Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 108: Chapter 108: The youthful Arlo Seys changed his dream...

”Exactly! Why am I so efficient at my work? I can’t afford to offend these two big shots! Better to send them away quickly! The Seys Family! That’s the Seys Family, even if our director came, he’d have to personally serve them tea, let alone me as the chief interrogator, dare I delay?”

————————

After this, Ariel Morris and Arlo Seys continued their English study sessions at the juice bar as usual, and their relationship became increasingly closer, interacting more naturally.

In the past, it was always Ariel trying every way to get familiar, lingering in front of Arlo Seys, while Arlo was indifferent and gave no reaction. But now, when they happened to meet on campus, Ariel would call out Arlo’s name with a charming smile, and Arlo would always respond with a faint smile.

In the library, whenever Arlo Seys walked in with his textbooks looking for a seat, a melodious voice would always ring out. Arlo would look up and always see Ariel Morris waving with a warm smile, indicating for him, ”Hey, Arlo, sit here.”

Arlo would nod lightly and, under the surprised gazes of everyone in the library, walk unhesitatingly to the seat Ariel had saved for him. Hence, wherever Ariel and Arlo walked across campus, you could hear the sound of young hearts breaking into pieces everywhere.

Their interactions led to rumors of them dating spreading throughout Scenic Hill, to the point where everyone knew!

At night, at the Seys house.

Arlo Seys and his friends Dawn Sutherland and Nico Haynes sat on the grass each holding a can of beer, enjoying the autumn moon.

The talkative Nico Haynes took a sip of beer and sighed: ”Ah, just over a year until the university entrance exams, have you guys decided which university you’re applying to?”

Dawn Sutherland smiled gently, ”As long as I’m with you guys, it doesn’t matter where.”

Nico Haynes chimed in: ”Right! The three of us must get into the same place, and check out the college seniors together!”

Dawn Sutherland: ”You’re thinking only about girls. Can you get into the universities we’re applying to?”

Nico Haynes scoffed: ”These days, besides hard work and hitting the books, there’s another shortcut called—using connections!”

Dawn Sutherland teased: ”Yeah, sure, our Third Young Master Haynes can use connections, how glorious!”

Nico Haynes snorted: ”I’d be an idiot not to use connections if I have them, wouldn’t I?”

Dawn Sutherland chuckled lightly, his gaze passing over Arlo, who was lost in thought, lying on the grass looking at the stars, ”Arlo, what are you thinking?”

Arlo Seys pressed his lips a little and spoke softly: ”I’m thinking about what to do after graduation. Dawn, Nico, I want to start my own business while I’m in college.”

Dawn Sutherland and Nico Haynes looked at him in surprise, ”Boss Seys, you’re not planning to take over Uncle Seys’ role? The Seys Family is renowned in politics, yet you plan to start your own business, will Uncle Seys allow it?”

Arlo Seys shook his head, ”I won’t go into politics; I don’t want my life to be arranged. I want to carve out my own path through hard work.”

Dawn Sutherland lay down beside him, looking up at the stars together, ”Arlo, why the sudden change in your future plans? You weren’t like this before; you used to follow Uncle Seys’ plans without question. You know he won’t agree to you switching from politics to business! After all, the Seys Family has worked hard for years to achieve their current prominent status in politics. You’re the only heir of the Seys Family; if you shift to business, it would mean your family’s political influence would gradually diminish.”

Arlo Seys’s deep eyes were calm as the sea, his voice low, ”I know, but I have the confidence to make a name for myself in the business world! I don’t want to use the achievements my grandfather and father have worked hard for to gain my own glory! That would make me feel like I’m only grown because of my forefathers’ brilliance! I want, through my own efforts, to provide a stable and worry-free future for my family and those I care about...”
