The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1423: Chapter 1423: Nathalie: Did I Say She Stole My Stuff?

Backstage of the competition.

Amadeus Yancey and Jackson Wafford were all there.

Besides them, there were also people from the organizer present.

Alfred Garland led Zayn Fisher and Ghania Quinlan to the security room, where surveillance video of Ghania knocking on Nathalie Quinlan’s dressing room door was playing.

In addition to this, there was a staff member standing listlessly beside the organizer.

Upon seeing Ghania walk over, he immediately pointed at her excitedly, ”It’s her, it’s her who said she was the contestant’s sister, so I let her in.”

Ghania, pointed at, felt her back tense up. Her apricot eyes flickered as she tried to hide herself behind Emilia Sullivan and Zayn Fisher, whispering, ”I, I did go in to find Nathalie, but when I saw she wasn’t inside, I left.”

She dared to say this not without some confidence.

After entering the dressing room and finding no one inside, she also noticed a bag with its zipper open on the makeup table belonging to Nathalie.

Ghania had specifically noticed that to protect the privacy of contestants from various countries, there was no surveillance in the dressing rooms, which emboldened her to steal the items inside.

Thus, when she saw the surveillance, she wasn’t particularly panicked, and managed to stay relatively calm.

”Ghania, didn’t you tell me you went to the bathroom?” Zayn Fisher also saw the surveillance.

In the surveillance, Ghania is seen standing in front of Nathalie’s dressing room door, knocking.

Frustrated, he questioned the girl hiding behind him, ”Did you ever tell me a single truth?”

This accusation was a bit harsh!

Ghania’s eyes turned red, tears welling up, her face extremely aggrieved, ”I, I just didn’t know how to tell you.”

Zayn Fisher’s brows furrowed tightly.

Ghania clenched her fists again, looking humiliated as she spoke, ”I went to find Nathalie to reconcile things, nothing more. I saw she wasn’t in the dressing room, so I left. I did nothing.”

Zayn Fisher didn’t know if he believed her words about doing nothing, his handsome face showed a moment of hesitation, yet he didn’t question her in front of Amadeus Yancey about why she mentioned someone stealing Nathalie’s hard drive earlier.

He turned his head, his handsome face showing some discomfort, looking at the girl sitting cross-legged on the makeup table, ”Nathalie, Ghania says she didn’t touch your things...”

”Did I ever say she touched my things?” Nathalie jumped down, standing firm with her legs, lifting her hand to pull down her duckbill cap, her gaze cold and irritable as she looked at him, ”I didn’t seem to say a word the whole time, it was all you talking.”

Zayn Fisher’s expression changed, becoming unpleasant, his hand hanging at his side clenching and unclenching, his look quite humiliated, ”You called Ghania over for this reason, didn’t you?”

”Are you the worm in my belly? I haven’t spoken, yet you know what I mean.” Nathalie glanced at him with a sideways look.

”You.” Zayn Fisher’s fair face instantly turned the color of pig liver.

He flared up, but trying to act out upon seeing Amadeus Yancey standing behind Nathalie, he dared not to mess around.

However, Zayn Fisher clearly couldn’t swallow this anger, his fists tightly clenched, afraid anyone couldn’t see how awful his face looked.

Unfortunately, no one present cared how he looked.

Govert Griffin sneered, stepping forward, glancing at the three who had come in later, his seemingly friendly yet ridiculing face filled with mockery, ”Young Master Fu, there’s no need to be so agitated. Ms. Quinlan hasn’t said you stole anything yet, but you’ve already admitted for your girlfriend, that’s rather inappropriate.”

His face burning with embarrassment, Zayn Fisher’s expression was erratic, yet he did not dare lose his temper.
