Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 131: Chapter 128: Suspecting His Origins

After a short break, Wu returned to the backrest.

Although Pyrite Town didn’t have many surveillance cameras, there were plenty of human ”cameras.” Kids running errands, passing elders, and even shopkeepers could be the eyes and ears of some power.

Before the mayor truly gives up the chase, it’s best that no one sees Wu’s figure.

And as if prearranged, he would spend this difficult period at the Baimu family until he could leave smoothly.

Honestly speaking, Baimu had originally planned to place him in the Underground City of the Sand Group, where he had two vacant houses. But on second thought, any house with sudden signs of life after being long unoccupied would undoubtedly attract attention.

The area around the house he stayed in during his captain days was also quite busy with human activity, making it difficult to hide.

Might as well stay with him.

Just pause the cleaning work of those maids.

Fortunately, the luxury homes of cadres were spaced quite far apart, and the nearest to his house was Liu Ge’s mansion. From his observations over the past two days, this brother rarely returned home.

Before long.

The vehicle drove into the cadre mansion area. Seeing no one around, Shanren let the two of them down.

”I’ll leave him and the Deinos to you.”

”Okay.”

Baimu nodded.

Wu curiously looked at his dwelling place for the next few days, ”The environment’s not bad, huh? I thought Pyrite Town was all sand, didn’t expect there to be plants too.”

”These plants are not easy to maintain, really gives my Aggron a headache.” He saw Shanren off, silently opening three Pokeballs to release Aggron and the other Pokémon.

Normally, there were dedicated personnel for plant maintenance, but Aggron didn’t want others interfering, wanting to muddle through itself.

Baimu let it be.

It’s a good thing when Pokémon show interest, otherwise being in the Pokeball would mean just sleeping, and outside of it would only be battles.

”Hey... such a strong Aggron, you’ve raised it well.” Wu raised his hand to try and stroke Aggron’s face. The latter glanced at Baimu, and seeing him nod slightly, it obediently lowered its head.

Seeing this, Wu couldn’t help but praise again: ”Great coordination too, nice. Hmm, Mawile is also good, Chansey as well—”

”Hmm?”

His voice abruptly stopped. He twisted his body, looking around Baimu.

The latter found it a bit strange, ”What’s wrong?”

”Where’s your dragon?” Wu asked very seriously.

Baimu pulled at the corners of his mouth, ”I currently don’t have any Dragon-type Pokémon...”

”Not Dragon-type Pokémon, but Dragon-type Pokémon! As a descendant of a Dragon Tamer, how can you not breed Dragon-type Pokémon!” Wu raised his voice, ”Didn’t your elders ever tell you about the beauty of Dragon-type Pokémon—uh.”

He suddenly realized that Baimu’s elders had been absent since he could remember.

”Sorry, but in any case! As a descendant of a Dragon Tamer, you should raise Dragon-type Pokémon, aiming to become one of the Four Heavenly Kings or even the Champion!”

Wu’s state was as if he were on adrenaline.

Baimu only felt that the person in front of him suddenly seemed much sillier, and he responded perfunctorily, ”It’s not a finalized matter... Let’s go inside first, staying outside isn’t too good.”

”Mm!”

Wu nodded vigorously, shouting as he walked: ”Don’t worry, during the time I disturb you, I’ll thoroughly let you know the charm of Dragon-type Pokémon!”

”Yes, yes...”

The Dragon-type Pokémon he referred to not only included species classified as such like Kingdra, Salamence, Dragonite, Goodra, etc.

But also included Gyarados, Charizard, Aerodactyl, those Pokémon with dragon-like appearances.

Lance’s team exemplified what it meant to collect all dragons by appearance, turning from Dragon-type Champion to Flying-type Champion by force. Even though later generations had more Dragon-type Pokémon, he couldn’t shake off the Flying Champion’s label.

There were many idle rooms.

Fitting Wu in wasn’t a problem.

And after settling himself, he brought out a bunch of Pokeballs, ”I might need to calm these little guys, can I let them out indoors? I’ll try to avoid causing damage.”

”Let’s go to the basement. It’s a bit more secluded and can withstand the impact better there.”

Baimu led him to the basement.

The open interior space made Wu quite satisfied, ”Let’s take it one at a time.”

With that said.

He threw out a Pokeball.

Bang!

A flash of white light.

A small, four-legged dinosaur with bluish skin, covered in fluffy black fur that obscured its eyes, and a tuft of sharp hair on its head, landed on the ground.

”Mnoh?”

It nodded its head, due to very poor vision it couldn’t see its surroundings, relying on smell for basic judgment, and discerning certain things by charging and biting.

Sensing it was in a new environment, Deino became a bit nervous, started trotting around, running and shouting.

”Mnoh! Mnoh!”

Wu quickly rushed forward, effortlessly stopping Deino, and as it extended its mouth, he proactively held out his wrist.

Baimu widened his eyes, just about to stop this dangerous act, but saw that he had already fitted a gold bracelet on his wrist. Deino bit into the bracelet without causing Wu any expression of pain.

”There, there, it’s safe here, no one will hurt you, relax, there, there,”

Wu gently scratched Deino’s chin, the strange noise coming from its throat quickly quieted down, apparently catching a familiar scent from him.

The scent of Dragon Land.

Pokémon are very sensitive to the breath of home soil, and no matter how excited a Pokémon is, the scent of its homeland’s soil would quickly calm it down.

Under Wu’s handling, Deino soon lay down on the ground and began to doze off.

”Impressive.”

Baimu watched in amazement as he released Deino one after another, soothing them in the same manner.

But when it came to the sixth one, Wu suddenly halted his action.

”You do it!”

He handed over the bracelet and Pokeball, ”As a descendant of a Dragon Tamer, you need to master the ability to calm Dragon-type Pokémon!”

”But I’m really not necessarily a Dragon Tamer, and my scent is unfamiliar to them...”

”I said you are, so you are! Take it!” Wu forcibly stuffed the items into Baimu’s hands.

Seeing this, Baimu thought this might be the opportunity that the clues led him to, but pretending to be a Dragon Tamer might be fun for a moment, being revealed in the future would be very painful.

Was he really a descendant of a Dragon Tamer?

Clearly he had made up this title himself, yet at this moment Baimu began to hesitate.

Especially since Wu’s earnest demeanor made him question his own lineage.

He had almost no memory of his parents, and even when asking neighbors, most stated they were not familiar with his parents... perhaps in a few days it would be necessary to inquire thoroughly.

Under Wu’s coercion, Baimu put on the bracelet and threw out the Pokeball.

Bang!

The Pokeball opened, and a short-legged, black-haired little dinosaur landed on the ground.

”Mnoh!”

”What a lively little guy!” Baimu heard its loud cry and knew this Deino was extraordinary.
