System Came When the Doctor was Thirty

”As soon as the patient and their family complete the signing procedures, they can quickly enter the operating room.”

”This is all instructed by Director Lu.”

Zhong Junyun glanced at Lu Cheng, who was conducting a physical examination on the patient, and nodded gently, ”Is this all as Director Lu instructed you to do?”

Chen Fang nodded, ”Yes, Director Lu has always been meticulous about details.”

”Do you clearly define these diagnoses in advance?”

”Do you know the patient’s name and admission number in advance?”

”Do you help the patient complete information registration procedures in advance?”

”Did you call the patient to confirm this data or did you contact the transferring unit?” asked Zhong Junyun casually.

Chen Fang quickly smiled, ”Indeed, the information was transferred before the transferring unit contacted us.”

Zhong Junyun then handed the document back to Chen Fang.

”Good job, but don’t do it this way next time.”

Chen Fang immediately realized she had been caught off guard, her attempt to please had failed.

As Chen Fang was bewildered, Xie Xiao stepped in proactively, ”When patients are transferred, family members voluntarily inform us of their registration information, it’s a proactive consultation.”

”The hospital proactively enters the patient’s information into the medical record system, even if the patient has a proactive intent to seek consultation, with no other place to go.”

”But at this time…”

”Leaving traces won’t stand the test.”

Chen Fang was a little bewildered by this hit, ”But the patient has nowhere else to go?”

Xie Xiao heard Chen Fang’s resistance and replied lightly, ”Amputation is also a treatment.”

”Amputation is not child’s play.”

Xie Xiao knew that city and county hospitals have their own ecosystems, but these ecosystems cannot stand the formal occasions.

When someone wants to follow procedures with you, and you fail to realize the time sooner or later!

What can you do?

You knew the patient’s information before they even arrived?

Xie Xiao feared Chen Fang’s possible misunderstanding and added an explanation, ”Your hospital and the neighboring city hospital aren’t part of a medical alliance, right?”

Chen Fang immediately understood, ”Thank you, Professor Xie!”

In a medical alliance, the subordinate unit can transfer to the upper-level hospital because the medical record systems can communicate, thus knowing this information is institutionally authorized.

In non-medical alliance units, requesting such information directly from another unit is non-compliant!

Nobody defines amputation as unsuitable treatment for destructive injuries, the law wouldn’t dare write this.

Writing such would force doctors unable to doctor, afraid to be doctors!

Limb preservation surgery for destructive injuries isn’t a technology everyone can master; it’s a technology that over ninety-nine percent of people can’t execute.

…

After the patient entered the operating room, Chen Fang clocked out!

Lu Cheng led the team and, together with Dai Linfang, completed the talking and signing preparations for the patient.

During the process, Lu Cheng noticed Dai Linfang’s courteousness towards Professor Xie Xiao and his indifference towards Zhong Junyun and Liu Guocheng!

Lu Cheng had no opinions about this.

Everyone can love and hate as they please, as long as they don’t target people; the choice is naturally theirs.

On the operating table, Lu Cheng felt as if he was back at home.

The patient’s destructive injury was quite severe; it was a traumatic destruction below the knee joint and appeared chaotic...

However, this time Lu Cheng did not show panic.

Once Zhong Junyun saw that the disinfection was almost done, he calmly stood up, ”I’ll go up to the table, and you two can watch below.”

”Alright!~” Xie Xiao and Liu Guocheng both obeyed the order like an edict.

After Professor Zhong Junyun left the room, Dai Linfang smiled lightly, ”Brother Lu, these professors really do place importance on you.”

”All stepping out at once, not leaving a single big shot at home.”

Union Hospital has its own rules, including a three-line duty system.

Professors also have their own clinics and surgery days.

When three professors leave at once, it must mean one of them has to stop their clinic.

Xie Xiao seemed to understand the implied meaning of Dai Linfang and spoke calmly, ”Professor Zhao Linfa is guarding the department, there won’t be any major issues.”

Dai Linfang chuckled, ”I see, truly worthy of Union Hospital!”

