The summoning chamber fell silent.

The words ENTER NEW WORLD NAME hovered above the ancient control pedestal in glowing silver letters, casting soft light over the faces gathered around it.

Gene stood shoulder to shoulder with Selene.

Their fingers were intertwined.

Behind them waited the family they had built together.

Lilith bounced on her toes.

Moira clutched her notebook, practically vibrating with excitement.

Mother Sarah stood with dignified calm.

Jesse Belle rested her hand in the Caretaker’s massive gloved palm.

Chef Lucien and Pierre the French Cart waited nearby, as if expecting the universe itself to request catering.

Victor and Morrigan whispered theories.

Captain Stringer and his puppets stood at attention.

The dragons watched through the open chamber doors, their immense eyes gleaming in the twilight.

Gene looked at Selene.

Selene smiled.

“I think we both know what to call it.”

Gene nodded.

Together, they spoke.

“Mystic Blood Valley.”

For one breathless second, nothing happened.

Then the world answered.

⸻

The Merger Begins

The summoning machine roared to life.

Silver and crimson light exploded from the pedestal.

The letters dissolved and were replaced by a new system prompt.

⸻

WORLD MERGER INITIATED

Primary Domains:

• Nightmare Grand Hotel

• Mooncrest Enchanted Realm

New World Designation:

Mystic Blood Valley

Compatibility: 99.8%

Soul Resonance: Perfect Match

Synchronizing Terrain…

Synchronizing Structures…

Synchronizing Summons…

Synchronizing Fate…

⸻

The floor trembled.

A deep, resonant tone echoed through the chamber like the ringing of an ancient bell.

Then another message appeared.

⸻

HIDDEN MISSION UNLOCKED

Dreams and Nightmares

The world of summoners faces an approaching calamity.

Unite the powers of fantasy and horror.

Discover the truth of the ancient prophecy.

Reward:

Unknown

Failure:

Catastrophic

⸻

Gene swallowed.

“Well,” he said weakly, “that sounds ominous.”

Moira’s pen flew across the page.

“I am definitely staying for this.”

⸻

A New Horizon

The walls of the chamber dissolved into transparent crystal.

Everyone stared as the landscape outside transformed.

The Nightmare Grand Hotel and Midnight Academy remained at the center, but the world beyond expanded at a breathtaking pace.

Forests stretched outward in all directions.

Moonlit crystal groves intertwined with dark pine woods.

Silver rivers cut through black stone valleys.

Mountains rose in the distance.

New roads appeared like silver threads connecting the growing lands.

The two original towns—Grimhollow and Moonfen—were joined by three new settlements:

• Silverbrook, a riverside city of artisans and merchants.

• Thornwatch, a fortified frontier town.

• Starhollow, a mystical city built around glowing crystal trees.

Near the center of the valley, a vast castle materialized atop a hill of white stone and obsidian.

Its elegant towers merged gothic horror with fairy-tale grandeur.

And far beyond everything else, where the new borders of the world settled—

A mountain appeared.

It rose higher than all the others, shrouded in swirling mist and perpetual storm clouds.

Even from a distance, it radiated ancient power.

Selene shivered.

“I’ve never seen something like that before.”

Gene felt the same instinctive unease.

“That mountain wasn’t part of either world.”

Moira adjusted her glasses.

“Then the merger created something entirely new.”

Lilith tugged Gene’s sleeve.

“Can we explore it?”

Gene looked at the distant peak.

“Eventually.”

⸻

The Fourth Tower Awakens

The system chimed again.

⸻

ALERT

The convergence of Mystic Blood Valley has awakened an Ancient Vault.

Location:

Fourth Tower

Objective:

Retrieve the hidden inheritance.

⸻

Moira gasped.

“The Fourth Tower… I do believe that tower has been sealed for centuries.”

Victor perked up.

“Treasure?”

Morrigan smiled.

“There is always treasure.”

Gene glanced toward Selene.

“Before we go, I do want to do one thing.”

⸻

A Gift for the Caretaker

Gene still carried the broken fragments of the Caretaker’s shattered porcelain mask.

Seeing his friend’s face had changed something.

The Caretaker had worn that old mask for so long that Gene realized how much it meant to him.

He stepped to the summoning console.

“If I can summon items…”

He entered a concise description.

A mystical artisan’s box capable of crafting masks from legendary materials, customized to fit and empower the wearer.

The machine pulsed.

A black lacquered case appeared.

When Gene opened it, velvet-lined compartments held tools and shimmering material samples.

The system chimed.

⸻

ITEM SUMMON SUCCESSFUL

Maskmaker’s Reliquary

Specialty:

Custom protective masks

Available Materials:

• Obsidian

• Silver

• Bone porcelain

• Enchanted steel

• Black titanium

⸻

Gene turned to the Caretaker.

The giant tilted his head.

Gene smiled.

“This one’s for you.”

Together, with Jesse Belle and Lilith offering enthusiastic opinions, they selected a design.

Smooth and angular.

Jet black.

Forged from black titanium.

More durable than the previous porcelain mask.

The finished mask emerged from the box in a swirl of dark mist.

Gene held it out.

The Caretaker took it reverently.

For a moment, he stared at his own reflection in the polished surface.

Then he fitted it into place.

The black mask settled over his scarred features perfectly.

His dark eyes stared out from narrow slits.

He looked more imposing than ever.

And somehow more dignified.

Lilith clapped.

“You look amazing!”

Jesse Belle pressed both hands to her cheeks.

“Mercy me, he somehow got even more handsome.”

The Caretaker’s shoulders straightened.

He gave Gene a nod of gratitude.

No words were needed.

