Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

At the end of July, the weather was clear, not a cloud in sight.

Oil City.

After checking the helicopter, Third Uncle looked at Old Bi and the others, who were ready to depart, and shouted at Old Bi:

”Old Bi, see you at the Transfer Station. We’re leaving first.”

After saying this, he clapped his hands, signaling the Jackals to take off.

Jackals glanced down at Xiao Jun, then piloted the helicopter to take off, heading straight towards Xiu Shui.

Below, Old Bi and his team also started leaving Oil City, a convoy with four or five tankers and dozens of trucks fully loaded with oil, driving grandly towards the direction of the helicopter.

After their departure, Oil City instantly felt much emptier.

Xiao Jun watched their retreating figures until they completely disappeared, then he said to everyone: ”Group leaders over here for a meeting, hmm, Zuo Ruxue, you’re with us.”

With them gone, Oil City had less than two hundred people left, and they had to make use of these people to turn Oil City into an impregnable stronghold, absolutely preventing others from taking advantage of the situation.

......

Inside the helicopter.

Ant was bored, watching the scenery below the helicopter. At first, he could see Old Bi’s vehicles following behind, but later, the convoy became more distant.

”Captain, are we going to New City Lithium Battery Company next?” Old Qin asked over the headphone.

Third Uncle inserted the handgun back into his waist and then said, ”Yes, it was discussed yesterday. First, we’ll check out New City Lithium Battery Company, later we’ll wait at the Transfer Station for Old Bi’s team, they should arrive in the afternoon.”

”Alright.” After hearing Third Uncle’s confirmation, Old Qin didn’t ask further and instead covered himself with a blanket, leaning against the seat to rest.

The helicopter was fast, and in less than two hours, they were flying over New City.

Ant and Third Uncle used civilian maps to direct Jackals on the direction.

Without navigation, they couldn’t determine their exact location, so often they had to rely on the ground scenery for positioning.

”Go south. According to the scale, it should be in the suburbs, about 20 kilometers from the city center.” After checking the map, Third Uncle said to Jackals.

Jackals followed the instructions and flew south.

Ten minutes later, Third Uncle used a telescope to look at the ground.

Though located inland, it had still suffered significant damage from the typhoon, the signboard of the lithium battery factory was half torn down.

They didn’t fly directly down; everyone on the helicopter was observing the situation below with telescopes.

Zombies, humans, or any other potential threat.

At least check before landing.

The factory’s main gate was wide open, with a dozen cars parked crookedly, seemingly intended to block the gate, but the blood and marks around these vehicles seemed to tell others that a fierce battle had taken place here.

Below were a few scattered zombies wandering through the empty factory buildings.

After circling around, Third Uncle looked at the center and roof of the factory building.

The building was about ten meters high, and the rooftop was not big, but it could accommodate a helicopter.

The factory’s center was more spacious, making it easier to park the helicopter, but with people or zombies below, it could easily be attacked.

”Land on the top floor of that factory building, get ready to get off the helicopter.” Third Uncle said while checking the ammunition clip.

Everyone got ready to disembark.

Buzz buzz buzz——

They landed the helicopter on the rooftop of the factory building.

After landing, Third Uncle immediately hopped out from the helicopter, steadying himself on the rooftop.

Old Qin and Ant also disembarked.

The three first stood on the top floor to check the surroundings. After examining, Third Uncle whistled to the two, leading them downwards.

Jackals remained by the helicopter, guarding.

This lithium battery factory was quiet, the hallway walls had some blood stains, there were also white wall sections flaking off, and some mold had grown.

Tap tap tap——

Third Uncle and his team tried to reduce the sound of their footsteps, avoiding making too much noise.

The building they descended was likely an office building, mostly consisting of some conference rooms and office chairs inside.

Slowly walking, they reached the first floor where Third Uncle gestured to them to look towards the back.

Ant nodded, then holding a sharp knife, walked towards the first-floor corner.

Suddenly.

Clang!

A gust of wind blew, knocking down a piece of glass that had originally fallen from the window onto the table.

Roar roar roar!

Almost instantly, the entire building seemed to boil, filled with the sound of zombies growling.

Third Uncle waved at the two, signaling them to stay quiet and not move.

The growling sounds continued for a while, then stopped.

Third Uncle gestured to Ant to continue, and only then did Ant start moving.

A large door appeared ahead.

Ant gently pushed open the door, leading to the rear factory.

Unexpectedly, upon opening, a zombie in factory workwear suddenly appeared.

This zombie lunged directly, but Ant had already prepared and swung his knife swiftly.

Splash!

The zombie was directly decapitated, and then Ant stabbed its head with another blow.

While he was handling this zombie, Third Uncle and Old Qin also entered the operations factory, where equipment was neatly arranged, chaotic but orderly.
