Chapter 1560: Chapter 537: Empire’s Rise to Fame (Part 2)

The greatest enemies of this world are those covetous Evil Gods and the awakening ancient beasts...

As the Imperial Guardian, Pantoscoke would not mind giving the other party a chance as long as they did not make mistakes in major aspects. However, if the opponent still refused to concede, Rein would directly send them back to the embrace of the Goddess...

In fact, he hadn’t unleashed his full power in the previous battle, using just about fifty percent of his strength.

In his eyes, Pantoscoke was far from being his rival, and given his current prowess and rapid progress, Pantoscoke would be left further behind.

Facing Pantoscoke’s surrender, Rein nodded and decided to leave the arena. A carriage was already waiting for him at the door as he needed to visit the Imperial Wizard School Union headquarters.

Previously, on the Shirendil Plateau, Sect Leader Moria had entrusted him to complete the school promotion assessment.

As for the bet, he believed that not even given a hundred chances would the Drum Family dare to go back on their word.

Meanwhile.

On the enthusiastic stands, the elegant woman Jennifer excitedly held onto Cleya and Lagaray’s hands, unable to calm down.

”Is this Jennifer lady? I am Davis, and I hear your Warhammer and Rose Commerce is currently seeking business partners in the Imperial City?” said Duke Davis, who had originally been seated in the row behind the three ladies, now approached with his wife, smiling.

”Ah... Duke Davis, it is an honor to meet you!”

”Yes, lately I have been searching for suitable partners,” the elegant lady exclaimed in surprise at the sight of the elderly man dressed in luxurious attire and immediately lifted her long skirt to perform a ladylike curtsy.

Meanwhile, an idea she’d never considered before popped into Jennifer’s mind—perhaps Duke Davis intended...

”That’s wonderful! Coincidentally, my Laurel Chamber of Commerce is also looking to expand business operations. Would it be an honor to collaborate with your commerce, madam?” Duke Davis spoke very politely.

The surrounding nobles all looked at Duke Davis with envy.

He has such a knack for seizing opportunities, and are you really looking to expand? It feels like you’re handing money away!

Who doesn’t know that the Laurel Chamber of Commerce virtually monopolizes the high-end spice market in the entire Empire? Collaboration? Is it necessary? Don’t joke around!

”This... collaborating with the Laurel Chamber of Commerce would indeed be an honor,” Jennifer said, her beautiful face flushed with excitement.

”Madam, you are too kind. It’s also an honor for the Laurel Chamber of Commerce,” Duke Davis nodded and smiled politely.

After a few exchanges of pleasantries, Duke Davis left with his wife.

Soon after, over a dozen of the senior nobles came one after another, representing families with one or more famous commerce establishments in the Imperial City.

For a while, even with Cleya helping out on the side, Madam Jennifer was beyond busy.

...

Rein, on the other hand, climbed into the carriage arranged by the Sword Holder Headquarters, which had been waiting at the Royal Arena’s entrance.

”Lord Rein, I heard the enthusiastic applause from outside, I knew you would win,” said Olena, the ever-rational and competent young woman, with a slight blush on her charming face.

Yet her beautiful eyes took in her lord’s Wizard Robe, devoid of any wrinkles, and his forehead without a drop of sweat, making her internally even more surprised.

It was just too clean!

He might as well have just changed into it, hardly looking like he had just completed a match.

Previously, Rein had said it would take just a few minutes, which had left her momentarily stunned. But now, calculating the time, from entry to exit didn’t even take a full ten minutes.

”Thank you, it was about as expected. Let’s go to the Wizard Federation headquarters.”

”Yes, my lord.”

...

At the same time.

Two beautiful and distinct young women were at the Wizard Federation, excitedly talking with a wizard at the Late Stage of Second Level Liquidation.

”Lord Ronan, although the stipulated time is at nine in the morning, I have told you before, Sect Leader Moria went to the Shirendil Plateau and will be a bit late, but Lord Rein will come over shortly.”

”Promoting a major wizard school, and your Sect Leader isn’t personally attending? Could it be due to an Imperial summons?” Ronan said displeased.

He was in charge of liaising for school promotions and, over the centuries, the promotion of wizard schools had become a fixed process. However, it was his first time encountering a situation like this, where a school only sent two First Level Fogging wizards during promotion.

This was practically disregarding the headquarters and the significance of school promotion.

”Well...” Audrey found herself speechless.

She recalled it was Lord Rein’s request for the Sect Leader, Deputy Sect Leader, instructors, and other key members to go directly to the Shirendil Plateau. To be precise, it wasn’t an executive order from the Empire.

Furthermore, with the school’s key members having gone to the Shirendil Plateau, only a few people remained at the Imperial school site, making her the most suitable liaison.

”But Lord Ronan, after Lord Rein has finished his match, he will come over immediately. Couldn’t you provide some leeway?”

”Lord Rein? I know the one who killed ’Carver’ Harold, indeed impressive. But regulations are regulations. Your Lord Rein, no matter how powerful, is of no use. School promotion requires the Sect Leader to handle it personally.” Ronan couldn’t help but sneer.
