The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1410: Chapter 1410: Nathalie, You’ve Been Exposed

Amadeus Yancey wore a shirt and black pants today, a very casual outfit, but his superior physique made even casual dressing exude an extraordinary noble charm.

He blocked Nathalie Quinlan by the fridge, eyes lowered, looking very approachable, his rose-colored thin lips even curved upwards in a bewitching arc: ”Valencia Jett sent you a package. You were not in, so I signed for it.”

”The sending address is the Presidential Suite 6618 of Four Seasons Hotel in Beijing, which has long been booked by a big shot from Illegal Zone. Coincidentally, the person from Illegal Zone who booked that room is also named Valencia Jett and happens to be from JC Group.”

Nathalie Quinlan: ”...”

She wanted some peace and quiet.

Then send Valencia Jett and @ilovebeingskinny to Inderia to check their brains!

Just mailing a package, does she have to use her real name??

Amadeus Yancey remained calm and unhurried, with a hint of laughter in his voice: ”Moreover...”

Nathalie Quinlan lifted her eyelids, her dark eyes looked quite surprised at him, seemingly not expecting there to be more: ”What?”

Amadeus Yancey cornered her inside, his pretty eyes lowered, looking at her intensely, his thin lips even slightly curved: ”Inside that paper bag is a handmade bracelet, the style... very novel, not like something a girl would design.”

Nathalie Quinlan was almost pierced by his gaze, and the string in her head tightened another inch, once again feeling the impulse to take Valencia Jett to check her brain.

Using her real name to send a package is one thing, but she used a paper bag without even finding a box to put it in.

Amadeus Yancey noticed her long silence and spoke in a rather friendly tone as he narrowed his eyes slightly: ”Nathalie the Goddess, don’t you want to explain this gift to me?”

Nathalie Quinlan’s mouth twitched; she lifted her eyelids and saw the persistence beneath his deep-set eyes, feeling a headache. She pressed lightly on the man blocking her path but couldn’t push him away, so she had to put her hand down and, speaking quickly, said: ”A friend sent it.”

”A friend?”

Amadeus Yancey couldn’t help but remember he was once her ’good friend’ too. He didn’t intend to be jealous over such a small matter, but an uncontrollable wave of sourness arose in his chest.

Hmph, he seemed to be really a bit jealous.

”Just a regular friend.” Nathalie Quinlan didn’t realize he was jealous, but she mostly guessed what he was thinking. Although she didn’t like explaining, she immediately added: ”Not the type you’re thinking of.”

Amadeus Yancey noticed her furrowing her brows, her eyes lowered, awkwardly explaining to him, and the sourness that had just filled his chest dissipated a little. His gaze was tightly locked on the girl, eyes depthless: ”Hmm, what type am I thinking of?”

Nathalie Quinlan was cornered by him, unable to get out, unable to avoid, his chest pressed against her front, heartbeat steady yet strong, pounding on her eardrum like a drumbeat.

All she felt was the heat from her hand pressing against him, like a wildfire spreading, very hot.

She swiftly bit on his thin lips then kissed him, the kiss was a bit forceful but quick.

After kissing him, Nathalie Quinlan quickly moved away, her long eyelashes trembled, suddenly raising her eyes to look at him, the fire ignited deep within her beautiful black pupils.

Her voice was still quite hoarse: ”Just a regular friend!”

”He recently came to Beijing, gave me a belated birthday gift, it’s really that simple.”

After speaking, she calmed down a bit and tried to walk away around him.

But Amadeus Yancey grabbed her hand at this moment, pulled her back, pinned her wrist against the fridge again, his eyes lowered full of possessiveness, seemingly not hearing what she just said, just intently watching her, softly saying: ”...Nathalie, kissing should be like this.”
