Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Xiaolong, who is very competitiveUnder Lin Feng’s control, his liquid body gradually formed a cone shape, then slammed against the glass.

The ten-layer explosion-proof glass immediately developed spiderweb-like cracks, and with a light touch, it shattered into pieces.

A research team member, closest to the containment box, turned their head curiously after hearing the sound.

He was instantly startled.

”Alien creature! There’s an alien creature here!!!”

Upon hearing his shouts, two armed Soldier on the plane quickly ran over and aimed their guns at the slowly flowing liquid, ready to fire at any moment.

The rest of the research team also took out cameras to photograph or began recording on their notebooks.

Looking at the two Soldier aiming their guns at him, Lin Feng instantly transformed into his human form, then, like a bolt of lightning, punched through both Soldier.

Before long, continuous screams came from the plane, and finally, Lin Feng, under the pilot’s constant pleas, kicked him off the plane and took control of the helicopter himself.

He possessed master-level driving skills, so piloting a helicopter was quite simple for him.

Just then, the helicopter’s radio crackled with a voice asking for their position.

Hearing the voice, Lin Feng picked up the walkie-talkie and replied, ”Arriving soon.”

However, he flew the plane directly towards a nearby artificial forest.

Since it was a forest, the helicopter couldn’t land, so Lin Feng jumped directly from an altitude of over twenty meters.

With his current physique, even jumping from a hundred-meter height would only result in a superficial injury; if he was lucky enough to trigger Pan Zhen Good Defense, he wouldn’t even feel it.

The uncontrolled helicopter wobbled erratically in the air for a few moments before crashing into the forest.

Lin Feng didn’t care about it; he looked at the countdown in the sky, with only four hours left, and decided to wait out the remaining time in this forest.

At the same time, the footage of the helicopter deviating from its course and crashing was transmitted to the command center; one minute later, the entire forest was sealed off.

A large number of troops surrounded the area and began searching for the plane’s wreckage.

...

After waiting for four hours in the forest, Lin Feng finally heard the Elevator’s broadcast.

”Ding dong! Congratulations, Seeker Lin Feng, for completing the floor! You may now return to the Elevator.”

”Heh heh, aren’t you very unconvinced?”

Listening to the mechanical voice of the Elevator’s broadcast, Lin Feng said with a mocking expression.

He could tell that this floor was likely set up by the Elevator specifically for him, but the rewards were too lackluster; if it weren’t for the generous system rewards, he wouldn’t have even wanted to enter.

Before leaving, Lin Feng pondered for a moment, picked up a stone from the ground, directly chiseled a hole in it with his finger, and buried it in the soil; then, he drew an inverted triangle symbol on a nearby tree.

After doing all this, Lin Feng memorized the terrain here, then turned and left for the Elevator.

Lin Feng’s reason for doing these things was not some malicious prank, but to test something.

When he entered this floor, he learned the time of this floor from a display screen outside a convenience store, and it was the same as Blue Star’s time.

The next time Lin Feng returned to Blue Star, he would go to this location in the island nation to check if the things he left behind were still there; if so, it would mean the Elevator was changing Blue Star.

Of course, he could also check the news, but Lin Feng wasn’t sure if news about monster sightings would be censored.

So, this was the only way.

However, Lin Feng was now also somewhat uncertain whether the Blue Star he returned to was truly the original Blue Star.

Ever since the owl appeared, Lin Feng’s doubts had grown.

These uncertainties would likely need to be resolved through his future explorations.

Sitting on the bed, Lin Feng turned on the TV, which coincidentally was playing a Godzilla movie.

Xiao Long, watching Godzilla unleash his atomic breath, suddenly stood up.

”Roar! Roar! Roar! Roar!!!”

”Ah, ah, I know, I know, you can do it too.”

Lin Feng chuckled as he patted Xiao Long’s head.

Speaking of which, if Xiao Long were larger and had more energy stored in his body, could he really be used as a Godzilla?

It’s just that Xiao Long’s current size is too small; he’s stronger now and can sustain fire-breathing for two to three minutes at his maximum capacity, whereas before he could only last for about ten seconds.

If Xiao Long could be as big as Godzilla, then his breath attack should be pretty awesome too, right?

After watching for a while, Xiao Long also realized that it seemed the other’s breath attack was much more powerful than his own.

Slightly unconvinced, Xiao Long immediately went to the kitchen and asked 101 for a pile of beef, devoured it, then ran to the permanent floor, looking left and right, and finally came to the lakeside.

It was relatively safe here, and Huang Dou, who was playing by the lake, also curiously came over, unsure what Xiao Long was going to do.

Roar!

...

Listening to the dragon’s roar outside, Lin Feng also shook his head helplessly.

This dragon has a strong competitive spirit.

Beep beep.

Just then, the Elevator screen suddenly chimed twice.

Lin Feng looked at it suspiciously, and when he walked over, he realized it seemed to be a notification because Qin An had sent him a message.

Strange, when did this feature appear?

Before, there were no notifications; whether you could see messages sent to you by others was entirely up to luck.

Qin An: ”Lin Feng, do you have anything to keep warm? Lend it to me. This floor outside is freezing, damn it, probably minus seventy or eighty degrees. I went out once and came back frozen. I’ve never been to such a cold floor!”

Lin Feng: ”Uh... wait a moment.”

Lin Feng rummaged through his spatial ring, looking at the Officer’s Armor and then at the straw hat he had recently opened from an obsidian treasure chest.

He remembered that this item could make the body feel the coolness of autumn, so could it work regardless of whether the temperature was high or low?

Hmm... let Qin An try it. As for the Officer’s Armor, he actually planned to give it to Qin An, but not now. Let Qin An try this straw hat first to see if it can both keep him warm and cool him down.

Lin Feng chuckled, then directly sent the straw hat over.

Lin Feng: ”Just wear this hat, and I guarantee you won’t feel cold at all.”

Qin An: ”Holy crap, really?! That amazing?! I’m going to try it right now.”

Soon after, Qin An replied to Lin Feng, and just as Lin Feng had guessed, this item also seemed to be a very BUG-like thing; he had underestimated it a bit back then.

Lin Feng: ”As long as it works, I’ll give you another good thing. Remember to accept it!”

Lin Feng directly sent the Officer’s Armor over, but no one received it; that guy Qin An seemed to have run off to explore the floor after replying to the message.

...

At this moment, Qin An frowned as he looked at the ice mountains outside, muttering, ”This crappy Elevator, suddenly releasing some damn mission. How could there be an expedition team in this godforsaken place? If the reward wasn’t good enough, I wouldn’t come here to suffer. Thanks to Lin Feng’s straw hat.”
