Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 85: Chapter 83: The Might of Little Egg

Hitmonlee is evidently much more difficult to deal with than Hitmonchan.

On one hand, it’s because Baimu doesn’t understand Leg Techniques, confined to the paper data given by Flop. On the other hand, Hitmonlee’s flexible legs greatly extend its reach.

With only one semi-ranged skill like Fairy Wind, Mawile truly struggles against it.

Having Chansey impose restrictions is an inevitable process.

”Flying Kick! Aim lower!”

Hitmonlee suddenly pushed off the ground with his left foot, his entire body soaring upwards, his right leg compressed like a spring before abruptly releasing, the fierce wind-breaking sound terrifying like a bullet leaving a chamber!

Sacrifice Trait and Iron Fist Trait create a blessing for it!

At the same moment of its attack, Baimu gave Chansey an instruction.

”Shrink to the limit!”

In an instant.

Chansey’s body rapidly shrunk under the blue light, its rounded head barely brushing against Hitmonlee’s kick, its foot’s three arrow-like claws thudding into the ground, exploding in a ring of dust.

”Hah!”

Hitmonlee showed a painful expression.

The power of the Flying Kick is indeed strong, but if it misses, it results in a certain level of injury to Hitmonlee.

The burly man frowned.

He deliberately had Hitmonlee adjust the attack position but still couldn’t hit, Chansey’s shrink activation speed was faster than he anticipated, the size smaller than expected, initially shrinking to a small gas tank’s size, now only a few circles bigger than a palm.

A bit tricky.

Moreover.

Dodging Hitmonlee’s kick, the next second, Chansey transformed back under Baimu’s command.

The brief change in size substantially reduced mental pressure on the latter, but the enhanced Dynamic Vision and neural reaction ability from using shrink remained for a short time.

This is what is called ”Evasion” improvement.

”Invisible Rock!”

Baimu shouted.

The arena was too noisy, raising the volume was necessary.

Chansey raised its claws high, countless rock fragments flew up from the ground, condensing into sharp rocks shining with white light, floating in the air and quickly disappearing.

Meanwhile, Hitmonlee’s kick came again.

But compared to the clean and swift kick before, this attack was more cautious, yet still stirred a gust of wind.

In Chansey’s eyes, Hitmonlee’s spring-like kick motion was actually not fast, even if shrinking didn’t increase its leg strength, it still twisted its body to dodge.

”Careful! There’s a second!”

The Trainer’s warning came, it suddenly saw Hitmonlee retract his whip-like right foot, using the force of reverse compression, the second kick came out faster and stronger!

Dodge!

It spun its rounded body, once again brushing past Hitmonlee’s attack.

”Damn it! Eye of the Heart!”

After two unachieved attacks, the burly man’s patience gradually worn out, he roared energetically.

Hitmonlee’s eyes suddenly lit with an ethereal blue glow, the gaze following Chansey’s movements as if predicting its next moving direction.

But for some reason, Chansey didn’t take any offensive action, just as guest White Bird said, it seemed to be a pure support-type Pokémon.

”Whatever type of Pokémon you are—Flying Knee Kick!”

The burly man got ruthless, attempting to take it down immediately.

”Wah-ha!”

Seeing through Chansey’s trajectory completely, Hitmonlee leaped up, his right leg suddenly extended and bent, the knee aiming somewhere.

At first glance, it seemed like the attack would fall into empty space, but in fact, Chansey was less than half a meter from its landing spot and continued moving towards it.

As if the latter was actively approaching Hitmonlee’s knee.

The commentator excitedly shouted, indicating that the match’s first eliminated Pokémon was about to be born.

However.

Suddenly.

A layer of green light film abruptly appeared, blocking Hitmonlee’s knee’s path.

Bang!

The light membrane shattered under the terrifying impact, but the forward momentum caused the ones engaging the Flying Knee Kick to pounce on Chansey.

The two Pokémon instantly embraced.

Seeing this scene.

The recently excited commentator fell silent instantly, dumbfounded at the sight below. White Bird frowned, picked up the documents, and flipped through them carefully.

The burly man, the man involved, was even more wide-eyed.

”Defend! It’s Defend!”

”Audience friends! Chansey’s Defend has blocked Hitmonlee’s Eye of the Heart and Flying Knee Kick Double Strike!”

The commentator’s mouth filled with astonishment.

Why?

Because the information he obtained didn’t include Chansey possessing Defend, and in the entire Pyrite Town, aside from Baimu himself, the only ones aware of this intel were the thirty-two strong-player and the Pyrite Arena’s AI program judging win or loss.

Why didn’t that person mention?

Very simple.

He felt ashamed of how Pidgeot and Chansey fought, wanting to save face, he directly blurred that section, merely mentioning singing and Invisible Rock.

To express it’s not his lack of skill, but Chansey coincidentally succeeded in using singing that led to losing.

Pidgeot never got blocked by Defend from using Lightning Flash, and was successfully entangled by Chansey despite trying all it could, yet remained helpless.

The singing was too loud! The Invisible Rock too sharp!

Causing the burly man to also be unaware that Chansey could Defend.

”Sing!”

”Attack continuously with Splitting Tiles! Quick!”

A calm and a hurried voice rang out in the field.

Hitmonlee raised his palm, fiercely chopped at Chansey whom it was rolling into a ball with, the latter showing a painful expression, but the singing action showed no sign of stopping.

Attacking may not work against it, but it’s absolutely the strongest in enduring pain!

”La♪~ La-La-La♬~ La-la-Li♫~ La-La-La-Li-La♬~”

The soothing song relaxed Hitmonlee’s heart, he gradually closed his eyes, the chopping action gradually lossening.

The exhausted, dizzy Chansey slowly rose.

Success!

”Hatch Egg!”

It laboriously placed its claws on its belly, the round egg instantly emitted a luminous green light, irrigating Chansey’s precarious stamina, showing a relaxed expression.

Baimu decisively chose to exchange, letting Chansey retire to rest and recover spirits.

Opposite.

The burly man also dared not hesitate, he withdrew Hitmonlee.

Just hesitated a few seconds between the third Pokémon and Hitmonchan, resulted in Baimu already releasing the third Pokémon—

Lairon.

One person and one elf rigorously faced his selection!

The burly man, helpless, could only select his third Pokémon.

Small-bodied but with a sharp horn on top, limbs and tail regions feature blue protective gear and bandage-style construct of a brown existence—

Hitmontop (Kapoeira), inverted Pokémon.

The burly man’s one is a Technical Expert Trait, able to enhance many small-power skills.

Fourfold restraining Lairon, it even possesses the capability for decisive action.

Unfortunately, due to the Trainer’s hesitation, it lost the initiative.

”Quicksand Hell!”

In the instant it landed, Lairon’s back sprayed out endless yellow sand, swirling around creating a terrifyingly immense Sandstorm Tornado, suddenly wrapping around Hitmontop!

”Spin upside down! Don’t be influenced by the sandstorm!”

The burly man shouted, but soon his mouth turned sandy yellow due to the sandstorm, full of dirt-yellow gravel!
