I Became the Strongest Villain in One Piece

Chapter 24: SVOP: Chapter 24

The bald man nodded repeatedly, indicating that he understood.

At this time, the hall dimmed, and then, two spotlights hit the stage. Afterward, a young auctioneer wearing fancy clothes walked to the front of the stage, waving a gavel.

”Welcome to the elites of the world, to participate in this grand rare treasure auction!”.

”Welcome, everyone, to participate in this rare treasure auction. I am the auctioneer, Rabi!”

The young man, who called himself Rabi, was dressed flamboyantly, in red, yellow, blue, and green, with a pair of black men’s high heels, looking quite strange.

Hearing his opening remarks, many people let out a burst of chuckles.

”Stop talking nonsense and start quickly.”

”This gentleman is very impatient.”

Rabi had a calm smile on his face, ”However, since everyone doesn’t object, then the entertainment program will be skipped and we’ll start directly.”

After a pause, he waved his hand, pointing to the side of the stage, ”The first item is a young and beautiful female mermaid!”

At this time, a female staff member wearing a mask pushed a large bathtub onto the center of the stage.

The fish tank was circular, with an opening at the top, and a blonde female mermaid was staying inside.

The so-called mermaid was one whose upper body was human and whose part below the waist was a fishtail.

This female mermaid looked very young, and at the moment, her head was lying on the fish tank, and her innocent eyes contained a few traces of fear.

”Although I knew there would definitely be human trafficking, I didn’t expect to have the opportunity to see a mermaid.”

Thinking to himself, Vladimir couldn’t help but take a few more glances.

At this time, the auctioneer Rabi began the product introduction: ”I don’t need to say more about the origin of this product, right? Mermaids have always been scarce commodities. Even in our auction house, there are not many times a year. Therefore, the starting price of this product is 50 million Berries, and each increase must not be less than 1 million!”

As soon as the voice fell, a wealthy man on the second floor immediately made a bid.

”60 million!”

But this number did not stay for three seconds, and then a second voice sounded.

”65 million!”

”70 million!”

The price soared all the way, with no tendency to stop.

The members of the Battle Axe Pirates were drooling, the price of a mermaid was over 100 million, it seemed to be a good way to get rich?

”Um, sir, what do you think?” The bald man cast an inquiring look at Vladimir, who was sitting behind him.

”No need.”

Vladimir said calmly.

Soon, the auction about the mermaid entered the end.

”130 million!”

”132 million!”

”140 million!”

When the voice of 140 million sounded, the hall suddenly fell into silence.

The auctioneer’s eyes swept over the crowd, and after thinking about it, he immediately said, ”It seems that there is no higher price, 140 million once, twice... three times! Congratulations to this gentleman, for winning the ownership of this mermaid!”

The buyer was a wealthy man on the second floor. Vladimir didn’t know him and was too lazy to pay attention.

This person seemed very proud to have bought the mermaid.

”A bunch of idiots, do you think I’m buying it to look at?” This person thought proudly, ”Sending this mermaid to the Celestial Dragons, the benefits I get will be far more than 140 million!”

No one cared about his thoughts, and the auction continued.

Next, one luxurious commodity after another was continuously carried out.

But Vladimir had no interest in these and never spoke.

After about an hour and a half, the auction was coming to an end.

At this time, in order to stir up the atmosphere, the auctioneer finally took out Vladimir’s target.

”Next, we will auction a Devil Fruit!”

As soon as these words came out, there was a commotion at the scene. Whether it was the guests on the first floor or the pirates on the second floor, they were all very interested. It seemed that many people had come for this.

”Devil Fruit, I don’t need to explain more. It’s the treasure of the sea. Although after eating it, you will become a landlubber, you will also gain superhuman abilities. Like the Four Emperors of the New World, Whitebeard, he is a Paramecia Devil Fruit, the user of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit!”

In the introduction, the thing was pushed up.

Vladimir perked up and looked over.

He saw a Devil Fruit, with a purple body, was placed in crystal glass. The surface of the fruit had a strange spiral pattern, and its shape was like a large orange.

”This thing is mine! Whoever dares to compete with me, don’t blame me for being rude!”

Suddenly, in a certain place on the second floor, a fierce voice sounded.

Many people looked over and their faces changed slightly.

”That person is the captain of the Evil Shark Pirates, with a bounty of 130 million!”

”It is rumored that this person is very violent and has cruelly murdered Navy soldiers.”

”This time he’s aiming for the Devil Fruit... is he going to eat it himself?”

Many rustling discussions sounded continuously.

Seeing this, the auctioneer narrowed his eyes, ”This captain, please follow the rules. You have to bear the consequences for causing trouble at the auction.”

After a pause, he didn’t seem to plan to say more and said directly, ”Please rest assured, everyone, as long as you are inside the auction venue, the rules will be guaranteed not to be broken. Now, regarding the auction of this Devil Fruit, the starting price is 100 million, and each increase must not be less than 10 million. The auction begins!”

”110 million!”

Almost at the moment it started, the Evil Shark Pirates immediately reported a price. After speaking, his fierce eyes kept sweeping over, issuing a series of warnings.

Many VIPs on the second floor were intimidated by his ferocity and immediately chose to watch.
