The Wizard's Pursuit of Truth

”I will tell you the specific time when it comes. Number Two, Number Three, and I still have some issues to deal with regarding our positions. It’s a bit troublesome, so we’ll be leaving first.”

Three figures disappeared from the projection conference simultaneously.

The numbered Wizards who remained actually felt relieved. This was because the top three numbered Wizards had always accomplished what they promised, and they had never failed.

”Wang Ya Harak, it’s about time you had a taste of what it’s like to lose.”

The Number Four Wizard snorted coldly, and the other Wizards present were all united against a common enemy, echoing their agreement.

Although they couldn’t kill him, injuring, crippling, or damaging his foundation was certainly not a problem.

Crimson firelight quickly filled the entire Witchcraft Testing Ground. The light then intensified, growing even more brilliant as its color shifted from crimson to a deep red that stretched outward.

Light this brilliant was enough to melt a mortal’s eyes; being blinded would be the lightest consequence.

Accompanied by powerful but controlled Particle Energy fluctuations, everything in its path was annihilated into dust.

In three months, Wang Ya had completed the creation of a High-tier Witchcraft for the Flame Demon Witchcraft School.

Five Low-tier Witchcrafts, three Middle-tier Witchcrafts, and one High-tier Witchcraft.

The synergy between the Witchcrafts and the balance of the system had both reached the highest current standard.

His Elemental Witchcraft School was now even more powerful than his Dream Witchcraft School.

Wang Ya dispersed the supply of Particle Energy, and the deep red light gradually faded, slowly revealing the scene within the grounds.

The sight was shocking. A forty-meter radius of the testing ground looked as if it had been scoured by an Energy Flame. The area was scorched black, and the dust was what remained of less durable building materials that couldn’t withstand such a high degree of energy.

The voice of the Tower Spirit sounded.

”Unnamed Witchcraft. Power level exceeds 8 degrees. Casting time: two seconds. Particle Energy Units consumed: 10. Alert: This Witchcraft’s Level has reached the High-tier category, and its power level is exceedingly high. The Caster is advised to use it with caution.”

With the Witchcraft Testing Ground in this state, the Memory Metal Puppet had long since melted into a puddle of liquid. This time, it would truly take an extremely long time to recover.

The time required for the minute metal particles to move and reassemble into their original form had increased drastically.

This High-tier Witchcraft brought not only immense power but also terrifying energy contamination and some lethal properties.

[Sun Flame Steaming Kill: A High-tier Witchcraft created by Wizard Wang Ya. It integrates the features of three Middle-tier Witchcrafts, combining the principles of Melt Base formed from impact, collision, and diffusion. It gathers a massive amount of Particle Energy to a single point and uses a special frequency amplification to enhance the activity of the internal Fire Element Particle Energy, causing it to continuously heat up until it is released at a critical point.]

[Alert: The power and range of this Witchcraft have no upper limit and are directly related to the amount of Particle Energy supplied by the Caster.]

[Evaluation: Absolute high temperature, absolute energy intensity, absolute destructive power, and an absolute wide-area-of-effect Witchcraft.]

In other words, if Wang Ya were to pour all his Particle Energy into it, the resulting power level would be even greater, and the area of effect would be even wider.

Wang Ya now truly possessed a trump card Witchcraft.

The two Witchcrafts, Burning Fire Fear Burn and Super High-Temperature Cluster Particle Wave, were developed previously.

They primarily focused on amplifying the frequency of Particle Energy to release a special high-temperature cluster beam.

The red floating machines from the Secret Realm competition had given Wang Ya the inspiration.

Burning Fire Fear Burn involved increasing the quantity of the original Fear-Burning Fire to create a powerful area-of-effect attack or to trap enemies.

It was also more effective against large-bodied enemies, giving it a specific purpose.

However, now that he had Sun Flame Steaming Kill, this modified Witchcraft was somewhat redundant, and Wang Ya rarely used it.

Super High-Temperature Cluster Particle Wave was also born from one of Wang Ya’s theories about Particle Energy Property Changes; his purchase of the Wuluo Essence was in preparation for it.

It was also one of his three Middle-tier Witchcrafts.

Teleportation Fluctuations enveloped Wang Ya, and in the next moment, he appeared in his study.

Dream Witchcraft was not suitable for testing in the Witchcraft Testing Ground, but he had indeed created his third Middle-tier Dream Witchcraft.

[Dream-Shattering Kill: From the perspective of the Dream Realm, one can condense a Dream Body of consciousness to enter the dreams of others, weakening them and inflicting damage on a spiritual level.]

