Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

However, the appearance of this Prometheus Level ship is slightly different from what Chen Ming knows, it seems to have undergone many modifications.

A large number of fuel storage tanks have been removed, and a multitude of weapons of varying models have been installed in these emptied gaps.

The most conspicuous feature on this Prometheus Level ship is still that massive cannon which occupies nearly one-third of the ship’s length.

If Chen Ming’s memory serves him right, the Prometheus’s primary weapon should be the Fire God Level Positron Cannon, which belongs to the category of energy weapons.

But this massive cannon is evidently not an energy weapon; it must have been added during the modification as a new giant cannon capable of firing actual ammunition.

Whatever it is.

Since this main ship originates from the Beinu Star Realm, it and the fleet it leads are certainly not aligned with the Empire, but belong to the Zuo Jing fleet.

Such a main ship, if merely operating within the Beinu Star Realm which Zuo Jing should fully control, wouldn’t pose any issues.

But given that it has come through the Star Gate to the Empire’s focal point, the Cai Mo Star Realm, the activation of the main ship has naturally been promptly spread by the ships hastily fleeing around the star system,

and Chen Ming also quickly received this bit of news again from the boss, which he learned right away.

The appearance of this main ship gives everyone still in Cai Mo, still in other star systems such as Lucy, a choice concerning actions against Zuo Jing.

Either leave or face the threat brought by the main ship.

At this moment, Chen Ming could see through the external monitoring of the Earth Core Melting Furnace Power Tower, which is controlled by spiritual energy, that some psychics who weren’t too deeply affected by the greed-inducing spiritual energy fluctuations had already retreated.

They left the industrial area, boarded shuttle boats, preparing to flee.

Yet, there are still some who have chosen to continue heading his way, whether because they haven’t received the news or the greed within their hearts has triumphed over their rationality.

These people cannot exert pressure on Chen Ming, but the impending arrival of the main ship indeed evokes a sense of urgency in him.

Once the main ship emerges from the Star Gate, it can immediately initiate a warp.

And its first warp target will undoubtedly be here, above the orbit of Yunluo Star in the Lucy Star System.

Moreover, the main ship, even if it’s supposed to be a logistics vessel, at least for now possesses the capability to destroy stars.

Although it might not be able to directly blow up the planet, it’s definitely possible to scour the entire surface of the planet.

If this Prometheus arrives, those underground might not have any issues.

However, An Wuping on the surface will definitely be in trouble.

No more delays.

Chen Ming understands that he must hasten to resolve Thousand Faces.

But there’s another pressing matter in his mind.

Now that Zuo Jing has deployed their main ship, what about the Fifth Legion? The Empire? Where are their main ships?

He can only ponder this himself, as he isn’t able to find anyone to ask about this question after the president got engrossed in unknown tasks.

But it’s not entirely bad news.

At least for now, it appears that Thousand Faces, standing in his way, seems unable to defeat him.

Since Thousand Faces is hiding now, Chen Ming doesn’t need to agonize over him.

His goal isn’t Thousand Faces. It’s the Host underground.

He is the attacker.

Chen Ming was worried that attempting to push through Thousand Faces’ attack to enter underground might result in simultaneous attacks from two psychics.

But since Thousand Faces has employed spiritual energy in such a manner, except for being overly resilient and slightly more varied spiritual abilities, there seems to be no evident ability to decisively defeat him.

Then Chen Ming has nothing to worry about, directly heading down to find that Host.

Forcing Thousand Faces to confront him head-on, not giving him a chance to delay.

Chen Ming adjusted his stance in mid-air.

His fists were both infused with a glow of plasma, charging straight towards the many-collapsed layers of the Power Supply Tower’s underground.

The ground crumbled, the building collapsed, and Chen Ming instantly connected through dozens of levels downward.

The fluctuation of spiritual energy from the Host has begun to grow more evident.

And Thousand Faces’ spiritual energy fluctuation that just disappeared also reappeared in his perception.

Thousand Faces is indeed panicking.
