Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 1770: Chapter 1771: The Dominant Old Man

In Old Master Cheng’s study, on the tea table, there was a fragrant incense burning, and a set of purple sand tea sets was arranged. Cheng Su knelt on the carpet under the tea table, concentrating on making tea.

She washed the tea, heated the cup, and then poured the entire water from the tea cup onto the body of the purple sand pot, before refilling it with boiling water, poured out the tea soup, and placed it in a purple sand cup. Only then did Cheng Su respectfully offer it to Old Master Cheng.

Old Master Cheng stroked his long beard and said with a smile, ”I used to always hear an old friend of mine say how his daughter made tea for him so gracefully, his delight was so compelling, it made people want to slap him twice. Now, I, this old bag of bones, can also enjoy such fortune.”

Cheng Su poured herself a cup of tea, sat on the sofa, and said with a laugh, ”Missing a cup of tea, are you? Just say the word, and all the sisters-in-law at home will compete to make tea for you.”

”How can daughters-in-law and daughters be the same? They’re different.” Old Master Cheng took a sip of the tea.

”Then next year, if Xiao Ya’s baby is a daughter, in a couple of years, you can drink tea made by your granddaughter. Teach her well how to make tea, and you can watch her every day.” Cheng Su laughed again.

Old Master Cheng slapped his leg, ”You’re right. A young girl should learn the tea ceremony from an early age. That’s the demeanor of a real lady from a prestigious family!”

Cheng Su smiled slightly, feeling sympathetic for Little Sister Cheng, whose future path has been decided by these two.

After they talked a bit about children, Old Master Cheng asked about her plans for returning to Guangcheng this time.

”The seafood shop is to be opened. I’ve contacted the people my second brother gave me, planning to go to the fishermen’s homes over at Harbor City tomorrow to stock up and get the shop running.” Cheng Su said, ”If there’s a chance, I would also like to take Xiao Qi to visit his dad.”

”To visit the island over there, you have to take a boat. Can Xiao Qi manage?” Old Master Cheng disagreed, saying, ”Let his dad come out.”

The old man can’t bear to see the child suffer.

Cheng Su said, ”He doesn’t even know if he has time off. We’ll see. For now, let’s focus on getting the shop open, as it’s been delayed for months.”

Old Master Cheng nodded, saying, ”These are small businesses. But if you want to do it, then do it. To make money, you should invest in your second brother’s company stocks.”

”Godfather, how could I have money to invest in their company stocks? Besides, my ambition isn’t there.” Cheng Su laughed.

”Oh? You have your own ideas?”

Cheng Su replied, ”I’m thinking of opening a hotel here.”

Old Master Cheng asked, ”When will it open? Let the family invest for you.”

Cheng Su laughed even more, saying, ”Opening a hotel isn’t as simple as opening a shop. Even the architectural design requires major planning. Besides, I don’t have the time right now. I’ll plan it out after graduating next year!”

”Then let’s not talk about it for now!” Old Master Cheng looked at her and said, ”I heard you’ve encountered some difficulties?”

Cheng Su was taken aback, ”What difficulties?”

”Didn’t that woman from the past, the one who fancied Taiguo, come out to stir up trouble again? Isn’t it quite bothersome? People in Taiguo are all tense.” Old Master Cheng said, ”But you never mentioned it.”

Cheng Su responded, ”Oh, her? There’s nothing much to say. I don’t even see her. As long as she doesn’t disturb my life, all’s peaceful then!”

”You, such a laissez-faire attitude.” Old Master Cheng pointed at her, saying, ”If you’re wronged, don’t hold back. Now you’re no worse than others, you have several brothers. If anyone dares to bully you, speak out, we’ll beat her up.”

Pfft!

Old Master, you’re truly formidable!
