Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 116: Chapter 116: Liking you is my own stubbornness, you do as you please...

Arlo Seys gently murmured a sound of acknowledgment then asked, ”You said you had something to do and couldn’t come to tutoring today, was it because they wanted to pick on you after school?”

Ariel Morris paused her hand that was applying the ointment, her eyes slightly lowered, and nodded her head.

Arlo Seys’s expression and tone both darkened a bit, ”Why didn’t you tell me?”

If he hadn’t just happened to want to deliver the notes to her and followed her, what would have happened? How could a girl like her fend off five boys?

Ariel kept her head down and stayed silent, her fingers rubbing the ointment evenly on Arlo Seys’s cheek.

Arlo Seys’s gaze was sharp and questioning as he looked directly at Ariel Morris, ”Ariel Morris, don’t you have a brain? Can you handle five boys by yourself?”

”Don’t you have my number? Why didn’t you explain in your message why you weren’t coming to tutoring?”

This time he fortunately stumbled upon her situation, but if something like this happens again, who could save her?! Thinking about this, a fiery frustration gradually rose in Arlo’s heart, yet he couldn’t find an outlet to let it out, holding it in his heart, leaving him heart restless, causing his tone to carry an edge of fiery anger.

Only after Arlo’s harsh questioning did Ariel Morris slowly lift her eyes, her fingertips paused on his cheek, looking at him, she spoke each word with a soft, firm tone: ”Arlo Seys, between us—aren’t lovers, what identity should I use to ask you for help to solve my troubles? You don’t like me, and I’m not your girlfriend, am I? So, I ask, what face should I use to get you to help me?”

Arlo was choked by her words, and when he spoke again, his voice was somewhat somber, ”If you’re embarrassed to ask me for help, then what about Dawn? You’re Brother Dawn’s god-sister, you can totally tell Dawn.”

As long as Dawn knew, he would surely tell him.

Ariel Morris packed up the ointment, chuckling lightly, ”I don’t want to trouble Brother Dawn, recognizing me as his god-sister must also give Brother Dawn quite a headache.”

Arlo’s eyes turned to her and he blurted out, ”Dawn really likes you, he truly takes you as a sister! If you go to him, it’s because you trust him, in this way he would only feel that you really take him as a brother, and he will unhesitatingly solve your troubles! On the contrary, if you worry about troubling him and don’t want to tell him about your problems, when he finds out, he will only feel that you don’t take him as a brother!”

”Then Arlo Seys—what about you? If I seek you to solve my problems, what do you take me for in your heart?” Ariel Morris stared straight into Arlo’s eyes, not a bit retreating.

Arlo Seys’s fingertips stiffened for a moment, he looked at Ariel, pressed his thin lips together, and faintly said, ”Ariel Morris, I thought after knowing each other for so long, you would at least consider me a friend.”

If a friend was in trouble, Arlo would certainly step in to help.

Ariel lightly smiled, like a flower blooming, purely beautiful. She looked back at Arlo Seys, ”I never intended to take you as a friend—” Ariel paused, then word by word, exceptionally clear, she spoke: ”Because, from beginning to end, I’ve considered you the love of my life to hold hands with forever. Arlo Seys, I, Ariel Morris, am stubborn by nature, once I set my mind on something, it’s for a lifetime, I won’t give up easily. If you won’t accept and love me, then I’ll persist until you do.”

”Arlo Seys, life is so long, I’ve committed this life to entangle with you!”

”Even if years from now, you get married, I’ll still chase you to your wedding! Don’t think I’m joking, I really will run to crash the wedding and snatch you from someone else’s hands!”

”Arlo Seys, liking you is my own stubbornness, feel free. If you like me, that would be the most beautiful ending, if you don’t, it still won’t stop me from liking you.”

Her words, each and every one, directly echoed in his heart, leaving an indelible mark on Arlo Seys’s heart.
