Chapter 1598: Chapter 552: The Hidden Divine Artifact

”You’re too kind.” Elder Nasha slightly bowed, gesturing Rein to continue.

”What I’d like to ask is, do you know anything about Fiend Demon?” Rein looked around, ensuring that besides Anna and the others, there were no unreliable people present, and asked slowly.

”Fiend Demon?” Elder Nasha’s originally smiling and elegant face slightly stiffened, her beautiful eyes revealing obvious surprise. After a pause, she gathered her emotions and said, ”Your Crown Rein, could it be that you encountered the Fiend Demon?”

Elder Nasha’s emotional fluctuation made Anna beside her quite astonished.

To know that Elder Nasha, being one of the top-ranked presences in the Elf Clan elders in terms of strength, has been through countless tribulations. At the very least, ordinary matters would hardly move her.

”Yes.” Rein thought for a moment and decided not to hide it, nodding in response.

Next, before Elder Nasha could continue asking, Rein went on, ”I encountered it in a ruin within the Federation, it was quite troublesome.”

”So it was over on the Federation side.” Elder Nasha visibly breathed a sigh of relief, ”The matter of Fiend Demon hasn’t been mentioned in a long time. However, with the resurgence of energy tides, its reappearance isn’t unexpected.”

”I’ve seen related records in the clan’s ancient books, about ten thousand years ago, there was no unified Empire by humans, and various kingdoms existed independently. There were more Churches worshiping the True Gods than now, experiencing decades of intense confrontation with Evil Gods and Fiend Demons.”

”And seemingly, relying on a certain Divine Artifact, they finally sealed the Fiend Demon and Evil Gods. But it appeared that using this Divine Artifact led energy tides to fall into a low point.”

”Our clan’s books recorded several Sages’ prophecies from that time, the general idea is that with the reappearance of energy tides, Divines will revive, and Fiend Demons will reappear.”

”Divine Artifact? Prophecy?” Rein was clearly stunned by what he’d heard.

What he planned to understand was actually the relationship between Evil Gods and Fiend Demons, he didn’t expect to hear such a new situation.

”Yes, that’s all I know.” Elder Nasha nodded and said.

After thinking it over, Rein decided not to dwell on the Divine Artifact or prophecy; after all, he should first figure out whether the relationship between Evil Gods and Fiend Demons is as the mural suggests, which is adversarial.

”Elder Nasha, do you know anything about the relationship between Evil Gods and Fiend Demons?” Rein asked again.

”That... perhaps there is more detailed information in the Elf Clan’s records, maybe, if Your Crown Rein has the time, you could take a trip to Ferdinand Forest.” Elder Nasha shook her head and said.

Rein nodded, thinking it over, he decided to go there now. Of course, the main reason is that this matter must be clarified before further exploration of the Floating City Ruins.

”Anna, why don’t I send you back to Ferdinand Forest? I could also look for some data.”

”That’s wonderful, Rein.” Hearing this news, Anna’s eyes brightened and she tightened her grip on Rein’s hand.

Having decided to go, the group quickly reached the garrison plaza; at this moment, Anna seemed to think of something, suddenly tugging at Rein’s sleeve and mysteriously said, ”Rein, I can fly now.”

”Fly?”

”Hm!”

Seeing Anna nod heavily, she let go of Rein’s white tender hand, lightly leaped two steps, and in the next instant, Anna vanished from where she was while a Golden Eagle with wings spanning several meters suddenly appeared.

Next, the Golden Eagle blinked its sharp yet familiar eyes at Rein, before flapping its wings and soaring into the sky.

”Druid Transformation Technique, Transform into a Golden Eagle?” Rein couldn’t help but look with surprise at the Golden Eagle circling overhead, speaking.

Similarly transforming into a Golden Eagle, Rein had seen it earlier on Lady Delana, Anna’s aunt, but didn’t expect Anna to have mastered it now.

It’s said that learning this transformation has considerable difficulty and mastering it isn’t easy.

”Yes, Your Crown Rein, Anna has been very diligent and hardworking in her studies, coupled with her talent; her progress is rapid. If you go by human wizard levels, she’s already a Second Level Liquidation Late Stage wizard.”

Beside them, Elder Nasha kindly looked at Anna in the sky and turned to explain to Rein.

Rein nodded in agreement, Anna’s progress indeed was substantial.

Although the Elf Clan’s Druid strength classification isn’t as meticulous as that of Wizards, generally mastering more than three transformation abilities and corresponding combat skills, aided by several Nature witchcrafts, could qualify one as an Advanced Druid. Beyond that, would be a Great Druid.

Soon, the Golden Eagle plunged down, arriving within a few meters in front of Rein, quickly transforming back into a lively and beautiful Elf Girl.

”Amazing! Anna, I didn’t expect you to master transforming into a Golden Eagle; the last time I saw this was with Lady Delana.” Rein stepped forward with a smile, holding the girl’s hand, praising.

”Hm, though I’m still not better than you, I’ll work hard.” Hearing Rein’s praise, Anna’s heart felt as sweet as honey, and she smiled shyly.

”By the way, where’s Lady Delana?” Rein suddenly remembered and asked.

Theoretically, Delana should be with her sister Daryn Yueling, but Rein hadn’t seen her.