[Grade: Middle-tier]

[Dream Power Cost: 3.1 units]

[Alert: When entering the Dream Realm of a target lifeform, this Witchcraft can only be attempted if one’s Dream Power is sufficiently strong and Extraordinary Spiritual Power is sufficiently vast to execute a kill within the dream. If the opponent’s Spiritual Power is stronger, there is a high probability of suffering a backlash.]

[Mission Information: The Peril of a Beast Tide]

[Level: B]

[Location: Divine Eagle Territory, Magic Shield Wizard City, Brazil Kingdom]

[Details: The Mortal Nobility of the Brazil Kingdom have sent a message to the Magic Shield Wizard City, reporting that a large number of Extraordinary Creatures are gathering in the forests within the kingdom. They have already begun attacking humans, their numbers are high and constantly increasing, and it is suspected that a Beast Tide may be forming.]

[Objective: Investigate and clarify the situation. Eliminate the Extraordinary Creatures to the greatest extent possible and prevent the formation of a Beast Tide. If a Beast Tide has already formed and cannot be stopped, a new mission report may be submitted.]

[Reward: 600 Magic Stones, 400 Dark Points, one opportunity to acquire Low-tier Extraordinary Knowledge (Land of Inheritance)]

A thoughtful look flickered in Wang Ya’s eyes. ’Once a Beast Tide erupts, the Brazil Kingdom will be utterly destroyed. Even some of the surrounding Mortal Kingdoms will be affected.’

’A Beast Tide grows as more creatures join in. As the number of participating Extraordinary Creatures spirals out of control, it’s not impossible for an even more terrifying disaster to unfold.’

’A C-Level mission... The rewards are another tier higher.’

’Unfortunately, the opportunity to acquire Low-tier Extraordinary Knowledge is of extremely limited use to me, so its relative value is much lower.’

’Fortunately, the amount of Dark Points and Magic Stones is quite generous.’

’If there was one thing I don’t fear, it’s matters related to Extraordinary Creatures. During the Secret Realm competition, I controlled tens of thousands of Extraordinary Creatures at once, creating a true Beast Tide.’

Harak flew in through the window and landed on the desk. It folded its wings and gently nuzzled its head against his fingers, looking very well-behaved.

”Little guy, maybe this time you’ll get to show what you can do. And you’ll get to eat your fill.”

The mission information was almost never wrong. Wang Ya felt that he had just been a bit unlucky with his previous missions.

The Witch mission, for instance, didn’t have any issues and even led to a great opportunity.

This time should be no exception.

His luck had returned to normal.

’Even if a real Beast Tide appears, it’ll be a piece of cake for Harak. There won’t be any major problems.’

’A Beast Tide means a wide variety of Extraordinary Creatures, which is perfect for Harak to increase the number of gene fragments in its Infinite Blood Core.’

Wang Ya didn’t tell anyone about this quota mission. He tucked Harak into the sleeve of his Wizard Robe and headed to the corresponding Wizard City via the Teleportation Tower.

He hadn’t told anyone about his last quota mission either, and everything had gone smoothly; he’d even encountered a significant opportunity.

Whether it was superstition or not didn’t matter; Wang Ya felt it was worth a try.

”Wang Ya Harak has finally left headquarters! The Number One Wizard is as well-connected as expected, leaking all of that guy’s information.”

Inside the Illuminati, aside from the absent figures of the top three Wizards, the remaining numbered Wizards were all rubbing their hands together, growing excited.

They had received the relevant information from the Number One Wizard in advance, so they knew the time and destination of Wang Ya Harak’s quota mission.

They even had people at the Teleportation Tower right now, monitoring Wang Ya Harak’s movements at all times.

Why were they so excited? Naturally, it was because their status was inferior to Wang Ya Harak’s. The apprentice of an Official Wizard, a Heritage Wizard, a core existence in the School’s Inheritance Lineage... The chance to suppress a Wizard from the Inheritance Lineage was, in itself, an incredibly gratifying affair.

”A Beast Tide is perfect. With so many Extraordinary Creatures, it wouldn’t be strange at all if he died in there. He’s just a Lower House Wizard, after all.”

After receiving the message from the Wizard at the Teleportation Tower, the group moved out swiftly.

The white light of energy from the Teleportation Tower enveloped them. As the Teleportation Fluctuations gradually covered the members of the Illuminati, each used their own methods to hide their identity, making it impossible to confirm their true information as Wizards.

They didn’t even teleport together.

Instead, they went separately, heading to the Wizard Cities near Magic Shield Wizard City in the Divine Eagle Territory.

About ten minutes after they left, a tall figure stepped into the teleportation space.

He wore a hood that covered his face, revealing only a pair of furrowed brows.

And his destination was, of course, also Magic Shield Wizard City.
