Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 943: Chapter 49: Civilization Rectification Mission

Let me be blunt, the vast majority of mechanical species are symbiotic species.

These mechanical species have acquired some ’traits’ or rather, ’bad habits’ from their native races.

From the perspective of a native mechanical body like the Purple Giant Star, robots with xp are not good robots; they are the fallen and should be eliminated.

This type of thinking, according to the official explanation of the Civilization Council, is known as ’extreme mechanical exclusivism’.

So when the ’General Cybertron’, who was found to have videos hidden in his brain, is considered a fallen one, it really pains the Purple Giant Star.

A perfectly good Double Flower Red Staff, how did it become tainted with yellow?

Gao Gong felt a chill in his heart and appeared ashamed on the surface: ”To absorb the power of carbon-based species, I was forced to acquire humanoid species’ mating desires, I have fallen.”

”Personally, I believe these are the original sins of carbon-based species.”

The Purple Giant Star sighed:

”The fact that you can understand this indicates that you still have a chance to turn back.”

In the endless starry sky, the data cable was pulled out from Gao Gong’s head and retracted.

”I will cherish this opportunity.”

I, Gao, swear to Heaven, I have nothing to do with gambling and drugs.

The Purple Giant Star’s mechanical engineering eyes at the stellar-level once again fell on Gao Gong, now fully confirmed ’General Cybertron’s identity.

Although involved with yellow, he is still one of our own.

The Purple Giant Star pondered:

”The ’Ancient Mechanical Country’ is currently purging external pollution viruses, and I won’t be able to take you to the mechanical depths for an audience anytime soon.”

I don’t wish to go anyway!

Gao Gong secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

The ’Ancient Mechanical Country’ is the core region of the Level 7 Mechanical Civilization, a purely mechanized star system cluster, with likely over a hundred mechanized star systems, surrounded by a Black Hole Great Wall, inside are various giant structure projects from advanced civilizations, each structure taking billions of years to construct.

Its status is roughly equivalent to the ’Fantasy Land’ created in Gao Gong’s previous existence.

Such an opportunity to visit the ’Mechanical Throne’ is an incredible boon for a lower-tier planet host.

But alas, the involvement with yellow bars his way.

Having acquired the depraved habits of carbon-based species, he naturally lost the qualification to ascend within the advancement system of Ancient Mechanical Civilization.

Seeing a hint of regret in the Purple Giant Star’s words, Gao Gong quickly interjected:

”To preserve mechanical purity, until my Spark is extinguished, I will wander the cosmos, clearing all adverse factors for the Mechanical Throne.”

Boss, just let me stay in the peripheral areas, I don’t want to go ashore.

The Purple Giant Star hesitated for a moment and then said:

”I apologize for your inconvenience.”

[Level 5 Mechanical Sovereign, Purple Giant Star’s favorability towards you +1000]

Even managed to get favorability from the mechanical boss known as the hardest to impress.

I’m a moving story of the top ten figures of the Robert Star System!

”While I am being recalled by the ’Mechanical Throne’, you are to patrol the ’abandoned Cyber Test Field’, searching for clues of the ’Primordial Virus’.”

[You have obtained ’Level 4 Ascension Civilization Weapon: Star Destroyer’]

[You triggered the ’Civilization Restoration Mission: Origin of the Supreme’, Tier 3 Linked Task: Investigation of Cyber Test Field (Robert Star System) automatic merge]

[Mission Name: Origin of the Supreme]

Mission Type: Civilization Restoration Mission

Mission Difficulty: Pseudo Ascension Level

Mission Brief 1: The Supreme Being spread an ancient virus named ’Primordial Virus’, aiming to pollute the core ’Ancient Mechanical Country’ of the Level 7 Civilization; an unforeseen variable caused the conspiracy to collapse like dominoes, under the spread of mechanical light, all the dark elements of the universe fled, none wishing to become the target of the Mechanical Throne’s wrath.

Mission Brief 2: Although you are the first instigator of the domino effect, neither the Mechanical Throne nor your superior, Star Suppression: Purple Giant Star, expects you to maintain your luck, search through your channels for news related to the ’Primordial Virus’, this mission is more akin to a reward-style exile, because a lucky but ultimately carbon-based corrupt subordinate cannot enter the glorious Ancient Mechanical Country and become a legion dispatch officer for the Mechanical Throne, but who knows?

Mission Completion: 0%

Mission Reward: Unknown

Note: The deeper you explore, the closer you are to the abyss

Civilization Restoration Mission!!

