Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 120: Chapter 117: Achieving Great Merit

Terry’s request was somewhat unexpected.

”Where is Lady Ayana?” Baimu hurriedly moved aside to let the female driver find a place to rest.

The outpost was already small, and after cramming in a dozen enemies, it felt even more crowded.

”She’s in the command post — Baimu, I know what you’re planning. Help me check on Lady Ayana first, then continue your retreat at your leisure.”

Terry’s words revealed Baimu’s intention of sneaking away.

Everyone present turned their gaze towards him, with various emotions in their eyes.

Upon hearing this, not only did Baimu not panic, but he also frowned, ”What’s the situation in the mine now? Has something happened?”

”Hehehe, smart.”

Terry managed a difficult smile, letting the few Quicksand Team Members use the emergency medical kit to treat her, saying, ”The explosives that Lord Liu Ge planted in the mechanical warehouse in advance exploded, and Jiama’s confidant, the top executive of the Evil Dog Team, was blasted into the sky, wiping out one-third of their people. The remaining Evil Dog Team members have gone crazy!”

She twitched her lips as if something had hit her funny bone, but then she began to cough violently again.

Baimu was shocked.

”Pre-planted explosives...”

Too ruthless!

While preparing for the enemy’s arrival wasn’t surprising, directly blowing up the entire mechanical warehouse wasn’t something that wouldn’t harm their own? How much loss would igniting a fire cause? How many people would die?

Thinking and daring to do are two different things.

Such a ruthless Liu Ge, was he really what Baimu imagined, or do they just act this way when necessary?

His mind was a bit chaotic, and Terry’s chatter reached his ears again.

”The command post is the most chaotic. I can’t make it over now. I’m only worried whether Lady Ayana can handle two enemies at once. Have you improved your skills? Go see—”

Before finishing the sentence.

Because with Baimu’s hand signal, the Aggron at the door picked up Jillard and threw him to the ground.

”One executive is here, another is flying in the sky, and at the mine, there’s just one executive left... With Ayana’s strength, she should be able to take him down. You’re the most familiar with her, what do you think?”

He looked at Terry, who was staring intently at Jillard, seemingly too shocked, gasping continuously as if suffocating.

The other Quicksand Team Members were stiff-faced, and the person pouring disinfectant water shook their hand, spilling almost half onto the ground.

”Still alive?”

”Alive.”

”Was it you?”

”Just lucky.”

”...Flop was right, you’re such a monster.”

”No useless talk, did you just get a chance to join the main force outside? How much defense is left in the mine? What about the enemy?”

”The main force should all be near the command post. Before the Evil Dog Team’s attack, except for those responsible for vigilance and reconnaissance, they mostly stayed there... As for the enemy, they are relatively scattered, causing destruction everywhere.”

”Got it.”

Baimu said to Cheng Hong and the others, ”I’ll go out for a look; you guys stay a while longer, safeguarding my spoils.”

”Yes!”

Cheng Hong and the others acknowledged.

——

Under normal circumstances, Baimu definitely wouldn’t want to meet the executive.

After all, a life-and-death battle doesn’t guarantee victory. If he can’t win, what’s the point in fighting — why not just bully others with overwhelming power instead of walking a high-altitude tightrope?

But for now, one executive captured, another flown into the sky, just one left probably fighting Ayana, after such a long time, the result might have already been decided.

Baimu felt he could check the situation.

If Ayana defeated that executive, they could join forces to try a counterattack on the remaining Evil Dog Team Members, scoring a major victory.

If Ayana was taken down by that executive, the executive wouldn’t be in great shape either, allowing Baimu to possibly pick up the pieces to avenge Ayana or save her, still scoring a big win.

As long as he wasn’t surrounded by a dozen or twenty Evil Dog Team Members, there wouldn’t be a major issue.

”Thanks a lot, Try Again.”

Baimu rode on Aggron’s back, who had just acquired electromagnetic levitation from Mawile, with Chansey standing not far away, mainly to help open shields.

”Roar!”

Aggron let out a deep roar and stepped forward, then accelerated to charge, soon flying forward close to the ground like a retracting landing gear fighter jet.

Its speed was extremely fast, utterly not matching its exaggerated body size.

The command post was located in the southwest direction of the mine, a seemingly dilapidated two-story building, but beside it was a signal tower over thirty meters high, making it easily identifiable.

And just as Terry had said, the Evil Dog Team Members mostly spread out without forming a large group, most heading towards the mechanical warehouse, where the blazing fire continued to burn, with the black smoke lingering and unclear about the situation.

Occasionally, couple of Quicksand Team Members were seen laying in the shadows in uncertain life or death, but Baimu was too eager to find Ayana to check on them.

Soon.

The command post was in front.

But beyond Baimu’s expectations, the battle here seemed unfinished.

”Hide? Let’s see how long you can hide!”

In the pitch-black environment, a humanoid silhouette stood in front of fragmented walls, accompanied by a bizarrely large purple scorpion — Drapion.

The silhouette let out a hysterical shout, though the tone carried a hint of weakness.

”Huh?”

Seemingly perceiving an outsider approaching, the silhouette quickly turned around, upon seeing Aggron immediately commanded, ”Missile Needle!”

Boom, boom, boom, boom!

Countless glowing green points flew up to the sky and then rapidly descended, shooting towards Baimu.

”Chansey!”

”Lucky!”

The Chansey in front raised a massive green light shield, completely blocking the Missile Needle, while Aggron lifted its paw.

”Rock Burst!”

Fragments and dust consolidated into sharp Rock Blades, shooting towards the silhouette and Drapion!

Swish, swish, swish——!!

In the night, the sharp sounds of cutting air were exceedingly rapid. Although the surface of the Rock Blades carried some light waves, they also easily caused visual blurring, affecting a Trainer’s judgment.

Much less the enemies’ dire situation, seemingly without other usable Pokémon.

”Slap Down!”

Bang, bang, bang!!

Continuous explosions, originating from Drapion’s dark light-surrounded claws.

But just as all the Rock Blades were shattered, its body suddenly froze, along its Trainer, under a bizarre energy wave, flying to the sky.

The overwhelming Spiritual Power rendered them immobile, and the hidden Ayana finally attacked.

From a rubble-buried ruin surged a stream of dark blue water, soon turning into a consciousness-like whip that struck the silhouette, connecting Drapion, together flung them away!

Boom!

Water burst, and the silhouette let out a muffled groan, inevitably fainting.

Chansey, taking advantage, lifted the strong control.

Drapion’s resistance awareness was too intense; it, not of Psychic Attribute, nearly escaped control if not for Ayana’s timely intervention.

”Lady Ayana.”

Baimu leapt off Aggron’s back, soon spotted Ayana, covered with scars beneath the familiar gigantic Quagsire, seemingly her consciousness a bit vague.

”Can you hear me speaking?”

He waved at Ayana, as Chansey promptly released Healing Fluctuation towards her.

Though Healing Fluctuation couldn’t instantly heal wounds, it managed to ease the initially critical situation — priorly unattainable, but with leveling up and intensified practice, the healing effect was gradually enhancing.
