Chapter 121: Chapter 121: Young Master Seys Cherishes Ariel in His Heart

-----

After Ariel Morris and Arlo Seys established their relationship, the two were sweet and lovey-dovey, spreading dog food everywhere they went. The singles at Scenic Hill were both envious and heartbroken, feeling like their single hearts were being tortured.

Scenic Hill High School was quite democratic, leaving everything to the student council. When it came to students dating, the teachers would turn a blind eye and wouldn’t interfere too much.

As Ariel Morris was packing her bag after school, a classmate rushed over anxiously, shouting at her, ”Ariel Morris, the Scenic Hill trio got into a fight with someone!”

Ariel, who was getting ready to go home, was startled. She hurriedly stuffed her things into her backpack and asked urgently, ”Where?”

”In that alley next to the school! Hey... where are you going?”

Ariel grabbed her backpack and dashed out, shouting without looking back, ”I’m going to help beat them up! Damn it, how dare they bully my idol!!”

When Ariel arrived at the alley, Arlo Seys and his group were in the thick of the fight.

Ariel swung her backpack over her shoulders and rushed over, smashing it down on the heads of those surrounding Arlo and his group, cursing, ”Bastards! How dare you bully Arlo! I’ll smash you to death!”

In the midst of the fight, Arlo Seys saw Ariel suddenly appear on the scene, and with a bewildered expression, he said in a deep voice, ”Ariel, what are you doing here?!”

Ariel replied matter-of-factly, ”Helping you fight the group attack!”

”...”

With Ariel’s addition, the situation instantly turned around. The Scenic Hill trio, who had been in a superior position, suddenly became disadvantaged.

Worried that Ariel might get hurt, Arlo Seys tried to protect her, blocking many punches for her, getting a few marks on his face.

Under the fierce offensive of the opponents, the trio was finally outnumbered.

Nico Haynes was jumping up and down, ”Why aren’t you running! Damn it, Ariel Morris, are you here to help or to be a drag!”

...

The four of them shook off the enemies and were panting in a secluded alley.

Nico Haynes pointed at Ariel Morris and complained, ”You--- you--- Ariel Morris! Were you here to mess things up?!”

Ariel leaned against the wall, panting heavily, ”You’re the one who’s embarrassing, Third Haynes, have you ever won a fight? You’re so weak!”

Nico Haynes went berserk, ”Who are you calling Third Haynes?!”

Ariel chuckled and said, ”Third Haynes, is your memory failing? Do you remember the bet we made? If I managed to win over Arlo, you have to call me sister-in-law!”

”....” Nico’s eyes darted around, ”Was there such a bet?”

Ariel was furious at his denial, turning to look pitifully at Young Master Seys, one of the trio, ”Arlo, Nico Haynes is bullying me! He won’t acknowledge I’m your girlfriend!”

”.... Ariel Morris! You’ve really outdone yourself! Using Boss Seys to suppress me!” Nico shouted angrily.

Arlo Seys glanced lightly at his good buddy, saying nonchalantly, ”As a matter of course, Nico, you should address Ariel as sister-in-law.”

Nico Haynes: ...

Is this a friend? Is this Boss Seys? Ariel Morris sold him out with just one sentence! What happened to the whole ’brothers going through life together’? What happened to friendship being stronger than gold?

Nico Haynes looked at Arlo Seys with a bitter face, ”Boss, you’re really choosing love over friendship!”

How come he never realized before? A brotherhood forged over more than ten years, wearing the same briefs, couldn’t compare to a few months of knowing Ariel Morris. Sigh, Nico lit a candle for himself in his heart.

Dawn Sutherland teased, ”Third Haynes, you’d better just give in, Ariel won’t let you off the hook.”

Ariel Morris, with a hint of smugness in her eyes, clung to Arlo Seys’s arm, raising her brow at the dispirited Nico Haynes, ”Call me sister-in-law! Third Haynes!”

”Hey, you little brat, you’re getting cocky!” Nico couldn’t stand Ariel’s proud little look, rolled up his sleeves, and walked over.

Ariel immediately ducked behind Arlo Seys, pursing her lips pitifully, ”Arlo~”
