Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 86: Chapter 84: Sandstorm World

As the Quicksand Storm spun fiercely.

Blinding white lights suddenly exploded around Hitmontop, like a series of small grenades.

Its spinning movements staggered suddenly.

The Invisible Rocks finally took effect; due to Chansey’s inexperience, the individual number was few and the explosion speed slow, only the power was just barely acceptable.

The dispersed sand quickly gathered.

Although it looked somewhat similar to the Sandstorm outside, this mode of Quicksand Hell had a shorter duration and smaller scale.

It couldn’t cover the sky and earth like a Rock-type Sandstorm.

Its height was even limited to a two-meter range.

The advantage was that the cyclone speed was stronger, and the wind force could reach the level of a typhoon in a short period, making it impossible for Trainers to retrieve their Pokémon, and even affecting themselves.

”How come Lairon’s Ground moves, despite its Rock Attribute, are so powerful?”

The big man shielded himself from the sandstorm, feeling somewhat frustrated.

Pokémon battles change moment to moment; he hesitated for only a few seconds and found himself in a passive situation.

Clearly, his overall strength was supposed to be stronger.

”Hitmontop is tangled up in the Quicksand Hell! Lairon’s restriction is very effective! The situation looks grim for the *** contestant over here! Mr. White Bird, what do you think?” The host threw the topic to White Bird.

White Bird’s face darkened, what does it mean to only ask him when there are so many guests in the studio?

Couldn’t they see he’s been silent since just now?

Plucking Mareep’s wool isn’t supposed to be done this way! What’s with this host!

But having taken the money required professional ethics.

”I think there’s no need to worry, although the *** contestant was indeed put in a bind by Contestant Baimu, looking at it practically, he’s still more in control.”

”Huh? What do you mean by this?”

”Just calculate carefully and you’ll understand, Hitmonchan was bitten on its right fist by Mawile but can still use its left fist, whereas Mawile’s powerful jaws are similarly injured yet are unique, and it’s difficult to use them normally afterward; it’s mutually beneficial results for both sides.”

White Bird donned a look of insightful judgment, ”And Hitmonlee has merely entered a sleep state, there’s always the possibility of waking up suddenly, yet Chansey is low on stamina, and laying eggs will only help it hang in there a bit longer; the moment it dares to come on stage it’ll get knocked down. In this exchange, Contestant Baimu suffers a big loss.”

”Besides, at the moment, although Hitmontop was struck by the Invisible Rocks and got entangled in Quicksand Hell, just wait and see, Hitmontop can soon break free from this predicament.”

As the words fell.

As if to validate White Bird’s words, the big man suddenly shouted out, and Hitmontop followed suit, making a move.

”High-speed spin! With the Wind!”

Hitmontop hung upside down towards the ground, spinning rapidly along the sandstorm’s wind direction, enduring the attack of fine sand as sharp as a knife with the wind’s help, the speed becoming faster and faster.

In a blink, even its feet and tail became indistinct, leaving only a blurred afterimage.

In the raging sandstorm, the big man couldn’t hear what order Baimu gave, only saw Lairon raising both claws to stamp the ground heavily, with the faint trend of the ground cracking—

”Quick!”

He shouted loudly, regardless of having to swallow how much sand this time, his entire body became tense.

In the next moment.

Rumble rumble rumble—!!

The solid ground trembled violently and fractured inch by inch, forming a huge pit in an instant; inside, the rotating quicksand and the sandstorm resonated, akin to a trap of earth-shattering proportions!

What a terrifying spectacle!

The host couldn’t help but shout out, ”Lairon’s move combination can be described as nowhere to go in heaven or underground! If Hitmontop had dug underground just now, it would’ve been dangerous—wait a minute! What’s this I’m seeing!?”

Suddenly, the arena resounded with chaotic noise.

The reason lay in the fact that within the collapsing Quicksand Hell, only one silhouette spun and flew out!

Exactly.

It was Hitmontop moving with the wind at high speed to the extreme!

Before the ant-hole-like sandy hell swallowed it, it successfully flew out to evade the danger!

Moreover.

Upon landing, it continued spinning in the arena, with a speed frighteningly fast, breaking those Invisible Rocks hidden in the air into scattered debris with its kicks.

Clearly in a burst seed-like state!

Such a reversal in the battle direction made the audience exclaim in amazement, while the host shouted with fervor, and White Bird, whose expression was tense, secretly took a breath of relief.

The big man eventually did not drop the ball throughout, reaching his highlight moment. Moreover, faced with successive tactical blows twice, secured a lifeline during the deadly third time for Hitmontop.

But witnessing the dodged combo and even the dispersed Invisible Rocks layout, Baimu and Lairon undoubtedly felt extremely regretful.

[Quicksand Hell Above and Below] is still too immature, despite its outstanding control ability, as long as the opponent is trapped inside, the result is almost decided.

Yet, it consumed too much time.

Unworthy of the losses.

However, the tactical failure is indeed disappointing, the enraged Hitmontop cannot be ignored, not to mention it’s already charging aggressively along a giant arc!

Baimu: ”Rock Lock!”

”Gudo!”

Lairon struck the ground heavily with its claws, and enormous rocks burst out of the earth, hurling towards Hitmontop like torrential rain.

But unexpectedly, the rocks shattered instantly upon contact, resembling thin and brittle cookies, drowned by Hitmontop’s frantic pace forward!

Unable to stop it!

”This guy...”

Baimu gasped in pain, having to admit that Hitmontop, shown as the big man’s ace Pokémon in the intelligence report, indeed had its strong aspects.

Even the giant rocks Mawile couldn’t crush so easily; before it, could only slightly hinder its path forward.

Indeed, strong control restrictions were correct.

Unfortunately, it failed.

Moreover, it was too late to use a Pokeball to recall Lairon, and Hitmontop was less than five meters away from Lairon.

Even if successfully recalled, whoever is switched in would face Hitmontop’s frenzied combo, which complicates things; coming out in this situation means taking hits!

Better to gamble a bit.

”Iron Wall!”

He ordered in a deep voice.

The prepared Lairon promptly lowered its head, meeting with its hardest forehead.

If evasion was impossible, then thinking of ways to withstand was all that could be done.

”Triple Kick!”

The big man’s voice came through remotely, Hitmontop took action first, its moves aligning telepathically with the instruction.

Bang bang bang!

Heavy thuds and dazzling light blossomed on Lairon’s head!

The silver light initially resisted, shortly subdued by the brown-red glow, Lairon’s body also uncontrollably rolling out backward.

The four-fold restraint was too terrifying, even Iron Wall couldn’t withstand it.

Plus, Technical Expert’s enhancement of Triple Kick’s power, each hit successfully connecting, made Lairon’s defense futile as expected.

Baimu retreated along, warily eyeing Hitmontop, shouted, ”Hold on!”

”Gudo!”

Lairon struggled to get up, responding to the call.

In a situation of substantial difference in both sides’ combat strengths, being hit by the opponent’s full-powered attack results in dancing on a tightrope.

There’s always the danger of overturning.

Just like Chansey inside the Pokeball, even though Hitmonlee is better at Leg Techniques, while the hand techniques are weaker, Chansey got walloped severely.

Fortunately, its pain tolerance was strong enough, coupled with this month’s physical resistance cultivation, making it somehow sustain.
