Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 989: Chapter 988: First Encounter in Their Youthful Years [1]

They had known each other for six years, giving each other the best and most hazy years of their youth, including countless firsts.

The first kiss, the first time holding hands, the first time being intimate....

The words of Jose Floyd struck at Nicole’s heart, reminding her of the scene when they had just had hotpot.

During their five years together, no matter how busy he was, he never missed being by her side on New Year’s Eve, always saying ’Happy New Year’ to her and presenting her with a gift.

Today is the last day of the sixth year, he also had dinner with her and prepared a gift.

Nicole’s eyes grew deep, her heart churned with emotions, so much she wanted to say, but in the end, she gently murmured, ”After the New Year, I’m getting engaged. Jose Floyd, everything between us was fake, it’s time to wake up. I’m no longer Nicole, and you don’t need to be that ’Floyd.’”

After finishing her words, Nicole reached out to open the car door, but someone grabbed her wrist.

The moment their hands touched, Nicole felt a chill approaching, spreading on her wrist.

”You’re asking for trouble! Don’t force me to destroy you!” Jose Floyd’s voice was cold, devoid of any warmth.

”Before I met you, you had already destroyed my entire life!” Nicole’s eyes shot a cold glance at Jose Floyd. ”You are a murderer! You killed the most important person in my life! Jose Floyd, I only approached you for revenge, my heart is only filled with vengeance! Do you know how happy I would be if he wasn’t killed by you? If not for revenge, I wouldn’t have gone near you, nor would I have endured the hatred to stay by your side as your plaything!!”

After finishing her words, Nicole flung off Jose Floyd’s hand and left.

”As long as I’m alive, don’t think about marrying anyone else!” Jose Floyd shouted coldly at Nicole’s retreating figure.

Nicole’s footsteps halted; she didn’t turn back. Her voice was equally cold and suffocating, ”Even in this lifetime, I will not forgive you, even if it means death.”

Nicole’s retreating figure was cold, devoid of any emotion.

Jose Floyd’s fingers on the steering wheel were somewhat pale, his thin lips pressed into a cruel arc, expressing coldness as he spoke word by word to Nicole’s back, ”You will regret it. Nicole, my patience is all but gone; you brought this upon yourself! You’ll pay the price for betraying me, Nicole!”

As Jose Floyd’s words finished, he stepped on the gas, and the car swiftly drove off.

The snow the wheels rolled over lay in chaos, and Jose Floyd’s speed quickly bore him out of Nicole’s sight.

Nicole’s fingers clenched tightly as she stood in the snow, her eyes a bit red. She lifted her gaze to the dazzling fireworks in the sky, hoarsely murmuring, ”Wade, you’ve been gone for over six years, such a long time.”

She would never forget what happened during the rainy season of her 17th year, altering the course of her life, losing everything.

Nicole looked at the sky, her eyes slightly moist, her vision gradually blurred, recalling faintly of that rainy 17th-year season she dared not revisit.

————Memory Divider————

That year, Nicole was 17, living in a Southriver Village with her mother Niki and her twin brother Wade.

From a young age, Nicole knew that the reason she and her brother took their mother’s surname was because they had no father. Their mother never mentioned a father to them, nor had they ever seen him.

Nicole never felt unfortunate not having a father. Her mother was busy working to support her and her brother Wade, so she grew up inseparably close to her brother.
