Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 119: Chapter 116: Terry’s Call for Help

The sudden turn of events startled Houndoom and Sableye.

They stared blankly at the trainer who had fallen to the ground, as well as the enemy Pokémon and enemies who also plunged down, crashing onto Weezing, their minds suddenly in utter chaos.

What’s going on?

Where on earth did the enemy come from?

”Awooo!” ”Yami!”

Panic made the two Pokémon instinctively choose to support their trainer, but doing so while facing off against the enemy gave their opponent an opportunity.

In an instant.

The landed Mawile ignored the Sableye’s giant jaw trying to free itself while swelling gradually, clasped its tiny fist enveloped in a brown-red light, and delivered a fierce blow to the side of Houndoom from above!

Enhanced Fist!

Bang!

”Awooowow—”

Houndoom awoke from its stupor, screamed in agony, and flew backward, rolling several times on the ground before it couldn’t get up.

It couldn’t help but smile as it urged a raging flame to surge from between the lips and teeth of the giant jaw, attacking the Sableye trying to grow again.

”Dilee—!!”

Sableye howled in pain.

Mawile turned a deaf ear, heading straight for Houndoom.

Baimu once told it the characteristic of canine Pokémon — [Copper Head, Iron Bones, Tofu Waist], just like hitting a snake at seven inches, severely striking their waist joints usually incapacitates ordinary canine Pokémon.

Such as critical hits and brutal strikes.

Seeing it now, Baimu was indeed right.

Meanwhile.

Aggron’s massive black tail, as thick as a person could hug, shattered the air like a long whip under a silver halo, slamming hard into Sableye!

Boom!

The metallic energy exploded like a thunderclap; Sableye couldn’t withstand such a fierce attack and was directly smashed into a pile of rocks nearby, motionless.

”Roar—!!”

Aggron roared to the sky, the frustration caused by Taunt was instantly swept away.

Seeing all three Pokémon dealt with, Jillard, who was pinned down on one knee by Baimu, finally caught his breath and looked incredulous.

He couldn’t have imagined being toppled by such a young lad.

How would it have been if he had looked up?

If only he had known...

”Big Explosion!”

Jillard howled hysterically, and Weezing beside him suddenly lit up with a dazzling white light, terrifying energy stirring uncontrollably within, ready to explode any moment.

But before Weezing’s Big Explosion could succeed, a blue light suddenly enveloped it, making it shoot off uncontrollably like a grenade into the distance!

On the other side were many Evil Dog Team Members rushing over, drawn by the explosion sounds and attempting to assist.

Boom—!!

A small mushroom cloud rose slowly, and the Evil Dog Team Members and their Pokémon screamed as they were blasted in all directions, leaving Jillard in utter despair as he rolled his eyes and fainted.

Having fallen from such a height, he was already heavily injured; now, with his blood boiling, he couldn’t hold on any longer.

Baimu took the Pokeballs from his body, recalling Houndoom and the other Pokémon one by one. Under the dark night sky, in the bright firelight, he let out a sigh of relief.

”Finally got him.”

He twisted his sweat-soaked arm, grinned at the Chansey beside him, ”You really can take a hit now.”

”Lucky~”

The Chansey, transformed into a Super Hard Egg by the Evolutionary Wondrous Stone, chirped joyfully and ran off to help Mawile and Aggron recover their strength.

Falling from such a height, even with Weezing and Chansey as cushions, the recoil force was slightly uncomfortable for him.

Fortunately, his physical condition was sound, and after resting for a while, he was fine.

In contrast, Jillard was much more miserable.

Fractures were inevitable, though it was unclear how many bones were broken. Baimu pried open his eyes and mouth and lifted his clothes to confirm there were no internal bleeding points, nodding in satisfaction.

A living officer is always more useful than a dead one; different from the confrontation with Jian at the Charity Tournament now.

”Thanks for your hard work.”

Baimu glanced at the three Pokémon surrounding him, handing Jillard over to be carried by Aggron, ready to find Cheng Hong and others whose whereabouts were unknown.

