Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 143: Chapter 143: Anton Miller Is Quite Amusing Too

After all, it was his own mother, and Justin Kingston wanted a good outcome, so he no longer dwelled on the issue.

He asked earnestly, ”What about after ten days? My mom said these ten days are just to treat her right hand.”

”After ten days, once I’ve completely gained her trust, I can stay here on my own, and Ian Shelby can attend to his own matters.” She had already thought it through.

Hearing this, Justin Kingston felt relieved, ”Alright, you guys get busy first, I’ll get to work.”

He turned around and went back to his desk.

Two doctors were busy not far away, and the three of them being in the same space felt a bit strange.

The weather was nice today.

Since the start of shooting for ”Purple Gold Bay Love,” there had been several scenes every day.

Anton Miller’s bewitching smile, wild yet delicate, perfectly fit the male lead in the novel.

Entering the entertainment industry as a complete newcomer, he would proactively buy drinks for the production staff every day, even the smallest assistants were included, making him very popular on the set, with a humble and courteous image.

Sean Dalton, having been in the industry for a long time, had long forgotten the humble demeanor she once had when she first started. She even needed an assistant to unscrew bottle caps for her beverages, accustomed to having everything done for her, but no one dared to expose her, as everyone relied on her to make money.

”Scene three, all actors get ready!”

The assistant quickly removed the thin blanket covering Sean Dalton’s legs and helped her stand up from the lounge chair under the parasol.

She walked towards the camera, which was ready, with her high heels clicking and her posture erect.

Anton Miller, with one hand in his pocket, also began to stride towards Sean Dalton, stopping in front of her, giving her a light appraisal.

Sean Dalton’s aura was calm, she lifted her haughty chin and asked, ”Have you memorized your lines? I always get it in one take, and I don’t want to waste time.”

”There’s a kissing scene in this one.” There was a hint of amusement in his eyes.

The woman’s brow furrowed slightly, ”Yes, there is a kissing scene, but you are not allowed to use your tongue, don’t try to take advantage of me.”

But he took a step back, fanning his hand in front of his nose, frowning, ”Could you please brush your teeth first? Your breath is too strong, I’ve tolerated it for two scenes already.”

”...” Sean Dalton felt a rush in her chest, seeing the mischievous intent in his eyes.

At this moment, the director asked, ”Can the two leads start now?”

”Hold on a bit, director!” Anton Miller said with a smile to the director, then looked back at the woman in front of him, and asked in a low voice, ”Not going to brush? If not, I’ll tell the director that I can’t do the scene, I really can’t bring myself to do it.”

”You...!” The little princess was furious.

One hour later—

The crew wrapped up, and today’s filming was successfully completed.

Anton Miller and Sean Dalton each returned to the hotel, where they were staying in adjacent rooms.

”He pisses me off!” Sean Dalton stormed into the presidential suite, angrily threw her bag onto the bed, kicked off her high heels, and walked barefoot to the balcony, ”Who does he think he is? A newbie who got lucky landing the male lead, thinking he can be on equal footing with me? Why?!”

The assistant quickly poured a cup of chrysanthemum tea, ”Miss Dalton, calm down.” Just as she was about to hand it to her, she caught sight of the man on the balcony next door, looking in their direction.

Anton Miller!

He was calmly leaning on the railing.

”Why do you think?” Anton Miller’s soft voice reached her ears.

Sean Dalton was startled, turning her gaze quickly, their eyes met, and she was taken aback!

He looked at her, smiling as he clarified, ”Just because heaven rewarded me with a meal ticket, why? Does it irritate you?”

”...” Sean Dalton pursed her lips, fuming as she turned back inside the room!

Her assistant hadn’t even entered when she forcefully pulled the curtains shut!

The assistant awkwardly nodded at Anton Miller, then quickly chased inside.

Anton Miller withdrew his gaze, slipping away the smile from his face.

He looked towards the bustling city view in the distance, reflecting on how he had been in the news for many days now, yet Justin Kingston hadn’t confronted him?

Could entering the entertainment industry not provoke his anger?

Just then, his phone rang, he glanced at the caller ID, and answered, ”Hello.”
