Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 58: Chapter 56: Champion’s Bearing

After entering the mid-level department, Miniskirt became even more unruly.

Disagree?

Don’t even think about coming down until you’ve finished a hundred questions!

Hey! So you want to fight!

Miniskirt may not be tall or strong-looking, but almost no one can beat her.

She beats her opponents until they beg for mercy, then drags them to the treadmill, regardless of whether they are male or female, like picking up little chicks.

Just like when Xiaoxia carried an old, scorched bicycle, chasing Ash Ketchum all the way to Evergreen City, or Alee, the Fighting-type Gym Leader, battling fiercely with Lucario.

Friends watched the entire time, wandering around with exclamation marks above their heads.

The narrator occasionally jumps in to add presence.

[You defeated ***, he ”agreed” to your battle request]

”Agreed” with quotation marks, as if afraid others wouldn’t know it was forced.

Seeing Miniskirt’s flair, Baimu finally understood why Clefairy’s Fairy Boxing was so strong and where it was learned from.

Lead by example, huh.

Without a genius Fighting Trainer, could your Clefairy become a world champion?

Nope.

Miniskirt is comparable to their nightmare; not only does she herself get punched, but her Pokémon also has to take a couple of hits from her Clefairy.

For a time, the students in the mid-level department suffered terribly.

As long as she could battle without restraint, Miniskirt basically wouldn’t cause trouble for the teachers.

Baimu noticed through the screen that many teachers showed relief and appreciation for Miniskirt’s not skipping classes, giving thumbs up icons one after another as if they cost nothing.

[Your adherence to the rules put the teachers at ease]

It was easy to see from the narrator’s introduction that the chief’s position in this school was extraordinary.

Just like the overwhelmingly powerful student councils in anime, possessing rights that even surpass those of ordinary teachers.

Therefore.

The faculty all felt they should view Miniskirt in a new light.

As for those beaten students.

Huh? How did they not know there was such a group?

Now the target has just changed, what reason do they have to care? It’s not as if Miniskirt’s family lacks money or power.

A few weeks later, failing to receive a challenge note from the mid-level chief, Miniskirt couldn’t hold back anymore.

In the scene.

As soon as the class was over.

She rushed straight into the class where the mid-level chief was, kicked open the door blocked by the chief’s underlings with great boldness, and threw down the challenge note in public.

The teacher on the platform, organizing textbooks and preparing to leave, wisely pretended not to see with ”...” above their head.

[You challenged the mid-level chief, betting on alternating the chief position, and the mid-level chief ”agreed”]

Baimu watched as the mid-level chief, staring at the challenge note and lingering in the classroom, was overjoyed.

For Miniskirt, his simulation target, he could say he had no dissatisfaction at all.

He recalled numerous glimmering scenes of Miniskirt nurturing Pokémon in the past few seconds, aware that Miniskirt’s attention had never been on her peers.

From the start, Miniskirt’s goal was the conference!

And agreeing to enroll in the Pokémon Research School was merely a small compromise because her parents wouldn’t let her travel alone and challenge the Gyms.

If she’s got talent, she’s got talent; if she’s got effort, she’s got effort; if she’s got family background, she’s got family background.

What is this?

The demeanor of a Champion!

If she doesn’t become the conference champion, who will? If she doesn’t pioneer the regional clearance for herself, who will?

Victory in the conference is meant for her!

Baimu was full of confidence in Miniskirt, and the latter did not disappoint her expectations.

In the battle against the mid-level chief, she fully showcased her training features, utilizing the ”advantages” of many Pokémon to achieve ultimate victory.

These include but are not limited to—

Clefairy riding on Snorlax’s loud, hollering face, grabbing its thick ears and waving her little paw, surrounded by a brown-red airflow, at its squinty eyes.

”Glutton, huh? Try a punch from me first!”

”Unworthy chief, take these two punches!”

The Enhanced Fist kept the orange-red airflow that indicated an increase in physical attack going nonstop.

Of course, Snorlax wasn’t sitting idly by, frequently reaching its paws to grab Clefairy, but unfortunately, those little wings, which look like they’re just for show, are actually very agile in flight.

Grab the left, and it switches to the right; grab the right, and it switches to the left.

Grabbing both sides, it flew directly onto its head, smashed down with Splitting Tiles, and even made it sneeze out its snot.

Hard to imagine this is a Fairy Attribute Pokémon and not a Fighting Attribute one.

The string of ”...” from the onlooking mid-level students also proved they have never seen such a Clefairy before; as for whether they’ll tear up their textbooks afterward, that’s another matter.

[Your Clefairy defeated Snorlax, but it still seemed unsatisfied]

”Ash Ketchum’s Primeape’s World Boxing Champion’s Golden Belt should belong to you.”

Baimu was extremely moved and pondered if Mawile could develop in the same direction as Clefairy.

Mawile has the Strongman Trait after mega evolving, and even without mega evolution, it has strong force, plus it can learn the Triple Punch and even more punch-type moves.

Regrettably, pixel images can’t learn nurturing techniques...

Might there be rewards? Maybe some attribute or even some elf nurturing techniques and the like.

As he imagined, Miniskirt also successfully defeated the mid-level chief.

