Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 130: Chapter 130: Many years later, the one by your side is not me...

The rival Virtue High School also selected two students to film a promotional video, which turned out exceptionally well. Scenic Hill planned to imitate this to compete with them.

The Scenic Hill school beauty contest was scheduled for this afternoon, and the school’s teachers and students would vote to choose the school beauty.

Ariel Morris looked bewildered when she received the notice from the student council.

The student council member Simon Cox, who came to notify her, teased her with a mischievous smile, ”Don’t be nervous, sis-in-law! We’ll all support you! Go for it!”

”...” Ariel’s face flushed a bit as she quietly replied, ”What are you talking about, senior?”

Simon laughed, ”Sis-in-law, in pursuing love, you’re a heroine who doesn’t yield to any man! What’s there to be shy about? Look how you’ve won over our president! Don’t be modest!”

Ariel shyly lowered her head and bit her lip, ”But I really don’t have any presentable talents.”

If Ariel Morris had any strength—it was probably her stainless-steel heart that relentlessly chased after her male idol, right?

Ariel sighed inwardly and reluctantly filled in the competition’s talent section: Singing the song [Later].

At the school beauty contest in the afternoon, the entire playground was filled with Scenic Hill students and many spectators from other schools, drawn by the name. The atmosphere was buzzing and lively.

Evalian Chapman from the school broadcast was the emcee, hosting the beauty contest.

Each class selected their class beauty to perform talents one by one. There were folk dances, violin performances, and performances that involved singing and playing instruments. Among them, the most popular and the crowd favorite was the second grade, third-class Valeria Johnson, with her energetic singing and dancing performance.

Valeria, full of passion and vitality in her dance, gave a contemptuous and arrogant look to Ariel Morris as she stepped off the stage. The clear determination in Valeria’s eyes made Ariel’s gaze drop helplessly.

She didn’t know anything—wouldn’t she just embarrass herself by going on stage? Could she drop out of the contest?

While she was distracted, calculating the possibility, a figure quietly moved toward her.

”What’s got you so deep in thought? You’ll be going on stage soon—make sure to give a good performance.” A gentle voice suddenly rang in her ear, startling the absent-minded Ariel.

She raised her eyes to look at the person in front of her, and when her eyes reflected the cool and indifferent perfect features, her gaze flickered, and her fingertips slightly tightened.

”Arlo Seys...” she softly called, looking at the familiar face in front of her. But when she said the name ’Arlo,’ there was a slight, unnatural tension.

”Hmm.” Arlo, unaware of her unease, returned a gentle smile.

Ariel lowered her gaze and spoke in a slightly subdued voice, ”What if I can’t do anything well? Is it true that whoever wins gets to shoot the Scenic Hill promotional video with you?”

Arlo chuckled lightly, ”You were just preoccupied with this? Then make sure to win the school beauty title, so we can shoot together. Years later, when we’re old and look back at this promotional video, it’ll be a sweet memory. This is Scenic Hill High School, our alma mater, a testament to the youthful years we’ve spent together. Ariel, I really want to shoot with you. I also really want to capture our youthful time in the camera lens.”

Ariel’s heart suddenly felt heavy, as Arlo’s inadvertent words, ’Years later, when we’re old and look back at this promotional video, it’ll be a sweet memory,’ made her inexplicably sad.

His identity, the plea from his parents, were dilemmas weighing on her decisions.

She looked at him, her voice slightly heavy, ”Arlo—if, years later, the person by your side isn’t me...”