Gene smiled.

“It suits you.”

⸻

Journey to the Fourth Tower

The Fourth Tower stood newly revealed on the edge of the merged kingdom.

Unlike the lively Seventh Tower, this one was ancient and austere.

Black stone walls rose into the sky.

Massive sealed doors stood open for the first time in ages.

Dust swirled through vast, silent halls.

Ancient murals lined the walls.

They depicted strange scenes:

Dragons and demons.

A moon-crowned queen.

A masked guardian.

A dark castle.

And two figures standing hand in hand before a world split by shadow and light.

Gene and Selene exchanged a glance.

“Well, That’s pretty unsettling,” Gene murmured.

Moira looked as if she might faint from all the excitement.

⸻

The Ancient Vault

At the heart of the tower, a circular chamber lay hidden behind layers of magic.

Its doors opened only when Gene and Selene touched them together.

Inside rested a single pedestal.

On it lay:

• An ancient scroll sealed with silver and crimson wax.

• A small locked box of black metal.

The box was no larger than Gene’s hand.

The moment Selene stepped closer, the moonstone necklace at her throat began to glow.

Silver light pulsed from the pendant.

The locked box answered.

Runes ignited across its surface.

The chamber trembled.

Selene’s breath caught.

“Gene…”

Gene immediately stepped between her and the box.

“Don’t touch it.”

Selene nodded, eyes fixed on the pulsing artifact.

⸻

The Prophecy Scroll

Moira carefully broke the seal on the scroll.

The parchment unfurled on its own.

Ancient words shimmered into readable text.

She read aloud.

In the age when summoners forget the balance of wonder and fear,

the world shall tremble beneath a devouring shadow.

From the realms of Dreams and Nightmares shall arise two sovereign hearts.

Bound by love, they shall unite blood, wonder , terror and hope.

They shall awaken the hidden valley.

They shall ascend the mountain of forgotten kings.

And only by opening the final inheritance shall the world be saved.

Silence filled the chamber.

Gene exhaled slowly.

“So apparently we’re in a prophecy now.”

Victor whispered.

“Oh, I adore a good prophecy.”

Morrigan squeezed his arm.

“Of course you do.”

Moira looked pale.

“This text is older than any summoner record I’ve ever studied.”

Selene touched her glowing necklace.

“This inheritance…”

She looked at the locked box.

“…is connected to my family.”

⸻

A Difficult Decision

The box pulsed more urgently.

Gene could feel the power radiating from it.

Every instinct screamed that opening it now was a terrible idea.

He picked it up.

The pulsing intensified.

Selene’s necklace flashed brightly.

Gene quickly crossed the room and slipped the box into the Caretaker’s front pocket.

The glow vanished instantly.

Everyone exhaled.

Gene folded his arms.

“These stay separated until we know exactly what happens if they touch.”

Selene nodded.

“Agreed.”

Moira adjusted her glasses.

“A very wise decision.”

Lilith looked disappointed.

“So… no exploding treasures?”

“Not tonight,” Gene said.

“Aww but we came all this way.”

⸻

Truths Yet Untold

On the journey back to the hotel, Selene remained unusually quiet.

Finally, she stopped beneath the moonlit sky.

“My parents must know something.”

Gene turned to her.

Selene touched her necklace.

“This has been in my family for generations.”

She looked towards the distant Mountain.

“They never told me where it came from.”

Gene took both of her hands.

“Then it’s time they did.”

Selene’s silver eyes shimmered with uncertainty.

Gene kissed her forehead.

“We’ll figure this out.”

She nodded.

“I need to go to my family manor.”

Gene smiled gently.

“Then go. We will be here waiting for you to return.”

⸻

Parting Ways

Back at the hotel entrance, Selene stood before the portal that would take her home.

The family gathered around them.

Lilith hugged Selene tightly.

“Come back soon.”

Selene smiled and kissed her head.

“I will.”

She turned to Gene.

For a moment, neither spoke.

Then she stepped into his arms.

“I have such a bad feeling,” she whispered.

Gene held her close.

“So do I.”

She pulled back and touched his cheek.

“Be careful.”

“You too.”

They kissed.

Softly.

Tenderly.

And with more uncertainty than either wanted to admit.

Then Selene stepped through the portal.

The silver light vanished.

Gene stared at the empty space for several seconds.

⸻

Addressing the Family

Later that night, Gene stood in the hotel’s grand lounge.

Everyone had gathered.

Monsters.

Teachers.

Friends.

Family.

Gene looked around at the faces he loved.

“Apparently we have now entered a prophecy.”

That got everyone’s attention.

He explained the world merger, the hidden mission, the mysterious mountain, the vault, and the locked box.

When he finished, silence lingered.

Mother Sarah folded her hands.

“We must prepare.”

Jesse Belle nodded.

“Amen to that.”

Captain Stringer adjusted his hat.

“Threat… assessment… underway.”

Victor grinned.

“Yes! Research!”

Morrigan smiled.

“Research with snacks.”

Lucien placed a comforting hand over his heart.

“Whatever comes, no one’ll face it hungry.”

Lilith lightly tugged Gene,s sleeve.

“We’ll be ok right?”

Gene hugged her.

He looked around the room.

At his family.

At the home they had built.

At the world that now depended on them.

And for the first time, Gene fully understood the weight of the prophecy.

The world of summoners was in danger.

Mystic Blood Valley had awakened for a reason.

And somewhere beyond the horizon, atop a mountain that should not exist, the next chapter of their story was waiting.

Gene tightened his arms around Lilith and looked toward the storm-shrouded peak in the distance.

Whatever was coming—

They would face it together.
