I Became the Strongest Villain in One Piece

Chapter 41: SVOP: Chapter 41

”Buy it out!” Neptune gritted his teeth and said solemnly, ”Shirahoshi’s matter must not be leaked, otherwise it will cause disaster. I hope you in Phantom can keep your promise!”

Saying this, he handed over a second bankbook.

1 billion!

Vladimir couldn’t help but be shocked when he took it.

As expected of the king of Fish-Man Island, he was very rich. Unlike that little girl, the Empress, who had to go out and rob to get 500 million.

”Please rest assured, Phantom won’t tarnish its reputation by violating agreements. The information about the Sea King will never be leaked. Goodbye, Neptune.”

Putting away the money, Vladimir was in a good mood and immediately said goodbye. After a dragon’s roar, he transformed into a sea dragon and flew out with a swoosh, disappearing in the blink of an eye.

Seeing the person leave, Neptune also breathed a sigh of relief. As the king, he actually felt a trace of pressure when standing in front of Vladimir.

The deterrence brought by the Phantom member was greater than he had imagined. You should know that he didn’t feel so passive when he met Shanks.

”I hope Shirahoshi can grow up peacefully...” Neptune sighed and summoned a minister, ”Someone, lock him up in the dungeon!”

...

Catching Vander Decken IX and getting a 300 million reward, buying out the intelligence, and another 1 billion.

In one morning, Vladimir had obtained a huge sum of 1.3 billion, which was more terrifying than robbing the Heavenly Tribute.

”With this money, I can buy two or three Devil Fruits, but the question is, where to buy them...”

Vladimir first dived into the sea and then transformed back into Ibaraki, returning to the hotel.

Along the way, he was considering this question.

”Buying them at an auction like last time was just luck. It was a coincidence. I need a stable source.”

It was best to have a long-term seller.

Vladimir thought carefully, and there were only three methods.

The first was to buy them from the Navy, but that was definitely impossible and was ruled out. Moreover, the other party wouldn’t sell them.

The second was to ask Shanks. As one of the Four Emperors, he had a lot of power in the New World, and he should be able to handle buying Devil Fruits.

The third was to find the Shichibukai ”Doflamingo.” This person had connections on both the white and black sides, had an official background, and had dark forces. His underground arms business was all over the world, and he could definitely buy Devil Fruits from him.

”The first one is completely impossible, the second one probably has to wait, and the third one is the fastest.”

Vladimir pondered for a moment and immediately decided to carry out the second and third methods at the same time.

”I have to go see Shanks first.”

When night fell, Vladimir transformed into Shadow Fiend and once again snuck into Ryugu Palace.

This time, he wasn’t looking for Neptune, but for the Four Emperors Shanks.

As soon as he entered the room, Shanks, who was sitting at the table drinking wine, had a sharp look in his eyes.

”Who is it?”

”As expected of the Four Emperors, your perception is amazing.”

Vladimir smiled slightly and generously revealed his figure.

Seeing the materialized Shadow Fiend, Shanks couldn’t help but be stunned, ”Shadow Fiend, the Phantom Pirates?”

”Shadow Fiend, the Phantom Pirates?”

Looking at the dark figure that suddenly appeared in his room, Shanks couldn’t help but blurt out.

The next moment, he suddenly got up and punched towards Vladimir.

”Do you want to test me?”

Vladimir’s face was as usual, very calm. He could see that this punch had no malice and didn’t use much strength...

The punch hit Shadow Fiend’s chest, but Shanks didn’t feel like he had hit anything solid. It was as if he was punching air.

”Logia type?”

Shanks thought to himself that it was as expected. The next moment, his eyes narrowed, his right arm retracted, and then Armament Haki covered his palm. He attacked Vladimir again.

However, even so, this palm still had no effect.

”How is this possible...!”

Seeing this scene, Shanks looked shocked and silently retracted his right hand, looking at Vladimir with suspicion, ”Who exactly are you?”

”I’m Shadow Fiend, a member of Phantom, just a errand boy.”

”Not a Logia type?”

”What made you have the illusion that I’m a Logia type ability user?” Vladimir’s tone was calm, ”I’ve never said to the outside world that I’m an ability user.”

”No wonder the Navy can’t catch you.”

Shanks was silent. Even Armament Haki couldn’t hit the other party. It was difficult to imagine what in the world could hurt this person. It was so difficult to even hurt him, let alone catch him.

”The world is so big, there are all kinds of strange things.” He said with emotion, and then smiled, ”You came to me late at night. What’s the matter? I just saw your member Sea Dragon during the day. At that time, I thought that there might be other people on Fish-Man Island.”

”I came to you because of Ibaraki. These days, Ibaraki has been taken care of by you.”

Vladimir first covered for his other clone, ”This time, let’s just say that Phantom owes you a favor.”

”You guys are very sentimental.” Shanks laughed heartily, ”I thought that a mysterious pirate crew like yours would be full of heinous people.”

Vladimir didn’t comment on this, just chuckled and said, ”The second thing is that I want to ask you for a favor.”

”Even Shadow Fiend, who can easily sneak into the Holy Land, has something he can’t handle?” Shanks was a little curious and didn’t rush to agree.

He didn’t have much of a relationship with Phantom. He only helped Ibaraki because of Rayleigh. It was the first time he had met Shadow Fiend, so he wouldn’t agree easily.

”We need Devil Fruits and want to buy them from your channels.” Vladimir said, ”It doesn’t matter whether it’s a Zoan type, a Paramecia type, or a rare Logia type, as long as it’s a Devil Fruit.”

After a pause, he added, ”We need a lot. Accordingly, we will also give a reward.”

Hearing this, Shanks became even more curious. After thinking about it for a moment, he said in shock, ”You guys aren’t planning to build an ability user army, are you?”

”Yes.” Vladimir nodded. Anyway, if the other party wanted to think that way, that would be for the best. It would save him from making up other reasons.
