Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 118: Chapter 118: He Says He Wants to Enter Showbiz

Clearwater Bay, the vintage villa glistens under the sunshine.

The garden is elegant, and a gentle breeze stirs the petals.

Mary, with two braids, brewed a pot of fine Longjing tea and came out, seeing Kristina Kingston sitting on the sofa sewing something by hand. She gently set down the tea set, ”Madam, what are you doing?”

The middle-aged woman with half a mask on her face spoke in a rare gentle voice, ”I’m making something for Gigi and Dolly, what do you think?”

Mary was shocked, stunned for several seconds! Every stitch and thread was sewn by the lady herself.

Having taken care of Mrs. Kingston for many years, it was the first time she saw her treating others so gently.

So, Mary felt gratified, truly happy inside.

”As a grandmother, I wanted to give them a special gift.” Kristina Kingston lowered her head while sewing, a smile playing on her lips, ”I thought about it for a long time before deciding on this. These fabrics were obtained from Serenity Temple last time, sewing little sachets to wear for safety.”

Mary’s smile was brilliant, ”Young Master Gigi and Miss Dolly will surely like it.”

”I hope so.” Kristina Kingston was filled with anticipation for tomorrow’s meeting.

Mary poured her a cup of tea, her voice sweet, ”Madam, tomorrow I’ll make your favorite osmanthus cake for them. We still have a lot of osmanthus harvested last year.”

”Sure.” She looked up, ”Thank you for your hard work.”

”It’s no trouble.” Mary was very happy, ”It’s what I should do.”

”I like those two children,” Kristina Kingston stated directly, ”but it doesn’t mean I accept Mia Lane. She isn’t good enough for Justin Kingston.”

Mary knew that only President Usher was the ideal daughter-in-law in the lady’s heart.

Emerald Cove.

A call came in on Mia Lane’s phone.

She answered, and the person on the other side said, ”Boss, we found it, the number has been sent to your phone.”

”Okay, thank you.”

After the call ended, Mia Lane dialed a number sent through WeChat, and in no time, the other side answered.

”Anton Miller, it’s Mia Lane.” She sat in the rattan chair on the terrace.

”What’s up?”

It was his voice, and Mia asked, ”Did your club close down? What club?”

”How did you know?” The man realized immediately after asking, he laughed, ”I’ve wanted to close that club for a long time.”

”Anton...” She felt apologetic, ”It’s because of me, right? Were you forced to close it?”

”No worries, no matter who it’s for, I think it’s a good thing!” Anton Miller’s tone was relaxed, with a completely unconcerned attitude, ”I plan to venture into the entertainment industry. What do you think of my face? Can I become a star?”

She thought he was joking, ”I’m sorry.”

”No need to apologize, really.” He seemed in a good mood, ”I told you, I’ve been wanting to close it for a while, that’s the truth.”

But Justin Kingston said that was his dream.

Three o’clock in the afternoon.

A motorhome drove out of Enlighten Kindergarten, with Gigi and Dolly sitting in the back seats, exquisite fruit platters and snacks laid out on the coffee table.

”Daddy is so great, he manages such a big company! And manages it so well! He’s my role model!”

Dolly also said, ”When I grow up, I want to marry a man like Daddy! So tall! So handsome! So rich!”

”What’s Daddy doing? Will we disturb him by suddenly showing up at the company?”

”Probably not, Daddy will definitely be very happy!”

The children ate fruits and chatted.

The motorhome headed towards the Kingston Group, the children planned to give Justin Kingston a surprise visit, so what would they encounter?
