I Became the Strongest Villain in One Piece

Chapter 44: SVOP: Chapter 44

Hearing this, Momousagi was at a loss. What kind of person was this? His skin was so thick, and he was shameless.

The next second, she reacted, ”What did you say? You want to join the Shichibukai!?”

She didn’t know much about Ibaraki, only that he was a member of Phantom and had fought with Navy Admiral Akainu on the Sabaody Archipelago.

”What? Can’t I?” Vladimir shrugged, ”That guy Akainu has been brooding over the fact that I made him spit a mouthful of blood and has been trying to cause trouble for me. To be honest, I’m also very annoyed. If I join the Shichibukai, he won’t be able to attack me. What do you think, Miss?”

After a pause, he added, ”Anyway, you in the Navy still have 3 spots. If you count this Sea Knight Jinbe and me, wouldn’t your mission be mostly completed?”

”No, you’re a member of Phantom. Phantom’s Shadow Fiend killed a Celestial Dragon. The World Government’s wanted order for you will continue forever!”

Momousagi shook her head, completely not believing Vladimir’s words.

”What exactly is your purpose?”

”You’re mistaken. Shadow Fiend killed the person. What does it have to do with me? If you have the ability, go and catch Shadow Fiend.” Vladimir rolled his eyes, ”I just want to live quietly. Akainu blocked Sabaody for a week, and he didn’t find a single hair afterward. He’ll definitely come after me again.”

”You people from Phantom also know how to be afraid?” Momousagi found it interesting. Shadow Fiend dared to kill a Celestial Dragon and leave his name. This Ibaraki in front of her was different.

Vladimir was calm and composed, ”If I was afraid, would I have come here to talk to you? Miss, I know you don’t have the right to decide. How about this, you can contact Sengoku and ask for his opinion.”

Saying this, Vladimir paused slightly and smiled, ”As for whether I’m qualified to be a Shichibukai, you can ask Akainu for his thoughts.”

Hearing these words, Momousagi shivered.

She realized that this fierce man could fight the Admiral head-on, and his strength was beyond doubt.

Momousagi didn’t dare to mess around. She didn’t want to conflict with Ibaraki. Her mission was to win over the Shichibukai. If a battle broke out with Ibaraki, maybe the people she brought would be wiped out.

There was no need to feel ashamed about this. Anyway, Admiral Akainu couldn’t catch him, and she was just a Vice Admiral and no match.

”Yeah, yeah, that’s right.” Momousagi comforted herself in her heart. After thinking about it, she said slowly, ”I understand. I’ll report it to the Fleet Admiral. As for the result...”

”He’ll accept it.” Vladimir said firmly, ”Unlike Miss, Sengoku is a smart person. Smart people are very pragmatic. The four Shichibukai you’ve recruited so far, Donquixote Doflamingo, Hawkeye Mihawk, Gekko Moriah, and Crocodile, all have a lot of dark history. Didn’t he accept them all the same? In comparison, I just hit Akainu a little. It’s a small matter.”

Whether or not he could join the Shichibukai, Shadow Fiend killing a Celestial Dragon wasn’t the key. Although this was a problem, it wasn’t unsolvable. The real key was whether his joining was beneficial to the Navy.

As long as Sengoku thought there was a benefit, joining was just a matter of words.

Hearing his words, Momousagi widened her beautiful eyes again, a little incredulous.

”Y-you, how do you know all this!?”

Vladimir chuckled and looked at Jinbe.

Jinbe, the captain of the Fish-Man Pirates, was chivalrous and righteous, known as the ”Sea Knight.”

He was a whale shark fish-man, with a fat body, a thick black beard on his chin, and always wore a kimono embroidered with patterns.

Seeing Vladimir looking over, he also kept looking at the other party.

”Brother Jinbe, if I were you, I would immediately accept the Shichibukai title.” Vladimir said.

”Hmm?” Jinbe was stunned for a moment, not expecting the other party’s first words to be this.

Vladimir chuckled and said, ”Brother Jinbe, do you think Fish-Man Island is safe? There are many pirate crews coming and going here every day. Some pirates come with the idea of catching mermaids, after all, the price of a young mermaid can reach hundreds of millions on the black market.”

While Vladimir was chatting with Jinbe, on the other side, Momousagi quietly withdrew.

She had someone bring a Den Den Mushi and contacted the Navy headquarters.

”Moshi Moshi.”

”Admiral Kizaru, I have something to report to you.”

Momousagi didn’t beat around the bush and directly told about Vladimir’s matter.

Hearing this, Kizaru was stunned for a moment. He never expected that Phantom’s Ibaraki would play like this.

”You stabilize him first, don’t start a conflict. All of you combined are no match for that person. I’ll report to the Fleet Admiral.”

”Yes!”

Momousagi nodded solemnly, and the danger level of Ibaraki in her heart rose to another level. Even Kizaru told her not to act rashly when he heard the name.

”I’ve really run into trouble, but this guy doesn’t seem that fierce. He should be easy to get along with, right...”

...

Navy Headquarters, Marineford.

The top floor of a classical building, the office of the Navy Fleet Admiral.

Sengoku was listening to Kizaru’s report, and after listening, he also looked stunned.

”Ibaraki, that Phantom member who injured Akainu, wants the title of Shichibukai?”

After a long silence, Sengoku couldn’t help but confirm.

”Yes, it seems that the person is on Fish-Man Island. I don’t know when he escaped from the Sabaody Archipelago.” Kizaru said.

”Hmph, wishful thinking.”

Sengoku snorted angrily, ”Their Shadow Fiend killed a Celestial Dragon, and then they want another member to become a Shichibukai?”

This wasn’t the most infuriating thing. What was infuriating was that Ibaraki was just an ordinary member, not even a member. Phantom obviously had no sincerity.

Among the four Shichibukai that the Navy had confirmed so far, each was the leader of a force or a person whose reputation was known throughout the world.

In comparison, Phantom’s Ibaraki was slightly inferior except for his top-notch strength.

”If it was a member of Phantom, I could seriously consider it.”

Sengoku pondered.

The Phantom Pirates were very mysterious, so mysterious that even their intelligence department couldn’t find any clues.

If a member became a Shichibukai, Sengoku would seriously consider it, and the probability of agreeing was very high.

As for the Shadow Fiend killing a Celestial Dragon, this matter could also be handled in another way.

”Reject him.” After thinking for a moment, Sengoku immediately decided, but as soon as the words came out, he changed his mind, ”No, stall him first.”

”Hmm?” Kizaru raised his eyebrows.
