Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

MagisterBefore Lin Feng knew it, he had actually fallen asleep under Miss Lina’s comfortable massage.

He was woken up by Miss Lina, and Kuze had already returned.

”Brother Lin, how is it? Is there anything you don’t understand about the basics?”

Kuze said eagerly; he was ready to answer all of Lin Feng’s questions.

”It’s alright, I’ve mastered all seven basic spells.”

Lin Feng stretched lazily and replied nonchalantly.

”Haha, it’s perfectly normal to have many things you don’t understand at first... Wait! You said you’ve mastered all seven basic spells?!”

Kuze’s eyes widened like copper bells, then he looked at the maid standing behind Lin Feng.

”Yes, Young Master Kuze, Young Master Lin performed all seven basic spells once.”

”Holy crap!”

Kuze was so shocked by Lin Feng that he blurted out a curse, and realizing he had accidentally spoken rudely, he quickly coughed to cover it up.

”No, Brother Lin Feng, can you cast seven basic spells consecutively? Are you really a beginner??”

”Really! What good would it do me to lie to you?”

Lin Feng smiled, very serious.

”Ah!!! Genius! Genius!!”

”Brother Lin, you are definitely a genius! Wait! Your magic affinity test result was low-mid, right?”

”That’s right...”

Lin Feng scratched his head, looking at the suddenly excited Kuze.

”They must have tested it wrong. To be able to comprehend seven types of magic in such a short time, the affinity must be top-tier, or even higher! Hahahahaha!”

Kuze laughed happier and happier, more and more delighted.

Finally, it was only at Miss Lina’s prompting that he stopped his increasingly deranged laughter.

”Ahem, Brother Lin, first, I am happy for your amazing talent. Secondly, can you be my attendant? No, attendant somewhat demeans you, let’s just become sworn brothers directly!”

Kuze said nervously, walking and unable to stop himself from laughing.

The reason he was so happy was that if he could have a very strong or highly talented attendant, he would gain more chances of winning when he contended for the family head position.

Of course, becoming sworn brothers was the same.

And Lin Feng felt that becoming sworn brothers with a young master from a powerful family in this world was not a bad thing, so he agreed.

Soon, the two completed the ceremony, and their relationship became closer.

.....

”Brother Lin, don’t leave today. I received news that your magic teacher will arrive early tomorrow morning.”

”This, alright, as long as there’s a place to sleep.”

”Hahaha, of course there’s a place for you to sleep! This courtyard is so big, you can sleep wherever you want!”

Kuze laughed heartily, then told Lin Feng to pick any room to stay overnight.

Seeing Lin Feng walk away, Kuze put away his smile and turned to Miss Lina, speaking seriously.

”Brother Lin’s matter, only you know about it. You are not allowed to spread it. If anyone in the family finds out, you know the consequences.”

Miss Lina was startled by Kuze’s aura and quickly nodded in agreement.

”Hmm, from now on, if Brother Lin comes to find me, you will serve him.”

”Yes, Young Master Kuze.”

...........

Kuze did this to protect Lin Feng’s safety.

If his rivals in the family knew he had a sworn brother with strong talent, they would definitely send assassins to kill Lin Feng.

”Sigh, Brother Lin, I’m sorry to you.”

Kuze muttered to himself with great guilt. He felt that his actions were using Lin Feng as a tool for his advancement, and even putting Lin Feng in invisible danger, but he also genuinely wanted to be sworn brothers with Lin Feng.

So Kuze was now very conflicted.

Of course, if Lin Feng knew, he probably wouldn’t care much.

After all, he was practically invincible now. Besides, were Magicians that amazing?

Could he withstand a few laser cannons?

............

In the evening, Lin Feng was pulled by Kuze to his room for dinner.

To host Lin Feng, Kuze directly had the kitchen prepare over twenty dishes.

What kind of concept was it for two people to have over twenty dishes, with each dish having a significant portion?

Even a big eater like Lin Feng was stuffed in the end.

Finally, Kuze got drunk again, but thankfully he could still crawl into bed by himself, saving Lin Feng the trouble.

The room Lin Feng chose was the empty room next to Kuze’s.

It was just a right turn out the door.

.........

The next morning, Lin Feng woke up early. At this time, Miss Lina had already been waiting at the door for a long time, but she hadn’t woken Lin Feng up.

”Young Master Lin Feng, would you like to have breakfast now?”

”Hmm, yes, I’ll go see if Kuze is awake.”

”Alright.”

Miss Lina nodded slightly, then turned to fetch breakfast.

Arriving at Kuze’s room, Lin Feng knocked on the door.

”Brother Kuze, are you awake?”

Kuze was already awake at this time, but he was reading a book of sages. After hearing Lin Feng’s voice, he quickly put the book into a drawer and locked it.

”Ah, ah! Awake! Coming out now.”

”It’s alright, no rush. Miss Lina just went to get breakfast.”

Lin Feng didn’t pay much attention to Kuze’s seemingly flustered voice.

He sat at the stone table and continued practicing spells.

Soon, Kuze walked out of the room very calmly.

Miss Lina and a line of servants also arrived with breakfast.

”By the way, Brother Kuze, when is the magic teacher arriving?”

”Uh, it should be soon.”

Kuze said, eating the bread in his mouth.

Just then, Miss Lina led a woman dressed in black over.

”Hey! She’s here, she’s here! This is the magic teacher I found for you, the famous Magisters Tina. She’s very powerful, just a bit cold in her speech from practicing Forbidden Spells, don’t mind her.”

The last sentence was whispered by Kuze to Lin Feng.

This magic teacher was his person, so Kuze was not worried that she would spread the news of Lin Feng’s strong talent within the family.

However, Kuze still had to remind her when no one was around, to avoid any mishaps.

”Young Master Kuze.”

The dark-clad older woman in front of him bowed respectfully to Kuze.

”Hmm, this is your student, Lin Feng, my sworn brother.”

”Young Master Lin Feng, hello, my name is Tina.”

Tina extended her hand to Lin Feng with a somewhat cold voice.

Lin Feng also extended his hand and gave a light shake, and the two were considered acquainted.

”Alright, you two get to know each other first. I’m going to talk to the expedition team about going to the Perimeter Land in a few days.”

After Kuze finished speaking, he left.

Next, this older woman Magisters didn’t waste any time. She immediately asked Lin Feng what magic he had currently mastered.

After learning that Lin Feng could proficiently use seven basic spells in less than half a day, a hint of surprise flashed in her eyes.
