Chapter 396: The Visitor from the Sky (4)

Just as Ash and his group were talking.

Another wild Deoxys had also arrived from the North Pole.

This Deoxys stood on top of the tallest building in Larousse City, releasing a purple aurora used for communication.

The sudden, strange phenomenon caused many people in Larousse City to stop and watch.

The aurora phenomenon lasted less than twenty seconds before disappearing.

”Deoxys, what message is that guy trying to convey?” Ash asked his Deoxys.

Deoxys replied, ”It is looking for its companion.”

”Is it hostile?” Ash asked again.

Deoxys shook its head.

Determining that there was no immediate hostility, Ash didn’t plan to pay it much mind just yet.

After all, the real big fish hadn’t appeared yet.

Who would ever complain about having too many top-tier legendary Pokemon like Rayquaza?

Besides, Ash only had one Shinny one on hand, and he was still missing a normal Shinny ’Caterpie’.

”Ash, are we really not going to do anything about that Deoxys?” May asked in a low voice.

Ash waved his hand and replied, ”It’s just here to find its companion, but the one in the lab hasn’t recovered yet. Taking it there rashly would inevitably lead to unnecessary misunderstandings.”

Brock agreed, ”Ash is right. The fact that this Deoxys could come all the way here to find its companion proves how much it values its companion. Being heavily injured and entering a semi-dormant state is indeed very easy to misunderstand.”

After chatting with Ms. Yuko and Tory Lund for a while, the group left the botanical garden to continue exploring Larousse City.

After all, if they didn’t explore now, there wouldn’t be anything left to explore after the legendary Pokemon battle.

At dusk.

On a deserted street.

The wild Deoxys had been searching for most of the day without any results. It hovered over a clock and scanned the fountain located directly below, sandwiched between two elevators.

The electromagnetic field generated by the elevators directly interfered with its scanning ability. In a fit of anger, this Deoxys didn’t hesitate to use Psychic.

The bird Pokemon that had come to the fountain to drink water were sent scrambling in a panic by its Psychic attack.

As night fell, the wild Deoxys returned to the top of the tallest tower in Larousse City, releasing the signaling aurora to wait for a response from its companion.

In the backyard of the Pokémon Center.

Brock looked up at the aurora in the sky and wondered, ”Is that guy getting desperate? It’s here again.”

”Maybe it is desperate. By the way, May, Brock, do you want to catch a Deoxys?” Ash suddenly asked.

”Eh, catch a Deoxys?” May looked at Ash in surprise. ”Ash, you’re not joking, are you?”

”I’m serious. If you want to catch one, I’ll have my Deoxys act as a mediator.”

Ash was quite confident that he could persuade those two Deoxys.

The Deoxys Family traveled through space by attaching themselves to comets or asteroids; not only were they unable to move, but they also had to endure the extreme environments of space. ℯ

If they stayed, they would have food, drinks, and a home. If they still wanted to leave after that comparison, Ash could only say they were stupid and ignorant.

”If you’re confident, Ash, I have no problem with it.”

Brock trusted Ash implicitly.

Of course, what tempted Brock the most was that Deoxys’s attribute was Psychic-type, so... heh heh heh...

”I don’t mind if it’s possible, but isn’t one of those two Deoxys very close to Tory Lund?” May said.

”They’re just friends, it’s nothing important.”

Although there were more than just these two Deoxys, and there would be opportunities to encounter wild ones later, if he could take them now, it was impossible to leave them behind.

There were also struggles within the Pokémon League. Dr. Lund alone couldn’t protect a Pokemon like Deoxys, and plus, Tory Lund was not old enough to become a Pokemon Trainer, making the chances even slimmer.

”Alright then!”

Since it had come to this, May didn’t want to refuse anymore.

”Strange, logically speaking, this aurora shouldn’t appear in Larousse City, and the color of this aurora is also very strange.”

At this moment, Hitomi, whom Ash and the others had met during the day, walked over holding a computer. Behind her were Aaron, Jiang Tai, and the other two.

”Ms. Hitomi~~”

Brock had another episode and prepared to crowd around Hitomi.

Seeing this, Jirachi very readily bestowed a Teleport upon Brock.

Sent to the fountain downstairs, Brock said with a face of despair, ”Darn Teleport! Jirachi, you just wait...”

May pretended to be curious and asked, ”Ms. Hitomi, did you discover something?”

”Nothing, I just simply feel that this phenomenon is unreasonable. Auroras should appear at the North and South Poles.”

Hitomi was also very puzzled.

”Ash, how about we have a 3v3 battle tomorrow?” Aaron walked over and said to Ash.

”If conditions permit, that’s not a problem.”

Ash didn’t rush to refuse; after all, the other party was just a punching bag for experience that he could handle as he pleased.

Seeing that Aaron had successfully challenged him, Jiang Tai also looked at May and asked, ”May, please have a battle with me tomorrow too!”

May said with some resistance, ”Um... how about we forget it.”

”Uh...”

Hearing this, Jiang Tai’s heart shattered.

Just as they were about to leave, Tory Lund appeared carrying a food box.

”Tory Lund, why are you here?” Ash looked at him in confusion.

”This was made by Ms. Yuko, she wants to invite everyone to eat.”

Tory Lund opened the food box in his hand, and inside was a full box of cookies shaped like various Pokemon.

”I see, then everyone come out!”

Ash released some of his Pokemon.

The others also released the Pokemon they were carrying.

The Team Rocket Trio, who had been tailing them, had snuck into the city via the waterway using the Magikarp submarine and therefore had not obtained a temporary pass. With money but nowhere to spend it, they could only watch with envy as Ash and the others enjoyed the food.

”Darn it, the Ash is eating so well!” Jessie said with some anger.

”Can’t be helped, who told us to be undocumented residents in this city, Meowth.”

Meowth said weakly.

”How about we go get a temporary pass?” James suggested.

Jessie frowned slightly and said sternly, ”What nonsense are you talking about? A pass requires reading detailed information. What if the cops find out about our whereabouts?”

”James, I support Jessie this time. Let’s just watch first, wait for the Ash and the others...”

Meowth was about to say something when he saw a green figure approaching rapidly.

”That is... Sceptile!”

”Sceptile?”

Jessie and James swallowed their saliva and slowly turned to look.

”Chamo.” (This is from Ash for you.)

Sceptile threw some food to the Team Rocket Trio and left.

James couldn’t believe his eyes. ”This is... for us?!”

”That Ash...”

Meowth, who understood what Sceptile said, was moved for a split second.

But this momentary touch was quickly dispelled by the ravenous Jessie and James. ℴ

”Darn it, leave some for me, you two, Meowth!”

Meowth’s claws popped out, and he went on a crazy Fury Swipes spree on both of them.

”That hurts, you know! And my face is a female actress’s life, Meowth!!”

”Exactly, my handsome face!”

Jessie and James unleashed a double-team Close Combat on Meowth.
