Pokemon: Reborn As Ash, I'll Conquer Every League

Chapter 399: Chapter 399: Bomba Island!

Chapter 399: Bomba Island!

After getting a definitive answer from his elder kin, the wild Rayquaza didn’t ask any more questions and directly asked Ash to capture him.

Before Ash captured him into a Master Ball, he thoughtfully applied a Natural Power buff to heal him.

Witnessing this, the wild Rayquaza became even more determined to follow Ash.

After dealing with Rayquaza, handling the remaining two wild Deoxys was much simpler.

Under the persuasive talk of Ash’s Deoxys, the two Deoxys, one purple and one green, were secretly captured by May and Brock respectively.

There was no other way; the commotion caused by Rayquaza and Deoxys in Larousse City was simply too great. If Ash hadn’t handled it quickly, the Hoenn region’s Pokémon League would likely have called Steven.

It’s worth mentioning that before the green Deoxys was captured by Brock, it specifically enlightened Tory Lund, allowing him to completely resolve his inner turmoil, and also, with everyone witnessing, he received two mischievous Plusle and Minun.

After a few days of sightseeing in Larousse City, Ash’s group continued their journey, heading towards Mossdeep City.

However, they encountered a small accident while taking a direct boat to Mossdeep City.

”What? Isn’t this boat a direct communication vessel to Mossdeep Island?”

May looked at the boat staff with a shocked expression.

”Miss, the communication vessel to Mossdeep Island departed half an hour ago. This is the boat to Bamba Island.”

Upon hearing this, Brock quickly took out his pokémon navigator to plan the fastest transfer route.

After confirming that there was a transfer station on an island near Bamba Island, Ash’s group could only make the best of it, treating the trip as a sightseeing tour.

Bamba Island is a very ordinary small island, with no towns or shops. The only populated place on the island is a Pokemon Referee Academy.

As soon as the group disembarked, they saw the second forms of three First Generation Starters from the Kanto region: Ivysaur, Charmeleon, and Wartortle!

Each of these three Pokemon carried a box of items on their backs.

”Wow, I didn’t expect there to be such a small Venusaur!”

”Uh... May, that’s an Ivysaur!”

”Ah? Oh, this Charmander looks so big and majestic!”

”Hmm... Is there a possibility it’s called Charmeleon?”

”Heh... hehe...” May chuckled awkwardly, but then she was attracted by the Wartortle. ”That Squirtle’s tail is so unique, and its color and appearance are different from normal!”

”That’s a Wartortle! Those three are the second forms of the First Generation Starters from the Kanto region. May, your Pokemon knowledge needs improvement!” Ash said, somewhat speechless.

Even though those three weren’t Hoenn’s First Generation Starters, not recognizing a single one was just ridiculous!

”Ah, is that so?”

The awkwardness on May’s face deepened.

”Hey, wait for me!”

At this moment, a young man ran past, holding three boxes.

But because the boxes obstructed his view, the young man slipped and fell flat on his face.

”Hey, are you alright?”

Ash’s group gathered around.

”I’m fine, I just fell...” The young man chuckled.

The three Pokemon heard the sound, stopped simultaneously, and turned to look, their eyes full of concern.

”It’s fine, I’m already used to it!” The young man comforted them.

”Oh, right, my name is Jimmy. Are you all here to enroll in the Pokemon Referee Academy?”

”Pokemon Referee Academy?”

Ash’s group looked at Jimmy in confusion.

”Uh, we’re not here to enroll. We just took the wrong boat and accidentally ended up here,” Ash explained.

”Oh, I’m sorry. Because there’s only one Pokemon Referee Academy on this island, people who come here usually do so to enroll. I saw that you are all very young and look like Trainers, so I thought you were here to study and advance,” Jimmy said.

After a brief introduction, Ash’s group became quite interested in the Pokemon Referee Academy.

So, led by Jimmy, the group entered the academy.

As soon as they entered the school, they saw a young female teacher with blue hair giving a lesson to students on the playground.

”Teacher Serena, I’ve brought the supplies back!” Jimmy called out. (PS: This is a character with the same name as in the original work)

”Thank you for your hard work, Jimmy. Are these new students?”

The teacher named Serena looked at Ash’s group with curiosity.

”This is Ash and his companions. They apparently took the wrong boat and accidentally ended up here,” Jimmy explained.

”We’re actually heading to the Mossdeep Gym for a Gym challenge,” Ash added.

”Oh, so you all are Pokemon Trainers? You’ve come at a good time. Could I trouble you to help us with a lesson?”

Before Serena could even finish what she was going to say, Brock flashed in front of her, responding with a lecherous expression:

”My name is Brock, and I would be delighted to help you, beautiful lady! Of course...”

Seeing this, Jirachi immediately realized it was time to act, stepped forward, grabbed Brock’s collar with a small hand, lifted him, and tossed him. Brock was instantly flung onto a tree branch not far away, hanging there.

”You despicable Jirachi!”

Brock glared fiercely at Jirachi’s retreating back.

He had already made Deoxys prepare for defense, just waiting for Jirachi to use teleport on him so he could counterattack.

But Jirachi didn’t play by the rules this time and caught him completely off guard.

So irritating!

Ash was also quite surprised by Jirachi’s change in method of stopping Brock.

After understanding Serena’s request, Ash didn’t think much and readily agreed.

Nothing else, simply because her request was to have a double battle in front of a group of future referees.

And the opponent was Brock, who wanted to show off.

And the person Serena designated as the referee was none other than Jimmy.

However, Jimmy himself seemed to lack confidence in Serena’s designation.

But under everyone’s gaze, Jimmy could only brace himself and stand in the referee’s position.

”Now beginning is the double battle between Ash and Brock...”

After Jimmy announced the battle rules, Brock was the first to send out his Pokemon, saying, ”Go, Mudkip, and Lotad!”

”I choose you, Solrock, Lunatone!”
