Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

An Wuping continued to wander around the spaceship, darting everywhere.

Although it seemed aimless, he was actually constantly moving closer to Hu Yi.

But just as An Wuping was passing by, Chen Ming suddenly saw Hu Yi being invited into a room.

Chen Ming immediately controlled An Wuping to slow down his pace and slightly change direction, maneuvering between the dock where other small ships were berthed at the Supreme Point and the room Hu Yi had entered.

Ensuring that Hu Yi couldn’t bypass him to leave the ship.

Ten minutes later.

Hu Yi walked out of the room he had entered.

An Wuping also immediately moved closer towards that direction.

Soon he saw Hu Yi, who was being surrounded by several people, heading in the opposite direction of the spaceship.

Exactly with his back to him.

And at the moment An Wuping saw Hu Yi.

He suddenly retreated a step, standing firm at the corner.

At the same time, he confirmed there was a surveillance camera nearby that could capture the current situation.

An Wuping seemed to have seen an enemy, instinctively entering an Insectification state, his size swelling to three meters.

The corridors of the Supreme Point were very wide, so this height could still move normally within the spaceship corridors.

But beside Hu Yi, there was only one Psychic, the others were ordinary people.

The power of the Insectification state, even if only targeting Hu Yi, could have aftershocks that might harm others upon attack.

Chen Ming was already aware of this beforehand, so he was just pretending, immediately exiting the Insectification state.

Instead, he utilized the chitin of the Insect Race to manufacture a short knife, gripping it in hand.

Chen Ming used the military knife skills he learned from Bai Quan, slashing the short knife silently as he followed.

Honestly, Chen Ming didn’t have confidence in harming Hu Yi without entering the Insectification state.

But due to environmental limitations, he couldn’t change anything; at least he had to try, probing the effects of Hu Yi’s spiritual energy, laying groundwork for the next attempt.

An Wuping lowered his presence, reducing his presence, constantly getting closer.

It was impossible for ordinary people to detect An Wuping.

And Hu Yi was bragging to the Association Psychic beside him about his journey and deeds, not caring about the rear at all.

The Psychic from the Association did not have strong abilities and could not perceive him.

As he got close enough for a sudden strike, Chen Ming was just about to make a move.

However, on Hu Yi’s side, it seemed he had just about finished boasting and suddenly asked the Association Psychic, ”Didn’t you say before about letting me participate in the Empire’s war against the Mechanical Race?”

Chen Ming was startled, suppressing the move, slowing down his approach.

The Association Psychic replied to Hu Yi, ”Yes, the Empire has already openly recruited Psychics from the Association and other Psychic organizations to prepare for the war.”

”They said after a certain period of training, they would form teams with Psychics at the core to execute special missions.”

Hu Yi pondered and said, ”But I remember the Empire always seemed reluctant to use Psychics before, what was the reason? Can’t stake the outcome of a war on one person.”

”I feel the same now, at most there are just some small-scale missions using us Psychics, not very interesting.”

”This time seems a bit different, and it’s just an invitation. If you are unwilling, it’s okay not to go.”

The two quickly ended the topic and continued walking forward.

Chen Ming silently noted down this intelligence.

He continued to tighten his grip on the short knife, approaching Hu Yi.

As An Wuping again came to an appropriate distance, he left a shoeprint on the floor of the Supreme Point with one step.

Suddenly erupting, bypassing the ordinary people beside him, stabbing the short knife towards Hu Yi’s side.

As the vibration of An Wuping’s step transmitted through the spaceship structure, Hu Yi had already reacted.

However, where he stood was, after all, within the Spiritual Ability Association’s spaceship, so Hu Yi himself was not very vigilant, just slowly turning around.

And when An Wuping’s short knife was stabbing towards him, it hit his side at the moment he turned his head.

Hu Yi’s expression shifted from alert to puzzled, and finally to sudden realization.

He waved his hand repeatedly, backing off saying, ”Wait, wait, I’m just like you, I’m also an insider.”

Chen Ming ignored him, the short knife continued forward.

But just as the short knife was about to pierce Hu Yi’s body, even though there was nothing in front of the blade, at the moment the blade approached.

Chen Ming felt as if his knife had stabbed into something, a subtle feeling of obstruction in his wrist.

Then the blade disappeared, a scorched odor emitted from Chen Ming’s hand.

This was the smell of the knife tip made of the Insect Race chitin being vaporized by high heat.

There was an invisible high-temperature region around Hu Yi, like a layer of Entropy Armor.

An Wuping immediately discarded the short knife that was only half remaining, crafting a new one.

This time, the short knife glowed with the luminescence of plasma, meant to penetrate the Entropy Armor that Hu Yi’s spiritual energy had created.

However, Hu Yi had already fully unleashed his spiritual energy while An Wuping was changing knives.

Although he couldn’t compete with An Wuping in physical constitution, the strength of his spiritual energy was beyond what An Wuping could catch up with in the short term.

A massive amount of entropy and a wall were constructed between An Wuping and him, thoroughly isolating the two.
