Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 138: Chapter 138: The Vinegar Jar Has Tipped Over

Justin Kingston didn’t waste any words and turned to leave.

In the vast pharmaceutical research lab, the mentor and pupil stood in silence in their sterile gear. What was he up to?

Ian Shelby glanced at her and sighed softly, ”He truly loves you.”

Cora Yates shook her head, ”I didn’t see that at all.” She turned and immersed herself in her research, mumbling quietly, ”It feels like he’d be a hindrance here. What reason does he have to stay?”

”I wouldn’t say that. After all, CEO Kingston knows his mother’s attitude towards you, and he hopes his mother will recover.” Ian thought, ”Maybe he’s staying to protect you?”

The girl didn’t want to think about it and concentrated on the utensils in her hands.

Downstairs.

Kristina Kingston stood up in surprise when Mary conveyed the message, ”Really? Are you sure you didn’t mishear? Is that what he said?”

”Absolutely.” Mary was beaming with joy, ”I wasn’t the only one who heard it; Dr. Yates and Dr. Shelby did too!”

”... ” Kristina Kingston was momentarily stunned. Why did her son suddenly decide to stay?

”Madam.” Mary quickly stepped forward to support her arm, ”Mr. Kingston cares about you! He has invited two doctors to treat you and comes back every night to check the situation. Such deep love!”

Yes, Kristina Kingston was touched inside.

Ever since she planned to match her son with Monica Usher, their relationship had been quite delicate. Unexpectedly, he voluntarily offered to stay.

”Then why are you still standing there? Go make arrangements for him!” Kristina Kingston said happily, ”Ask him which room he wants; let him choose! Consider what needs to be prepared and talk to the butler. After all, ten days isn’t short; we can’t let him live inconveniently.”

”Okay, I’ll go handle it right away!”

Upstairs outside a certain door, Justin Kingston stood still in front of a room with a labeled sign — Cora Yates’s bedroom.

Beside it was Ian Shelby’s bedroom.

So, he pointed to Ian Shelby’s bedroom and calmly told Mary, ”I want to stay in this room.”

Mary kindly reminded, ”Mr. Kingston, that’s Dr. Shelby’s room; you can stay next to him.”

”I said I want this room.” Justin Kingston said coolly, ”Don’t you understand?” The pressure was irresistible.

”Okay, okay.” Mary was puzzled but could only comply, ”I’ll find someone to change it for you right away.”

Before long, the butler knocked and entered the pharmaceutical research room.

He approached Ian Shelby apologetically and said, ”Dr. Shelby, CEO Kingston wants to stay in your room, so... I’ll have to move your stuff next door. I’m really sorry, I’ll ensure everything is arranged exactly as it was.”

Ian Shelby was indifferent, only pausing for a second, ”Sure, no problem, let him do whatever he wants. It’s his house after all.”

”I’ll start moving now.” The butler said with a smile.

Cora Yates found it immature! Like a three-year-old?

Downstairs.

Kristina Kingston said to Mary, ”As long as Mia Lane doesn’t come, this will be the perfect ten days. I haven’t spent quality time with my son in ages, it’s a great chance to strengthen the bond with Justin.”

Upstairs, the servants were clearing a room for Justin Kingston.

Gigi and Dolly peered through a small gap in their bedroom door, observing the scene outside.

”Oh dear, this dad is so childish!”

”He must be upset and jealous.”

Closing the door softly, Gigi said to Dolly, ”This just shows Dad loves Mom.”

”When do you think Mom will fall in love with Dad?”

”Dad is so charming, he can win over millions of women. Mom might already be smitten with him. Anyway, those two will certainly be happy in the future! A perfect match!”

”Mom’s status as a renowned pharmacist can perfectly match Dad! Once she heals grandma, grandma will definitely adore her!”

Kingston Group, the towering buildings reached the clouds.

In the CEO’s office, Finn Morgan was shocked listening to the phone call—

”What? You’ll be working from Clearwater Bay for the next ten days?” Finn Morgan quickly checked the schedule, ”There are important meetings these days, you need to go out.”

”Push them all.”

Finn Morgan’s heart skipped a beat, ”CEO Kingston, has something happened?”

Outside, Monica Usher paused with documents in hand, because Finn Morgan’s words had just entered her ear, making her heartbeat skip a moment.
