Chapter 1553: Chapter 535: Mechanical Tyrannosaurus

”In that case, let’s strike while the iron is hot. I already learned most of it at Molten Lava Lake previously, the remaining ones shouldn’t take too much time.”

Swiftly, Rein decided to finish learning the advanced knowledge of Goblin Engineering sourced from the second memory crystal.

Upon completing the class change, he set off for the Imperial City.

Half a day later.

[Ding! Host has mastered advanced Goblin Engineering knowledge, triggering the subsequent class change—Goblin Engineering Expert (Epic)!]

[Prerequisites for advancing to Goblin Engineering Expert (Epic): 1. Goblin Engineer (Legendary) level 5 or above; 2. Strength above 20 points, Constitution above 20 points, Agility above 20 points, Spirit above 40 points; 3. Master advanced Goblin Engineering knowledge; 4. Independently create any five pieces of qualified advanced Goblin Engineering constructs... Current conditions fulfilled! Yes/No advance to Goblin Engineering Expert (Epic)?]

[Note: Upon class change to Goblin Engineering Expert (Epic), the original Goblin Engineer (Legendary) profession panel will be integrated into the Goblin Engineering Expert (Epic) profession panel.]

Without any hesitation, Rein immediately chose ”Yes”!

[Starting class change...]

[Ding! Successfully advanced to Goblin Engineering Expert (Epic)! Strength +3, Agility +3, Constitution +5, Spirit +10!]

[Acquired Goblin Engineering Expert (Epic) Core Skill: Quick Repair (Active)]

The system panel revealed.

The former Goblin Engineer (Legendary) profession panel had vanished, replaced by the eye-catching purple panel of Goblin Engineering Expert (Epic).

Its rich purple hue, even compared to the first Epic Level Profession Rein acquired—King of Thousand Blades, showed little difference. It seemed to represent that the Goblin Engineering Expert in the field of mechanical manufacturing had reached an extremity akin to the King of Thousand Blades in melee combat.

This brought great delight to Rein’s heart.

After all, within the same tier of professions, there are differences in battle power, and he naturally prefers to have a more powerful profession panel.

When focusing on the new Core Skills, Rein couldn’t help but murmur softly:

”Quick Repair?”

He quickly concentrated on the description of the new Core Skill, which read as follows:

[Core Skill: Quick Repair (Active)]

[Quick Repair (Active) effect: In intense combat environments, mechanical devices may suddenly encounter faults or damage. Once the skill is activated, the Goblin Engineering Expert can diagnose the issue in a short time and quickly perform repairs.]

(Note: The spiritual power consumed by Quick Repair is related to the severity of the fault or damage, and also the complexity of the device. Moreover, the greater the spiritual power consumed, the faster the repair speed.)

”Previously, as Goblin Engineer, the Core Skill was Emergency Modification, now as Goblin Engineering Expert, it’s Quick Repair, both are incredibly valuable in real combat.”

”This indeed varies greatly compared to tailoring and leatherworking from before, no wonder the profession panel of Goblin Engineering Expert reached Epic Level, while the other two only remained at Transcendent level,” Rein thought to himself.

A few minutes later.

Just as Rein intended to leave, he noticed the familiar ’Destroyer’ Demon Statue placed at the center of Mechanical Assembly Hall.

This was brought over by Sect Leader Moria as per his notification, so even after he left the Shirendil Plateau, Nirheim would still have an Epic Level Battle Power presence.

Though the Crystalization Peak Wizard couldn’t entirely unleash Destroyer’s combat potential, it was sufficient for defense.

”Becoming a Goblin Engineering Expert finally allows me to create Super Giant Magic Statues at the same level as the Destroyer...”

Just naturally, several images of Goblin advanced engineering schematics quickly flitted across Rein’s mind.

”Large Magic Statue level... Mechanical Whiptail Dragon...”

”Super Giant Metal Magic Statue level... Mechanical Demon Dragon...”

”This one it is!”

Quickly, Rein’s spirit settled on an enormous piece of Goblin Engineering mechanical construction not inferior in height to the Destroyer—Mechanical Demon Dragon.

Mechanical Demon Dragon can be considered a super-enhanced version of the swift dragon.

Besides the equally sharp sickle claws, it also boasts a segmented alloy tail capable of executing ’Death Sweep,’ qualifying as an effective crowd control weapon.

Furthermore, its head features two eye sockets fitted with high-energy ray emitters, enabling ’Energy Beam,’ addressing a deficiency in long-range attack measures.

The configuration of these devices virtually leaves Mechanical Demon Dragon with few shortcomings.

In the Ancient Goblin Empire, a mechanical legion’s high-end battle power was constituted by these towering three to four-meter Mechanical Demon Dragons.

Yet due to manufacturing complexity, exorbitant costs, and typically requiring the operator to reach the level of Dawn Wizard to fully exploit this destructive machine’s battle power, even when stripping down certain functions requires at least Crystalization Peak Wizard, a mechanical legion usually holds them in limited numbers.

Of course, the reason Rein doesn’t pursue creating stronger metal magic statues is that even within the two memory crystals documenting advanced Goblin Engineering knowledge, they lack key core components’ manufacturing methods for higher-level magic statues.

For instance, there’s one schematic of a ’Legion Commander Level’—termed ’Titan Level’ by human wizards—’King of Tyrannosaurs’ mechanical construct above a Super Giant Magic Statue.

But it lacks the dynamic core ’Crystal Energy Matrix’ manufacturing method, so currently, creation is not possible.
