Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 57: Chapter 55: Elementary Top Student

Long ago, Lu Tixia killed Zhen Guanxi with three punches, and today, Clefairy knocked out Gloom with two punches...

Not very poetic.

But Baimu felt this was the phrase that best matched his mood.

Clefairy, following the physical attack route... the key move was very effective. Gloom, being a Grass and Poison Attribute Pokémon, should have had the upper hand but couldn’t last even three rounds.

Pity it was pure pixel graphics; otherwise, he would have loved to see the extraordinary expression on the opposing girl’s face.

This Blue Talent trait is really something.

Baimu couldn’t help but be amazed. The Clefairy from Miniskirt’s team had a decidedly high level—no wonder it was said to be a longtime companion, possibly raised from a Cleffa and already evolved once.

Why not evolve Clefairy further, though?

He didn’t believe Miniskirt’s family couldn’t afford a simple Moonstone.

In the scene, the girls witnessing this one-sided battle lost the idea of continuing with a tag-team and sheepishly apologized to the girl who was initially ”whipped by love,” fleeing quickly.

[You defeated the female students who bullied others in the name of special training, and you gained a friend]

Why does it sound like a Gym battle?

Baimu shifted his position, leaning against Chansey to get more comfortable.

After saving a classmate, Miniskirt inevitably faced her punishment—writing a reflection.

They didn’t even call her parents to the school, as if the supposedly present ”respect for teachers” rule in Japan didn’t exist. Truly a prestigious school.

Interestingly, this reflection wasn’t even written by Miniskirt but by her new friend who helped her out.

——Like a sidekick little sister?

Well, not really.

Miniskirt never made her run errands for snacks or drinks, nor did she borrow money from her. They just often chatted, and occasionally fought battles to lighten the dull theoretical classes.

But these peaceful days didn’t last long.

One day in the game.

A group suddenly stormed into the classroom after school, throwing down a battle challenge in front of Miniskirt. The few female students who were beaten a few days before wore smug expressions.

Is this... bringing in backup to settle the score?

Baimu’s gaze drifted and then landed on the leader of the group.

[You accepted a 3v3 challenge from the head of the elementary division and agreed on conditions to replace them as the head upon winning, to which the other party consented]

An elite prodigy?

He scrutinized the girl at the front, unable to be sure.

After all, one was a 2D animation, the other a pixel animation—quite a difference. Yet, if it were indeed an elite prodigy, maybe it could help guess the timeline in the simulator, whether it was before Ash Ketchum started his journey or afterward.

Moreover, this simulated Miniskirt might even compete alongside Ash Ketchum.

Although at the Quartz Conference, Ash’s performance could be aptly described as inexperienced.

The crowd dispersed, and the new friend came forward, anxiously speaking to Miniskirt, who optimistically told her to relax.

[You reassured your friend not to worry, instilling trust in you despite her hesitation]

[To live up to this trust, you called home]

On the virtual screen, Miniskirt went to the school gate, retrieved two Pokeballs from a car, and put them in her own pocket.

Huh?

Are the new Pokémon being sourced from home? No, they’re probably Pokémon she raised earlier.

Baimu realized deeply that the students at this school acquire new Pokémon differently than traditional Trainers, who capture them in the wild.

Everything in front of him proved just that.

In the dorm, Miniskirt opened those two Pokeballs.

[You welcome back your former Pokémon: Jigglypuff, your partners have increased]

[You welcome back your former Pokémon: Nidorina, your partners have increased]

Again, they are Pokémon requiring Moonstones for evolution?

So why aren’t they evolving, Baimu wondered—maybe it’s some rich people’s quirk.

Perhaps they think the evolved Clefairy, Jigglypuff, and Nidorina are too big and lose their cuteness.

Or maybe it’s due to some special reason.

He watched as Miniskirt began training the three Pokémon, though with the full pixel graphics and rapid passing of time, it offered little experience.

Otherwise, gaining some knowledge through the simulator would be excellent.

Time passed.

Before long.

The day of the scheduled competition arrived, Miniskirt, with her friend, went to the battle site, discovering a significant number of onlookers.

Among them were middle and high-level students and even teachers.

[You suddenly realized the match and the position as head of the elementary was not as simple as you thought, but rather than fear, you became more excited]

The friend’s character trembled slightly, and Miniskirt shook along with resolve, standing before the elementary head.

It was clear from the narration that excitement overwhelmed her.

The match was about to begin.

Baimu couldn’t be sure if Miniskirt would ultimately win, more curious about whether the head was indeed an elite prodigy.

But when both sides released their Pokémon, he showed a disappointed expression.

The elementary head sent out the Fire Attribute Rapidash, not the Graveler or Cubone the elite might have used—though it could just be they picked Rapidash at random.

After all, having numerous Pokémon in a wealthy family is common.

He still couldn’t be definite.

Rapidash and Clefairy stood still, with the former towering high like a horse at the pixel level, making the small Clefairy look ridiculously overwhelmed.

Soon after.

Rapidash began running around the area, with special effects worth fifty cents depicting flames circling it like snakes. As its speed increased, white lines indicated its incredible speed.

But Clefairy had only one counter-measure—

Leaping into the path of the charging Rapidash, reaching to grab its horn, while a light blue Aqua Wave formed in its right hand, turning into a fist and slamming down!

Bam! Bam!

When Clefairy swung its fist, the entire screen trembled, highlighting its terrifying power.

Water splashed with a rush, as though it were unlimited.

The narration also continuously expressed.

[Your Clefairy used Water Fluctuation, and the effect was outstanding; Rapidash’s condition rapidly decreased]

[Your Clefairy again used Water Fluctuation, with outstanding effect, and Rapidash, unable to shake off Clefairy, began to feel like crying]

Was the gap really so big?

Baimu knew very well how terrifying the kind of strength Clefairy needed to accomplish everything mentioned above was.

Just the momentum Rapidash brought with its charge was formidable—not something easily grabbed onto.

The two Pokémon got entangled—but it was Clefairy beating up Rapidash single-handedly, hard to believe how tight its little paw was holding.

In short.

Rapidash succumbed to the third ”punch,” lying down obediently, leaving the audience with ellipsis overhead.

Miniskirt’s performance undoubtedly stunned everyone.

The subsequent two Pokémon from the elementary head also failed against Miniskirt’s Jigglypuff and Nidorina. Baimu also saw many unusual battle strategies in the small pixel animation.

For example, inhaling sharply before attacking to become overwhelmingly large, then using [Giant Sound] like an [Explosive Sound Wave] from Jigglypuff.

Also like Nidorina, a poison incarnate spraying toxic traps all over the ground and desperately smearing poison on opponents.

The reckless battle tactics left many students exclaiming—

”That’s not in the textbooks!”

[Your performance shocked the entire school’s students and teachers, allowing you to become the elementary head, qualifying for skipping grades]

After the narration surfaced.

Miniskirt chose without hesitation to skip grades, stepping into the world of the middle school division, aiming for graduation from the higher division, intending to qualify for the league competition within a semester.

Baimu found himself filled with emotion, thinking to himself—

”This is solid!”

Surely, there’s no way they won’t make it before the league competition ends? They can’t possibly lose to the higher division before it ends, right?

No way?
