Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Song Ce:? (Thanks to this user for his certification as a great reviewer, thank you boss!)While handling the bear paw, Lin Feng wandered around in the chat room for a while.

”Hmm? Is this chat room so deserted?”

Looking at the chat room where almost no one was speaking, Lin Feng thought he had encountered a bug, then he remembered that others refreshed their Floor every twelve hours, and by now, they should all be exploring in their Floors.

The scene shifts to the Xuanhuan Floor.

Song Ce arrived at this Floor just after Lin Feng left, and besides Song Ce, there were also Qin An and Adrian.

The top five ranked individuals had all arrived at this Floor, and they also had a common mission: to find the saplings of the Spirit Gathering Fruit located in the Monster Beast Mountain Range.

Although there were many Spirit Gathering Fruit trees in the mountain range, the Elevator only provided three coordinates for the saplings.

The Elevator consciousness told them the effects of the four Spirit Gathering Fruits.

After consuming a Spirit Gathering Fruit, one could not only slowly recover from injuries but also permanently increase their basic attributes.

Four people, but only three portions; although this Floor did not explicitly make the Seekers fight each other directly, such an uneven distribution of benefits would certainly lead to a struggle.

The four Seekers appeared in different locations, and they could also chat and inquire about the saplings’ coordinates using the watches provided by the Elevator. The Floor time was a total of fifteen days.

Qin An’s arrival location was a poor village fifty kilometers from the mountain range.

There were few people in the village, and Qin An did not stay long, heading straight for the mountain range.

Adrian and Li Feng, ranked fifth, arrived in a desolate forest, forty kilometers from the mountain range.

Lastly, there was Song Ce.

He was luckier, arriving in a small Town, and closest to the mountain range, only thirty kilometers away.

This small Town was also very rare in that it was surrounded by walls, as the Monster Beast Mountain Range was not far away, and building walls was necessary to defend against monster beasts.

As Song Ce walked down the street, he suddenly noticed that the surrounding pedestrians seemed to be staring at him.

At first, Song Ce thought these people were attracted by the mechanical limbs he had acquired, and he felt a bit disdainful of these mortals, until he found a portrait pasted on the Town’s notice board.

”This person, why does he look so much like me?!”

Before Song Ce could take out a mirror to confirm, a series of horse hooves sounded from behind him.

”It’s him, report to the Cloud Mountain Sect Elders.”

Several Soldier immediately drew their sabers and placed them on Song Ce’s neck.

Song Ce: ?

As a new generation Cyberman, how could Song Ce just surrender?

He hadn’t even figured out what was going on yet, but it seemed he had run into a wanted criminal!

Feeling the chill on his neck, Song Ce exerted force with his legs, directly leaping seven or eight meters into the air, drawing his laser pistol, and using his bionic eye’s assisted aim to headshot several Soldier one by one.

”What trash, daring to put a knife to me.”

After dealing with the Soldier, Song Ce glanced at the civilians watching the show nearby; these civilians were so scared by Song Ce’s gaze that they scattered and fled.

At the same time, the government also received the news.

The one in charge of this border Town was a chiliarch.

He commanded over a thousand elite Soldier and over two thousand miscellaneous Soldier.

”Immediately blockade the city gates, order Wu Long to lead troops to capture the wanted criminal. This time, we must extort some benefits from the Cloud Mountain Sect. The wanted criminal is so strong, yet the Cloud Mountain Sect didn’t inform us.”

The chiliarch was very angry, but he was only putting on a show for his subordinates. He didn’t care at all about the deaths of those Soldier; however, he could use this opportunity to extort the Cloud Mountain Sect.

Soon, the city gates were one by one blockaded.

The civilians all returned home, closing their doors tightly, and soon, thumping footsteps were heard.

Song Ce also knew that he couldn’t explain himself, so he simply made a run for it.

Because his limbs and many organs had been mechanically modified, his attributes were already far beyond what humans could compare to.

Soon, Song Ce escaped the army’s encirclement from the rooftops of the residential area, but now the city gates were blockaded. Unless he fought his way out, he would not be able to leave this Town no matter what. The city walls were built over ten meters high to defend against monster beasts.

With Song Ce’s ability, he couldn’t jump out.

Or....

After a moment of thought, Song Ce leaped directly from the rooftop, then quickly grabbed the window sill, pushed open the window, and burst into a civilian house.

”Don’t scream, or I’ll kill you!”

Song Ce said with a fierce expression to the mother and daughter in the room.

”O-okay... okay...”

The woman in front of him covered her child’s mouth with one hand and tightly hugged her child with the other.

After closing the window again, what Song Ce had to do now was to quietly wait for the blockade to be lifted.

Once the city gates opened, he would have a way to get out.

................

On the other side, Qin An and the others had already arrived at the Monster Beast Mountain Range and successfully converged.

”Just the three of us?”

Qin An looked at his watch and found that Song Ce, ranked second, was still in place and hadn’t moved.

”Presumably so. Since the Seeker ranked second isn’t coming, let’s divide the Spirit Gathering Fruit saplings first. One per person. The Elevator sent us all to this Floor together, probably wanting to see us fight among ourselves. So, how about we live in peace?”

Adrian was the first to propose peaceful coexistence.

Qin An thought about it and agreed. Just as he said, there were three Spirit Gathering Fruit saplings in total, one per person, so there was no need to fight over them anymore.

Seeing that both of them were preparing for peaceful coexistence, Li Feng, regardless of any other thoughts he might have had, could only agree for now.

Subsequently, the group followed the coordinates on their watches and began searching for the saplings.

Within the Cloud Mountain Sect, several Elders had already received messages via spirit pigeons (similar to telephones). The entire Sect almost mobilized completely, after all, the ancient texts in the Hidden Scripture Pavilion were accumulated over hundreds of years by their Sect, how could they just be taken away by outsiders?

The next day.

The Town, which had been under martial law for a day, became chaotic again. Soldier began searching house by house, and the Elders of the Cloud Mountain Sect also arrived here.

Song Ce, seeing that he couldn’t avoid it this time, was also ready to go all out. Under the panicked gaze of the mother and daughter, Song Ce directly jumped out the window.

Killing two ordinary people was of no use to him.

”Stop!”

A team of Soldier just happened to be patrolling there and saw Song Ce jump out. They immediately drew their swords and chased after him.

After landing, Song Ce drew his laser pistol and sent these Soldier away with a few bursts, then immediately ran towards the city gate.

Just then, two Golden Core Stage Elders instantly appeared in front of him.

”Little thief, why don’t you surrender quickly! Return the Sect’s ancient texts, and I can spare your life!”
