Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Kuze eats kidney”Oh, and leave all the kidneys for me.”

”What are kidneys?”

Kuze looked at Lin Feng with a curious expression once again.

”They’re kidneys. They’re very nourishing, and you don’t need to soak them in wine. You can just grill them and eat them directly. I’ve never eaten such large kidneys before.”

Lin Feng chuckled, already looking forward to it.

However, in Kuze’s eyes, this was another dark dish, as they never ate internal organs and didn’t know these things were edible.

”These things can be eaten too... Alright, all of you process them according to Brother Lin’s method, then bring over the processed meat and kidneys. Brother Lin and I will grill meat right here in this courtyard.”

”Yes, Young Master Kuze.”

Dozens of chefs respectfully replied.

They then carried the corpse away.

Soon, dusk appeared.

The elemental lamps illuminating the courtyard lit up.

During this time, Lin Feng wasn’t idle; he learned two more advanced spells from Tina.

These were the Shrinking Spell and the Transformation Spell.

The Shrinking Spell could shrink an item to one-tenth of its original size, though its weight remained unchanged, and it could last for one hour.

The Transformation Spell could transform a creature weaker than oneself into a random livestock, lasting for ten minutes.

The distinction between weaker and stronger here was based on a comparison of mental strength.

The party with stronger mental strength could transform the weaker party into any livestock.

Although it only lasted for ten minutes, the target was completely powerless during this period.

However, because it could only be used on creatures weaker than oneself, it was quite useless, but it was very effective for insulting people.

At this moment, the sun had almost set, and the charcoal fire was ready.

Finally, they could start grilling.

Plates of neatly sliced meat and chops were brought up.

In addition, at Lin Feng’s request, the kidneys, liver, tripe, and heart were also kept.

”Brother Lin, can these things really be eaten?”

Kuze looked incredulous.

”Heh heh, don’t worry, you’ll be fighting over them later.”

Lin Feng chuckled. As for the kidneys, they could be grilled directly. The rest could be sliced for hotpot. He had never eaten tiger meat or bear meat hotpot before.

Immediately after, Lin Feng took out a packet of Chongqing hotpot base from his System Space and put it into the pot under Kuze’s curious gaze.

”Let’s grill the meat first.”

”What is this?”

”Hotpot, for cooking meat and vegetables.”

Kuze nodded. So it was a seasoning for stewing vegetables. Brother Lin really was something; he always came up with new words he didn’t know.

Then, the two began to divide the grilling tasks.

Soon, four enormous kidneys were grilled. Because these kidneys were truly quite large, Lin Feng divided them into 32 portions.

”Here, try it.”

After being marinated with various seasonings, and with Lin Feng sprinkling a lot of seasonings while grilling, the pungent smell was not very strong.

Kuze frowned, took a bite, and smacked his lips a few times.

”The taste... it’s not bad.”

”Of course, don’t you see my skill? Hurry and eat, it won’t taste good if it gets cold and gamey.”

Lin Feng said with a smile, then took a bite of a piece.

Kuze also became more and more addicted as he ate, eventually wrapping grilled meat slices around the kidneys.

At this point, the hotpot was also ready. Lin Feng put the ingredients in, and the spicy aroma made both of them salivate constantly.

Before long, the processed tripe was ready to eat. Lin Feng directly picked up a large chopstick-full and placed it in Kuze’s bowl, then squeezed a bag of hotpot dipping sauce into it.

”Try it, the taste will absolutely astound you.”

”This... can it be eaten so quickly?”

”Don’t worry, it’s definitely cooked. This thing is about ’seven up, eight down,’ if it’s in too long, it gets tough.”

Lin Feng picked up a chopstick-full of tripe, coated it in dipping sauce, and put it into his mouth.

The moment it entered his mouth, there was a crisp and refreshing texture, followed by the spicy and sesame paste flavors filling his mouth.

After taking a bite, Kuze’s eyes instantly widened.

”Holy crap! Delicious!”

Before long, both of them finished the hotpot ingredients, sweating profusely.

Lin Feng ate over ten pounds of grilled meat.

Kuze was initially shocked by Lin Feng’s appetite, but now he had grown accustomed to it.

Before leaving, Kuze took out an advanced magic book that Lin Feng needed from his study.

The spells in it were only for Magisters, but if Lin Feng needed it, Kuze wouldn’t refuse.

(Magician’s ranking: Beginner, Apprentice, Magic Apprentice, Magician, Great Magician, Magisters, Great Magisters, Saint Magisters)

After Lin Feng left, Kuze returned to his room.

As soon as he sat down, he suddenly felt an itch in his nose, and a warm flow came out.

Kuze quickly touched it with his hand.

He realized he was bleeding from his nose, but he didn’t care, casually grabbing a tissue to plug it.

Then his hand unconsciously reached for the drawer...

At this time, Lin Feng also returned to the Elevator, but he didn’t have much of an excessive reaction. After all, he hadn’t eaten much; Kuze had basically eaten everything else.

After opening the magic book, Lin Feng entered the Virtual Training Field to study.

.........

After a night, Lin Feng exited the Virtual Training Field.

Although he hadn’t slept all night, he was still full of energy.

At 12 PM, he refreshed the floor, but the System indicated it was just an ordinary island floor, so Lin Feng didn’t enter.

On the other side, Kuze, who had only fallen asleep in the latter half of the night, slowly woke up.

The maid outside the door, seeing that her usually early-rising young master hadn’t woken up yet, almost pushed the door open.

Fortunately, Kuze walked out, rubbing his eyes.

”Young Master Kuze, did you, did you not sleep well last night?”

The maid asked with some concern, looking at Kuze’s two large dark circles under his eyes.

”Huh? Oh, no, I’m fine.”

Kuze waved his hand.

Damn it, Brother Lin, you didn’t say the effect was so strong! You really got your brother into trouble.

Although he was a bit tired, Kuze was even more excited about the upcoming tiger whip wine and bear whip wine.

...............

In the Elevator.

After breakfast, Lin Feng checked Qin An’s message to him.

Qin An had already returned the straw hat to Lin Feng, and then there were some questions about magic and thanks for the battle armor Lin Feng had given him.

After taking some time to reply to Qin An, Lin Feng opened the Elevator door to enter the floor.

Then he picked up his random fishing rod, preparing to go fishing in the sea to see if he could catch some new things.

Upon hearing that the opposite side was the ocean, Huang Dou, who had never seen the sea, eagerly followed Lin Feng. As for Xiao Long, since Huang Dou was gone and no one was there to play with him, he also wagged his tail and followed behind.

”This is it!”

Lin Feng stood on a reef, looked at the magnificent ocean in the distance, and nodded with satisfaction.

Then he cast his fishing hook out.
