Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 125: Chapter 125 Can you never leave me?......

Arlo Seys shot a sharp glance at his friend Nico Haynes, who immediately clammed up, his gaze wandering innocently as if he were just a bystander.

Ariel Morris observed the interaction between the two, her face darkening slightly, ”If you won’t tell me, I’ll ask Brother Dawn! Brother Dawn-----”

Dawn Sutherland smiled gently and began to explain: ”Those guys were crowding at the school gate trying to settle a score with you. Third Haynes happened to overhear their conversation as he left the school, and he called Arlo to inform him, leading Arlo to rush out and confront them. I couldn’t stop him.”

As soon as Dawn finished speaking, Arlo’s voice rang out with a hint of coldness: ”Dawn!”

Dawn chuckled, shrugged at Ariel Morris, and chose to stay out of it, remaining silent.

Ariel Morris turned to look at the person standing beside her, her voice a bit somber: ”Was it the gang of hooligans from last time seeking revenge on me?”

Arlo Seys felt somewhat uncomfortable under her gaze, yet had no choice but to nod slightly.

It turned out he got into fights for her, to protect her. Ariel Morris suddenly felt very warm, the warmth penetrating her heart.

”Arlo, please don’t hide things from me in the future.”

”Alright.”

----

Since being punished on the playground, Arlo Seys hadn’t come to class for several days. Ariel Morris clutched her phone daily, sending messages to him, but they were like stones sinking into the sea without a response.

Ariel Morris had sought out Dawn Sutherland to ask if anything had happened with Arlo Seys lately, but Dawn was evasive. Ariel tried to confine Nico Haynes for information about Arlo’s whereabouts, but Nico also hesitated and remained silent.

Ariel Morris felt increasingly anxious.

Finally, after a week of inner torment, Ariel Morris saw Arlo Seys at the school gate one afternoon, with Dawn and Nico standing a short distance away.

Ariel Morris was somewhat excited to see Arlo Seys, who had been missing for a week. She approached him, recalling his silent disappearance for a week without responding to messages, feeling a bit upset, and spoke with some dissatisfaction: ”Arlo, where have you been this past week? Do you know I’ve been searching for you all week?! Do you know how scared I was?!”

Arlo Seys responded with a sudden embrace, holding her tightly, his voice slightly deep: ”Ariel, I will absolutely not let go of your hand; no matter how big the obstacles, I will brave the storms and stay by your side courageously.”

Ariel Morris’s small emotions and temper instantly dissipated with this unexpectedly tender statement. She returned the embrace, wrapping her arms around his back.

On the shoulder she couldn’t see, lightly leaning on her right, Arlo Seys’s brows furrowed slightly, and his body trembled a little.

She felt his trembling, gently released him, and observed Arlo Seys up and down with a puzzled look in her eyes, ”Arlo, what’s wrong? Why do I feel that you seem a bit thinner after not seeing you for a week?” She spoke with a mischievous grin: ”Could it be that missing me has made you lose your appetite?”

Arlo Seys looked at the sweet and charming girl, his pale lips curving slightly, his eyes and tone very sincere: ”Yes---I miss you, miss you very much.”

Ariel Morris meant to tease him a little, not expecting him to answer so earnestly, and her face was tinged with a small blush, a slight scolding: ”Did you disappear for a week to learn how to be smooth-tongued and please girls from Nico Haynes? How come after a week, you speak so----cheesy?”

That’s the word, right? Yes, cheesy! Even someone as brazen-faced as her felt a bit embarrassed; this was the school gate after all, during the after-school rush with people passing by, boy genius!!

Arlo Seys lightly pursed his thin lips, his voice somewhat deep: ”Ariel---can you promise me, no matter what happens, never leave me? Trust me, I will give you a wonderful future; for you, I will definitely try my best!”