The number of high-level positions in Union Hospital’s hand surgery department is certainly not abundant; this professor might be an associate professor!

But this associate professor’s level and strength rivals that of a full professor, just his qualifications and accumulation aren’t deep enough yet, not justifying additional full professor status for the hand surgery department at Union Hospital.

Upon getting up to the table, Lu Cheng discovered something quite shocking.

Damn, Professor Zhong Junyun was intentionally showing off his skills to him!

This is a destructive injury!

According to the proper procedure, destructive injury patients require debridement first then tendon suturing.

Only after thorough debridement is it convenient to suture, ensuring a clear visual field.

However, Professor Zhong Junyun completely disregarded norms and started the suturing directly!

His basic suturing skills were incredibly proficient and awesome, the areas where Professor Zhong Junyun sutured did not obstruct Lu Cheng’s debridement.

Instead, it formed an ”suturing debridement” stance.

Once Lu Cheng understood, he glanced at Professor Zhong Junyun, his face displaying confusion.

Professor Zhong Junyun then said, ”So-called treatment, so-called standards, are all temporary, all current!”

”The so-called guidelines are established based on the average level of most doctors.”

”These rules cannot bind people rigidly.”

”The reason for debridement, why some things are labeled ’necrotic tissue’, isn’t because they truly became necrotic, but because most people can’t rejuvenate them.”

”Similarly, the significance of thorough debridement is because many people cannot treat the local area without adequate debridement.”

”But associate professors have the autonomy.”

”As long as you have the ability and assurance, guidelines are mere references. You yourself are the guideline.”

”You debride yours, I suture mine…” The aura of Professor Zhong Junyun was evident, as if he returned to his most familiar realm.

What debridement of destructive injury?

It is merely an excuse for those with inadequate suturing and reconstructive skills!

I will directly perform destructive reconstruction to let you gain insight...

Amidst the vastness of the world, talents and geniuses are numerous.

Each era has its own geniuses, just like the previous era.

They have merely aged, no longer carrying the halo of genius as they walk, but not dead.

Their time of stirring the cloud was grand and splendid, evoking the notion of genius as it should be.

Lu Cheng humbly accepted and nodded, ”Thus one shouldn’t hoard tricks, but venture out more.”

Lu Cheng had no idea that a destructive injury could be treated in such a manner!!!

Zhong Junyun was candid, ”This theoretical and technical approach is not yet mature. If you’re willing, I can share with you the preliminary principles entirely.”

”You can refine them, establishing a new path.”

”If you’re unwilling, we will continue our own refinement!~”

Upon hearing this, Xie Xiao rushed to say, ”Lu Cheng, aren’t you going to thank him? This is Professor Zhong’s lifelong learning.”

Hearing this, Lu Cheng continued his debridement without raising his head.

Similarly, Zhong Junyun was able to observe Lu Cheng’s approach to debridement using minimum damage, striving to preserve the most tissue.

Each step was perfectly executed.

The seemingly chaotic destructive tissue, under Lu Cheng’s hands, was like an unattractive handsome man, who, with minor enhancements, became worthy of the term handsome.

After a long time, Lu Cheng still remained silent.

Zhong Junyun asked, ”You’re unwilling?”

”Is there such a deep concern in your heart?”

”I’ve done nothing to harm you!~”

Lu Cheng shook his head, ”Teacher Zhong, it’s not unwillingness, it’s that I have my own path to pursue.”

”Functional reconstruction is never an extreme of suturing operations.”

Zhong Junyun frowned slightly, ”Are you implying my approach is wrong?”

”Taking this path leads nowhere?”

Lu Cheng pondered earnestly, then nodded slowly, ”This is my personal understanding, Teacher Zhong also has his own perspective.”

”I can’t judge right from wrong, but I’m inclined to trust my own insights.”

Zhong Junyun wasn’t one to be easily convinced like a child, ”The reason?”

”Why do some normal organs, with normal shape, normal anatomy, all structures normal, still suffer functional damage?”

”Why is this?”