The Evil Dog Team came with over two hundred people. Although the Big Explosion earlier had taken down quite a few, it also caused even more commotion.

There’s no telling if the next officer is already on their way; he must act quickly—

BOOM—!!

An explosion far more terrifying than before rose up from the horizon, and the massive mushroom cloud and towering flames lit up the night, leaving Baimu with a look of astonishment.

He remembered that area stored many of the large machines confiscated. Had someone blown those up?

No, that’s not right.

This must be—

Baimu furrowed his brows. The strong and pungent smell of gunpowder and the persistent glow of the flames, along with the increasingly noisy uproar around him, made him realize that this explosion must have been caused by some kind of explosives.

The purpose of the Evil Dog Team was actually to destroy the confiscated items, directly smashing the rice bowl.

A bunch of crazy guys indeed.

He quickly ran toward a guard post, followed by Jillard’s Aggron behind him, like a loyal guardian.

Unexpectedly.

He had thought he would encounter a few more Evil Dog Team Members on the way and be forced into a few more fights, but he reached the first guard post smoothly.

And it just so happened that it was where he was looking for Cheng Hong and others.

As he approached, Cheng Hong shrank his head back in shock.

A full two or three seconds later, he recognized through Aggron that it was their leader, and quickly ran out, shouting as he ran.

”Baimu! Don’t attack! It’s me!”

”You brat—”

Baimu glanced around, ”Why are you yelling? Are you afraid the enemies won’t come?”

”Ah, sorry, sorry.” Cheng Hong quickly apologized, then saw Jillard being carried by Aggron, ”Who is this?”

”An officer of the Evil Dog Team, not sure what they’re called. Although they only have half a breath left, in the current situation, not only can they be used as a scapegoat, but also to claim credit.”

He patted Cheng Hong’s shoulder, ”Is everyone okay?”

”We’re fine. Terry is super strong. Those Evil Dog Team Members were no match for her and were defeated one by one.” Cheng Hong said excitedly.

At that moment.

Baimu saw a dozen or so Evil Dog Team Members tied up in the guard post, including two Squad Leaders.

”Wow.”

He slightly raised his eyebrows and then looked at the others in the guard post, besides his team members, there were also some unfamiliar Quicksand Team Members, ”Where’s Terry?”

”Terry went to support Lady Ayana. We learned from these captives that the Evil Dog Team came with three officers this time. Terry was worried that Lady Ayana would be besieged by three... no, two officers.”

Cheng Hong laughed naively.

”I see.”

Baimu nodded and said, ”In that case... you guys come with me now. I have a mission for you.”

”...Yes!”

Cheng Hong and others responded in unison, but the other Quicksand Team Members came forward, ”Captain Baimu, Captain Terry ordered us to stay at the guard post, so we can’t go with you.”

The other Quicksand Team Members nodded in agreement.

”...Alright.” Seeing their determination, Baimu didn’t insist.

If possible, he actually wanted to save these few too, going along with the flow.

He didn’t expect them to choose to stay... Can’t just say he’s planning to sneak away, right? Oh well, then.

To avoid complications, Baimu said no more.

First, get Cheng Hong and the others out and then decide whether to support Ayana or rescue everyone, abandon the mine, and escape together.

Thinking this.

A sudden thick malice came from behind.

Baimu’s heart tightened as he turned swiftly, suddenly finding Terry, covered in blood, standing at the door, gasping for breath.

Beside her was a peculiar-looking Pokémon resembling a personified tree trunk, having lost its roots and grown legs, with each hand holding three green spheres—

Sudowoodo.

”Baimu, why did you come back?” Terry seemed very puzzled, her tall body supported by the adjacent Sudowoodo.

Through the dim firelight, Baimu could see the scars on Sudowoodo, likely from a fierce battle.

”But you came at the right time. I need you to go check on Lady Ayana for me, Baimu.”

She said in a heavy tone.
