here to see off Master Gigi and Miss Dolly, and will leave shortly.”

”I don’t want to see her!” Kristina Kingston was furious. ”Justin treats my words as the wind in his ears!”

In the yard, Justin Kingston and Mia Lane, holding the two children’s hands, walked toward the living room.

At the door, the butler respectfully saluted them, ”Good day, Mr. Kingston, Master Gigi, Miss Dolly.” When his gaze fell on Mia Lane, he just nodded politely, not daring to say good day to Mrs. Kingston.

Because Clearwater Bay does not recognize her as Mrs. Kingston.

Mia Lane wasn’t embarrassed at all. She walked into the living room with composure.

”Mom.” Justin Kingston’s voice was gentle. ”I brought the children to spend the weekend with you.” Servants carried in the luggage.

”Grandma!”

Gigi and Dolly ran to her and hugged her directly!

”Grandma, we came to see you!”

”Grandma! Dolly missed you!”

The heart of Kristina Kingston, as hard as stone, began to melt with this call of ”Grandma.”

She lowered her head to look at the children and squeezed their shoulders; a few days apart, they had grown taller.

But her attention remained focused on Mia Lane.

Kristina Kingston gently unclasped the children’s hands, ”Let Aunt Mary take you to play first.”

Stepping towards Mia Lane, Kristina Kingston said coldly, ”Come, let’s talk in the yard.” Then she turned her gaze to the butler, ”No need to prepare tea.” Her tone was equally cold.

Mia Lane could feel Kristina Kingston’s disdain shown on her face. She smiled inside, but her expression remained calm.
