Chapter 438: Chapter 210: Job Change [Legendary Weapon Master] (Two in One Big Chapter)_3

Although Vinica had not known Reine for long, she felt an inexplicable sense of trust toward him.

She believed that if Reine were willing to accompany her, her goal of obtaining the ironbill sea eagle fledgling would definitely be achieved smoothly.

Reine smiled.

“Of course, Miss Vinica, when might we depart? Since I serve as the Governor of Fishing Port Town, I might need a little time to hand over my duties before I can accompany you.”

“Of course, Lord Reine, you agreed! That’s wonderful!” Vinica’s twin ponytails swung as her face lit up with joy and her pale hands clenched in excitement, clearly delighted that Reine had agreed to accompany her.

“Could we leave early tomorrow morning? If all goes well, we ought to be able to make the round trip within the day. As for the vessel, I will make arrangements.”

“Yes, Miss Vinica, that works perfectly, as I also need your assistance with something,” Reine nodded and said with a smile.

“Oh? Please, speak, Lord Reine,” Vinica watched Reine with a slight sense of curiosity.

“Major Mary just informed me that my application to learn ‘Aeneas’ bird transformation technique’ has been approved by the Southern Fleet.”

“That’s great, I understand what you mean, whenever you are free, I…” Vinica immediately grasped his meaning and volunteered.

“Now, if possible?”

“Now?” Vinica couldn’t help but express her surprise.

Lord Reine was indeed in a hurry.

“Is that inconvenient, Miss Vinica?”

“No, not at all! Please follow me, Lord Reine,” Vinica’s petite hands gestured as she spoke.

The two walked shoulder to shoulder toward a small alchemy room that Vinica had recently transformed at the town hall.

While walking, Vinica explained:

“My mentor’s bird transformation technique is not purely witchcraft; to be precise, it is a witchcraft ritual that requires some specific materials.”

“Among these, an essential component is either a newly hatched chick or an egg about to hatch.”

“Can either be used?” Reine asked casually.

“Yes, either can be used, though an egg about to hatch has the best effects, but if the egg contains an unformed embryo, the ritual will inevitably fail, hence, we generally choose a newly hatched chick.”

“Besides, we will need a fast growth potion and phantom spririt grass, and of course, the most important part is drawing the witchcraft circle…”

Vinica already had a favorable impression of Reine, and now that she had been officially authorized, she taught with even more dedication and was forthcoming with information.

Inside the alchemy room, Vinica personally demonstrated the technique for Reine to observe, using a white seagull fledgling as the test subject.

This was perfect to make up for the ones that had died during their last experiment.

Vinica first placed the fluffy white seagull fledgling on a soft cushion in the center of the room and then positioned a leaf with purple patterns in front of the fledgling.

Having done this, she began grinding a special ink made of a mix of herbs.

“Lord Reine, this is moonlight ink; we’ll use it to draw the six-pointed witchcraft circle later,” Vinica explained while processing the ink.

Such detailed explanation naturally increased Reine’s fondness for Vinica.

This was because if he had instead obtained relevant books and had to study on his own, the learning process would definitely not be as efficient.

Vinica’s hands-on teaching saved Reine a lot of learning time.

After grinding, Vinica started using the pale silver moonlight ink to draw a six-pointed witchcraft circle on the ground.

“A success on the first try! Nice!” Vinica’s face immediately lit up with a smile.

It was best to succeed on the first try, especially in front of Lord Reine; otherwise, it would have been a bit embarrassing.

Then came the final step.

Vinica took out a bottle of pale green potion and held it in her hand, starting to chant a spell.

As the crisp chanting sounded, the six-pointed witchcraft circle began to glow gradually, and a unique aura of witchcraft appeared!

The next second, Vinica uncorked the potion bottle, and the pale green liquid, like a living thing, surged out from the bottle, coiling around the white fledgling.

As Vinica pointed toward the pale purple leaf, the ritual neared its conclusion.

The fledgling, the potion, and the leaf underwent a miraculous reaction….

Suddenly, multiple system notifications appeared:

The panel now showed Wizard Apprentice (Transcendent) profession level from lv5 to lv6 (11/3000), and at the bottom of the panel, remaining attribute points: 5, and remaining skill points: 1 were displayed.

Seeing this, a radiant smile spread across Reine’s face.

Meanwhile, Vinica couldn’t help but feel a mix of surprise and curiosity as to why Lord Reine’s smile was so radiant after observing the demonstration.
