Ruling Martial World by Infinite Insect Swarms

Chapter 176: Chapter 166: Leviathan Appears, the Battle of Sect Annihilation

”A hundred percent certainty?”

Listening from the sidelines, Qin Wenyuan, Qin Zhengyuan, and the others exchanged bewildered glances. Even Qin Tianfeng remained silent.

What kind of person was Qin Yu? Arrogant? Conceited? Not at all!

But what gave him the confidence to claim he could completely annihilate the Cyan Profound Sect? They were the strongest faction in Yunlong County, boasting three Primordial Mansion Realm experts, hundreds of Qi Sea Realm cultivators, and tens of thousands of disciples.

Suddenly, everyone recalled Qin Yu’s unfathomable intelligence network. He had investigated the movements and personnel of the Blood Demon Sect, and even the Bishui River Dragon King, with absolute clarity. Would he dare make a move against the Cyan Profound Sect without preparation? In the five days since he entered the Wilderness Mountain Range, every faction that attempted to pry into his fortuitous encounters and inheritances had been completely wiped out. How could he possibly be acting recklessly?

While they conversed, dozens of Thunder Rocs descended from the sky, landing throughout the Qin Residence to pick them up.

”No wonder Qin Yu told us to pack our things and be ready to leave at a moment’s notice. So this was his plan!” After a moment of silence, Qin Hu directly arranged for the Qin Clan Members to board the backs of the Thunder Rocs one by one. In truth, there wasn’t much to prepare. Aside from the clan members themselves, there were few belongings to bring. They were ”going home”; once they arrived, the Zong Family would naturally provide everything they needed.

Thus, moments later, the Qin Clan Members mounted the Thunder Rocs. Under the watchful eyes of everyone in Cyan Peak County, they soared into the sky, flying toward the Leviathan hidden within the clouds.

As they entered the mist, the oppressive aura emanating from the Leviathan grew increasingly palpable. This was no ordinary mist. Experts like Qin Tianfeng and Qin Wenyuan immediately sensed the formidable power contained within it; it felt akin to stepping into a powerful Array Domain.

Drawing closer, the Leviathan’s body—massive as a mountain range and imposing as city walls—came into view. The naturally engraved patterns on its carapace flowed slowly, almost as if they were alive. Most striking of all was its incomparably ferocious, massive head, covered in armor-like Dragon Scales, with two hundred-meter-long Dragon Horns piercing straight into the heavens. A row of hideous spikes jutted into the sky along its whale-like spine.

Just as they were searching for Qin Yu’s figure on the Leviathan’s head and back, the thick carapace on one side of its body actively peeled back, slowly opening like a colossal gateway. The Thunder Rocs flew in one after another, surprisingly entering the very body of this dragon-headed behemoth!

It wasn’t pitch-black as they had imagined. Within this fleshy, tubular cavity, a soft white light glowed, allowing them to clearly see the interior. It was a massive platform, large enough to accommodate the landing and takeoff of several Thunder Rocs. Flanking both sides were numerous ”slumbering” Insect Race units—Rapid Insects, Thorn Snakes, cockroaches, and more.

With a slight probe of his senses, Qin Tianfeng was horrified to discover that these were all Qi Sea Realm entities! There were a full hundred of them at the Qi Sea Realm. And this was only what he could see with his own eyes.

Amidst their shock, the numerous Qin Clan Members carefully stepped onto the behemoth’s body. The sensation beneath their feet wasn’t the squish of flesh and blood, but rather a hard carapace that felt as solid as flat ground. However, the surrounding fleshy chambers and the carapace underfoot seemed to be slowly writhing, reminding them that they were indeed inside a remarkably powerful lifeform.

”Everyone, welcome to the inside of the Mother of Ten Thousand Worms,” Qin Yu’s voice echoed from ahead. He had already made his way from the bow of the ship to stand before the crowd.

”Mother of Ten Thousand Worms” was the name he had given the Leviathan to help it better integrate into this world. Compared to an incomprehensible concept like ”Leviathan,” the name Mother of Ten Thousand Worms made it immediately obvious that it was a broodmother capable of spawning vast numbers of the Insect Race. It was something they could easily understand.

”Yu... What... what exactly is this entity?” Qin Tianfeng couldn’t help but ask, his voice carrying a hint of hoarseness he didn’t even notice.

Everyone else also fixed their gazes on Qin Yu. They could still accept conventional Insect Race units like Rapid Insects, cockroaches, and Thunder Rocs as War Beasts, but this Leviathan had clearly shattered their worldviews. After all, it was a Biological Battleship from another world, an entirely different universe.

”Ancestor, this is an ancient inheritance I obtained. It has now become my Lifebound Pet Beast. The Rapid Insects, cockroaches, and Thunder Rocs you see were all spawned by it. It’s similar to an Ant Queen among ants. Only, it can spawn a far greater variety of offspring. It can devour different lifeforms, absorb their bloodlines, and then breed them,” Qin Yu explained simply.

This was the explanation he intended to give the outside world regarding the origin of the Insect Swarm. The Insect Swarm could no longer be hidden! A colony of ants could stay concealed in the jungle, but a streak of tigers or a herd of elephants could not. Let alone a sprawling Insect Swarm!

Over these past few days, almost all eyes had been fixed on the Wilderness Mountain Range; exposure was inevitable. Since it was going to be exposed anyway, he might as well be open about it and announce the debut of the Insect Swarm on his own terms!

Despite their profound shock, Qin Tianfeng, Qin Wenyuan, and the others believed him. Only his mother, Ouyang Xue, harbored a trace of suspicion in her eyes. She had seen Qin Yu cultivate the Insect Nest, witnessed that mountain-of-flesh-like lifeform, and watched the Rapid Insects metamorphose from larvae one by one. However, she kept this memory tucked away in her heart and remained silent.

”Its power far surpasses the ordinary Primordial Mansion Realm. Right now, it carries over thirty thousand Insect Race elites within its body. Additionally, I’ve made other preparations—more than enough to wipe out the Cyan Profound Sect,” Qin Yu said.

Qin Tianfeng and the others gasped. No wonder Qin Yu was so confident!

”Ancestor, Father, Mother, Elders, please follow me.”