Though vaguely aware of this mission’s difficulty, Gao Gong still took a breath when it was activated by the system.

Missions starting with the word ’Civilization’ entail difficulty not less than Ascension.

Generally speaking, task difficulty is judged from two aspects.

One is ’Level’: Simple, Normal, Difficult, Nightmare, Hell (Heaven).

The second is ’Tier’: Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3... and even the legendary Tier 9.

But above these tasks, there is actually another measure.

’Civilization-level Tasks’!

Civilization-level tasks are divided into different types —

Civilization Rescue Task, Civilization Restoration Task, Civilization Catastrophe Task

These tasks have one common characteristic.

Unreasonably difficult.

Perhaps there is not the option for ’completion’ at all.

For example, the ’Tier 5 Memory Mother’ Gao Gong encountered in the Cyber Test Field.

In theory, it is simply impossible to complete.

From this perspective, it actually counts as a ’Civilization-level’ task.

But the problem is, the Cyber Test Field is the opposite of civilization, the antonym of order, in this ’Newbie Village’, civilization-related tasks cannot be triggered.

Without civilization, naturally rescue is out of the question, let alone restoration and destruction.

So, although ’Cyber Tide’ reached the standard of Civilization-level task in difficulty, it remains in a semi-activated state, only belonging to ’Planet Task’.

Gao Gong realized this later.

Otherwise, in the Cyber Tide, with its many bug-level waves, it’s unreasonable not to gain any rewards.

Lost big!

And compared to the more easily understood rescue and destruction, ’Civilization Restoration’ is truly hard to understand.

It implies that the path a civilization is supposed to evolve under normal conditions has been disrupted; this disruption will not destroy a civilization but will lead the civilization’s development into a deviation.

Restoration is to revert the civilization back to its original evolutionary path.

A flash of contemplative color slipped through Gao Gong’s eyes, he hasn’t forgotten he’s still acting.

”Honorable Purple Giant Star, I will complete your instructions, raising the Mechanical Throne’s light fire high above the cosmos!”

The Purple Giant Star was very satisfied with Gao Gong’s performance.

Loyal and capable underling, who wouldn’t like it?

Compared to that guy who promised three years, then another three years, then another three years, Gao Gong’s performance is unquestionably satisfactory.

Such a pity that at a young age, he was polluted by the mating ways of carbon-based species,

The Purple Giant Star pondered briefly and before departing lightly tapped once more, Gao Gong was immediately engulfed and submerged by a tide of mechanical parts.

These mechanical parts assembled, transformed, evolved, eventually forming a gigantic mechanical planet.

The next moment, the planet opened its purple engineering eyes.

[You obtained the Star System Leader, Purple Giant Star’s legacy]

[You obtained ’Planet-level Mechanical Transformation’]

...

Gao Gong opened his eyes again, deep in the pupils, a hint of purple light flashed.

The Collector witnessed this scene and also showed a satisfied smile.

Their task was completed, the favor owed to Purple Giant Star offset, it was time to discuss some serious topics.

”General Sir, I have a very serious question for you.”

”Speak.”

”For how much do you intend to sell your Star Destroyer, Sir?”

Gao Gong eyed the other party peculiarly, who in their right mind would sell a Star Destroyer?

”I believe in this universe, there’s nothing that cannot be traded,” Pai Daxing chuckled: ”How about a fleet of a new emerging Level 3 Civilization? The latest Dominator Level Sequence from the Galen Republic, or perhaps a customized Mecha Corps from the Mirta Federation? With this corps, you could easily conquer any resource planet in exploration areas and become the high and mighty planet governor, or possibly ten thousand beauties from different races, Mechanical Race, Tentacle Race, Virtual Diva, all available. I’ve overheard quite a bit during your exchange with Purple Giant Star...”

Gao Gong’s expression grew more peculiar as he listened, good fellow, turns out you’re of the same ilk.

Is this black market boss moonlighting as a broker?

Gao Gong felt a surge of emotion, glanced at the forum’s small group, especially ’Du Gao Technology Gay Group’, ’Du Gao Technology Seed Group’, ’Mechanical Split Star Chicken Rift Group’, these key attention groups.

”Sir Collector, it seems your planet is currently under attack by the Liberation Association?”

”That’s not a big deal,” the Collector said nonchalantly, ”My army will soon take care of those alien scum; given their standards, they can’t enter my real collection space.”

”Oh, really?” Gao Gong pointed to three hooded figures in the sky.

”Who are they?”
