Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 60: Chapter 58: The Young Lady Arrives

Selected the rewards.

Everything before his eyes vanished, turning into a countdown and a small plus sign.

Staring at the plus sign for a long while, the stored rewards began to emerge one by one.

No rush to use levels for now; as the levels increase later, it feels harder to advance, so maximizing the effect is quite necessary. Unless there’s some Pokémon that desperately needs these two levels.

Move Tutor... this thing is a bit like a lottery; you can only choose attributes, and who knows what skill will randomly appear.

Also put it aside, wait until patching things up to decide.

A specified attribute Pokémon needs to be delayed even more, besides Dragon Attribute, the others aren’t necessary; there’s a high chance of drawing ordinary ones, only the Dragon Attribute has a high probability of big draws.

But Mawile is arriving tomorrow, better tame this ”young lady” first.

The only thing that can be used immediately is probably the [Miniskirt’s Fighting Memory—Boxing], though this is the fighting memory of a teenage girl, judging by the simulation content, it should help him quite a bit.

He quietly selected it, and then everything before him went black.

When his vision brightened again.

Baimu found himself in an extremely unfamiliar fighting arena, the surrounding environment slightly blurry, like some not-so-deep memory.

And in front of him stood a man with a blurred face but solid muscles.

The other was saying something, and he was slowly following suit.

Unable to shift his perspective or control his body, he could only passively experience all this, the feelings the teen experienced when learning boxing with Miniskirt.

Gradually, he became immersed.

Having never learned boxing in any life, he couldn’t know if Pokémon World’s fighting techniques were the same as in previous lives, but at the moment felt extremely rewarding.

Then.

Baimu woke up.

Outside, it was already light.

”...”

He blinked, looking at the bright sunlight streaming through the curtains, then at Chansey at the foot of the bed and Lairon under the bed, ”Goodness, it made me go through all night...”

Playing back memories took so much time, quite unexpectedly; glancing at the clock on the wall showed it lasted at least six or seven hours.

Nevertheless, his gains were substantial; not only boxing knowledge to teach Mawile but also some insight into how to train Pokémon’s power Baimu now had.

”Lucky...”

”Gudo...”

Hearing his voice, the two Pokémon slowly woke up.

”All awake? Let’s have some breakfast and get ready to welcome the new friend. Remember, without my command, even if I’m attacked, you can’t fight back.”

Baimu sincerely instructed them.

Lairon and Chansey nodded, seemingly understanding.

Breakfast at home.

Baimu had a cup of diluted MooMoo Fresh Milk, a nutritional egg, plus bread and vegetables; Lairon had the same in the first two, but also consumed some minerals and specialized Pokémon food, while Chansey, though lacking minerals, still needed nutrients.

This counted as quite the expense for breakfast alone.

After all, MooMoo Fresh Milk’s price is extraordinary, even diluted isn’t exempt.

”When will Pyrite Town have the conditions to raise Miltank herds,” he couldn’t help but lament, the barren environment making all fresh fruits and grains extremely expensive here.

Dehydrated vegetables, canned foods were reasonably priced, but their taste was terribly bad, and anyone who had eaten fresh vegetables wouldn’t find dehydrated ones tasty.

”Three parts training, seven parts eating—didn’t expect Pokémon World also follows this theory.”

Baimu had to start considering earning money for family sustenance.

Ultimately, his goal isn’t to barely scrape by in Pyrite Town; without accumulating significant funds, going to other regions would be meaningless.

Basically, it’s jumping from one fish pond where big fish consume you to another similar pond.

Though some big fish are so huge that you wouldn’t even know when they devour you.

But with the current situation, other than quickly and easily earning money from the lowest class civilians, what other method does he have?

Making money from the wealthy can indeed make one wealthy quickly but isn’t so easy...

Wait a minute.

Since there’s a phone, why not earn money from the internet?

Instead of confining to Pyrite Town’s small domain, broaden the horizon globally, perhaps there’s a fortune path to discover.

Better shake off the semi-illiterate status sooner.

Upon reflection, Baimu found that although survival wasn’t threatening anymore, he has far too much to do, to the extent that 24 hours may not be enough.

——

Just past nine in the morning.

Flop finally arrived, bringing quite a lot of stuff.

Besides the basic Pokeball and health check report, there were various miscellaneous items.

”Sorry to keep you waiting, here are some gifts from the big boss, the doll Mawile loves most, and some personal items...”

He handed the items to Baimu one by one and then swiped two million with something like a pos machine.

”This nameless card is yours now; you can transfer it to your personal name through the phone. If you can’t operate it, you can also visit the small branch of Pokémon World Bank at Dungeon 16.”

Flop smiled, ”Now, let me not disturb you anymore, enjoy your time with the new Pokémon.”

”Thank you.”

Baimu softly thanked, watching Flop leave.

On the table.

Mawile inhabits a black-gold-threaded Luxury Ball, reputedly offering far greater comfort than ordinary ball types, which Baimu had just changed for Lairon and Chansey yesterday, winning unanimous praise.

A pampered young lady indeed...

After pondering slightly, flipping through that health report once more, he chose to head outdoors, to avoid incurring extra renovation costs.

Although Mawile isn’t as destructive as a Husky, it might devisingly plan a million-dollar renovation once grouchy, he’d truly cry then.

Lairon and Chansey followed behind, also extremely curious about the new partner yet worried about the Trainer facing attacks, remembering Vibrava from before.

In the backyard.

Baimu stood in the dappled tree shade, opening the Luxury Ball.

Bang!

A beam of white light shot to the ground, transforming into a small humanoid figure.

”Chido?”

The sound rang melodiously like silver bells.

With a terrifying large mouth replacing long black hair, twin bangs framing its face, and yellow short fur like a miniature kimono, the cute creature with large copper-red eyes blinking appeared before Baimu.

The appearance was endearing and easily won the favor of Pokémon enthusiasts.

However, it bears the scientific name: Deception Pokémon.

The reason lies in Mawile’s pitch-black jaws at the back of its head.

”Hello.”

Baimu greeted it with a gentle smile.

Mawile glanced up at him, making no responses but lowered its head in thought, eyes flickering.

Baimu couldn’t quite grasp what this little fellow was pondering, casting glances at Lairon and Chansey, the duo shook their heads, indicating their cluelessness too.

Several seconds passed.

Mawile started observing its surroundings, firstly the large tree behind him, then reaching out towards Lairon and Chansey, the saplings, even the two-story little building and the heat wind that stung its face.

”Chido...”

It sighed with a human-like demeanor, casually walking to the backyard gate, its massive jaws at the back of its head bouncing as it moved, having a hint of cuteness.

Baimu immediately followed suit.
