The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1436: Chapter 1436: Wanting to Ask Audrick to Invite Amadeus and the Others

Caryn Zachmann offended Mr. Yancey and was supposed to be kicked out of this circle.

Who would have thought the Zachmann Family was so capable, found Caryn a supporter, and through connections got her into the Pharmaceutical Association...

You have to understand.

The Pharmaceutical Association is different from the International Medical Organization; it’s not just about prestige but also real benefits.

The Pharmaceutical Association is full of powerful masters.

Caryn getting into the Pharmaceutical Association means she has the Association as a backing.

Additionally, with the Countess about to become her godmother, Caryn managed to turn the tables impressively.

Otherwise, who would come out to play with her today?

Sherrina Yacoub looked at Caryn’s departing back, sneered with disdain, thought she was too pretentious, and joined others to play dice...

*

Outside the private room.

After Caryn left the room, she didn’t go to the restroom as she claimed but walked down the corridor to go outside.

The weather in Beijing was just right.

The sun shone brightly on the Camphor Trees, with a clear blue sky resembling a mirror, occasionally flecked by passing birds.

After going outside, Caryn took out her phone, walking and looking at it.

She had sent Amadeus Yancey three WhatsApp messages over the past two days.

All three were invitations to her coming-out banquet.

But after two days, Amadeus Yancey still hadn’t replied to her.

Caryn found a quiet spot, finally losing her patience, she hesitated and pulled out Audrick Zachmann’s phone number from her phone book and called him.

”Beep beep.”

The phone rang over ten times and was about to hang up when Audrick finally answered.

Once connected, his tone was still very cold: ”Hello? Why are you calling me, do you need something?”

A hint of humiliation flashed across Caryn’s egg-shaped face, but she covered it well, tried to calm her breath, and said to him, ”Brother, I’m hosting a coming-out banquet in a few days, do you have time?”

”I told my agent to clear that day.” Audrick didn’t quite believe she would call him just for this: ”You called just to ask if I have time that day?”

”There’s something else I want to ask you for.” Caryn didn’t beat around the bush, she gritted her teeth and said softly, ”I... want to invite Amadeus and the others to the banquet that day.”

Audrick indeed said nothing.

Caryn took a deep breath, continued to speak submissively, ”Brother, can you help me invite Amadeus and the others? You know I had a bit of conflict with them over some matters, I’ve sent Amadeus messages but he hasn’t responded. This coming-out banquet is very important to me, I hope to invite more people over, if no one comes that day, I’ll feel embarrassed...”

”I want to apologize to Amadeus and the others face-to-face, to reconcile. Brother, you have a good relationship with Amadeus and the others, can you help me?”

She’s usually very proud, always speaking with a posture of high-standing.

This time, she showed rare vulnerability.

Audrick was momentarily at a loss as to how to handle this, he was silent for a full half minute, his tone softened considerably, asked her, ”Caryn, did you invite Nathalie Quinlan to your coming-out banquet?”

”...”

Upon hearing Nathalie Quinlan’s name again, Caryn felt like she had been slapped in the face, her expression stiffened, throat seemed blocked, unable to say a word.

Audrick realized from her silence that she definitely hadn’t invited Nathalie Quinlan.