Old three, old techniques.

Yet the scholarly students at the Pokémon Research School found themselves helpless against her, as their level suppression and attribute suppression rules were ineffective in front of a Miniskirt.

High level? My level is even higher.

Attribute compatibility? Ignoring attribute compatibility with sheer strength is clearly stated in the textbooks at school!

[You defeated the chief of the Intermediate Division, gained the chief’s position in the Intermediate Division, and decided to continue advancing to the Advanced Division]

Through the screen.

Baimu seemed to hear the wails coming from the Advanced Division students and the pounding heartbeats of the Advanced Division chief.

No choice, he’d be nervous too.

This Miniskirt is certainly reckless, but different from the senseless recklessness of a Bug Catching Boy, hers is methodical. She always does special training before taking on the strongest in each grade.

The same applies when she reached the Advanced Division.

Surprisingly, another talent was realized on the second day after advancing to the Advanced Division.

It was an afternoon.

[You were angry at his abandonment behavior, but you didn’t act, knowing that what’s done is done]

[You comforted the abandoned Pokémon: Seadra (male), Seadra was grateful to you and hoped to become your support]

[You agreed]

Exactly you! [Kind-hearted] and [Attracting Bees and Butterflies] Miniskirt!

Baimu didn’t think a Miniskirt from such a family would covet a Seadra; this child truly is kind-hearted and doesn’t look down on any Pokémon.

On another note.

With many students in the Advanced Division about to graduate and compete, strength surged, extending Miniskirt’s special training time.

Considering needing six Pokémon for the competition, she called the remaining two Pokémon via phone.

[You welcomed back your former Pokémon: Azumarill (male), partner added]

[You welcomed back your former Pokémon: Jumpluff (male), partner added]

Hmm... There really aren’t any particularly rare Pokémon.

Miniskirt’s complete team surprised Baimu, though it was expected.

Unlike trainers who seek natural strength or rarity, Miniskirt clearly prefers to uncover Pokémon’s shining points herself.

Therefore, whether they’re rare is secondary.

Interestingly, the team’s gender distribution is surprisingly balanced, three males and three females.

Baimu sipped his drink, eagerly watching the screen’s display.

With a complete team, Miniskirt’s special training grew increasingly intense, directly requesting leave from school to prolong the training.

Through narration hints, the reason Pokémon like Clefairy haven’t evolved finally came to light.

[Your Clefairy learned a new move: Comet Fist, strength increased]

[Your Jigglypuff learned a new move: Sacrifice Charge, strength increased]

[Your Nidorina learned a new move...]

Numerous entries refresh repeatedly, proving Miniskirt didn’t evolve them to let Pokémon like Clefairy learn more moves.

Once the entries stop appearing.

Miniskirt immediately took out a pile of strange stones and scales, and Baimu found it difficult to understand where these things emerged in pixel content.

After using them one by one.

[Your Clefairy evolved into Clefable]

[Your Jigglypuff evolved into Wigglytuff]

[Your Nidorina evolved into Nidoqueen]

[Your Seadra evolved into Kingdra]

The true complete form team! It’s formed!

Baimu couldn’t help but applaud, watching simulations felt like watching a cartoon, especially tense and exciting, always anticipating the final team formation of the simulation subject.

The previous teams were too overwhelming.

Miniskirt style rocks!

The day after the team formation, Miniskirt, as usual, walked calmly with friends into the Advanced Division chief’s classroom and threw a challenge letter to him.

The Advanced Division chief accepted the challenge.

He clearly knew Miniskirt would eventually arrive, hence made many preparations in advance.

The chosen Pokémon mostly countered Miniskirt’s Pokémon, and in terms of level, it was maximized, as high as possible.

But.

In front of evolved Pokémon like Clefable, these were all illusions.

When Nidoking’s overwhelming Mud Wave attacked, Clefable easily used Earth Pound Technique: Water Fluctuation to create waves comparable to surfing, forcefully pressing back the Mud Wave.

Then, flapping her wings, charged forward, hitting Nidoking’s crown with two punches, knocking its horn askew.

Following, Wigglytuff’s gyro ball after inflating crazily to tens of times; Nidoqueen’s robust yet extremely agile dance-like Poison Tail and Poison Strike combo attacks;

Kingdra’s Fake Super Water Vortex that you can’t escape once you’re in; Azumarill’s Water Jet after belly drumming, aiming at your life; Jumpluff’s parasitic seeds bursting with cotton crazily growing all tormented the Advanced Division chief.

Yet, as a chief in the Advanced Division, he indeed surpassed the rote-learning level, hence compared to the previous two chiefs, he had a fighting chance.

Unfortunately, nothing was effective before Miniskirt.

Ultimately, undoubtedly defeated, as the highest tier, he also played GG.

And after spending months forcibly advancing from the Elementary Division to the Advanced Division, clearing the bullying atmosphere within the school, revered by countless students — Miniskirt officially gained qualification to participate in the Quartz Conference.

[You defeated the Advanced Division chief, tradition has been utterly destroyed by you, all students are grateful to you, you decide to start preparing for the Quartz Conference]

Finally!

The Quartz Conference competition is about to begin!
