Urban All-Round Master

36: Chapter 36 No One Can Fire Me 36: Chapter 36 No One Can Fire Me Looking at the flirtatious eyes before him, Lin Zifeng indeed felt an urge to flatten him, but luckily, his years abroad had honed his calm and composed demeanor.

“Haha, I apologize, Mr.

Fan.

I was careless and forgot about today’s matter.

I hope you can be generous and not make it difficult for us brothers.”

Lin Zifeng was bending over, laughing heartily, almost blurting out Fan Jian’s full name just then.

“Careless?

Such a simple thing and you could be careless about it?

Then, I’ll also go to the human resources department and be ‘careless’ for once.”

“The human resources department?”

“Yes, you are fired.

And all of your good-for-nothing friends are fired too.”

Fan Jian said it lightly, as though firing someone was just a matter of his saying so, simple and straightforward without any fuss.

“You can fire me, but this has nothing to do with them.”

“Haha!”

Seeing Lin Zifeng acting as if he had the moral high ground, Fan Jian instantly sneered twice, arrogantly and ominously saying, “I’m the one who calls the shots here.

You!

Including all of you!

With just a word from me, all of you must get lost.

If you dare to complain about me to the higher-ups, let me tell you this, you better behave wherever you are, learn how to be someone decent, and not offend others, because employees of your loser level are dispensable to the company, just like dealing with a ‘dog’!”

Fan Jian said disdainfully, rubbing Lin Zifeng’s sharply defined cheek with his right hand.

Especially when he mentioned the word ‘dog’, he deliberately stressed it heavily.

“Slap!”

Suddenly, Lin Zifeng, quick as lightning, slapped away the hand Fan Jian was using to touch him, with a face of sincere smile saying, “Then I’ll wait.”

“I’ll make you regret coming to the company.”

Seeing that Lin Zifeng had slapped his hand away, Fan Jian instantly flared up, pointed at Lin Zifeng’s head disdainfully, and then decisively left with a great swing of his hand.

As he left, he did not forget to give Zhao Long from the Duty Department a meaningful glance.

Instantly, Zhao Long understood what it meant.

“Kid, now that you’re no longer part of our company, shouldn’t we settle our accounts properly?

You offended Mr.

Fan, causing my girlfriend to be severely scolded in his office today.

Now, shouldn’t this account be settled on your head?”

With Fan Jian backing him, Zhao Long felt emboldened, and several burly men behind him seemed eager to try.

“Zhao!

If you dare touch my brothers, I’ll fight you with my life!”

At that moment, Jia Zhenjing still valued loyalty the most.

He was the first to rush forward and furiously scold Zhao Long.

“Jia Zhenjing, just you fucking stay out of this.

This is Mr.

Fan’s directive.

Do you also want to meddle?

Don’t you want to work at this company anymore?

I’m just teaching a lesson to someone Mr.

Fan fired.

He has nothing to do with the company anymore.

If you help him, it’s like going against Mr.

Fan!

It’s like going against the entire group!”

Zhao Long maliciously threatened everyone.

“Your damn ancestors’ ancestors, I don’t believe this bullshit.

Brothers, follow me and kill these bastards!”

Jia Zhenjing yelled fiercely.

But nobody behind him dared to step forward; the security personnel all stood there dumbfounded, with no intention of intervening.

Everyone was looking at each other, none willing to be the first to stick their neck out.

“You guys?”

Jia Zhenjing stared with disbelief.

Were these really his brothers?

“Heh, Jia, you see now!

No one is willing to help this kid, I’d advise you to behave yourself!

Picking up cigarette butts off the floor, asking for trouble!”

At this moment, almost none of the security department staff were willing to step forward and help Lin Zifeng, because everyone didn’t want to lose their job.

Those who come out to work as security guards are from families that aren’t well-off.

If their family conditions were good, who would be willing to work as a security guard?

It’s precisely because their family conditions are poor that they are even more afraid of losing their job.

“Damn it!

I don’t believe this.”

“Finish this bastard off for me!”

Seeing Jia Zhenjing’s stubborn attitude, Zhao Long had long wanted to teach him a lesson, and now was the perfect opportunity.

“Fuck your mother!

Anyone who dares touch Brother Jia, I’ll be the first to fight him to death!”

Just as Zhao Long’s men were about to step forward and severely beat up Jia Zhenjing, the security guards swarmed up and tightly surrounded Jia Zhenjing.

Teaching Lin Zifeng a lesson, the security staff had nothing to say, after all, he was new, and the guys actually weren’t familiar enough with him to stand up for him, it’s within reason.

But when it came to dealing with Jia Zhenjing, the guys wouldn’t agree.

After all, Jia Zhenjing was a true brother to them.

Over the many years, which of the security brothers wasn’t brought up by Jia Zhenjing?

Jia Zhenjing had been with the group for over a decade, and every new brother he took under his wing, he took extra care of, so they owed him a lot.

Just like when Lin Zifeng first came, Jia Zhenjing almost treated him like a brother.

How could they stand by and see him bullied by others when this was someone who treated others as brothers the first time he met them?

“Brother Jia, don’t get involved in this matter, it’s my own trouble, let me handle it.”

Lin Zifeng still had a bright smile on his face, as if he saw through everything.

“No way!

Bro, your trouble is my trouble, damn it all!

I might as well quit!”

This loyalty of Jia Zhenjing was truly undeniable.

“Brother Jia, I’ll be fine, no one at Tianyu Group can fire me.”

Lin Zifeng reassured.

“Oh!

No one at Tianyu Group dares to fire you?

Kid, you sure talk big, eh?”

Zhao Long slowly walked up to Lin Zifeng with a sneer, “I heard you have some connections with our group’s CEO?

Seems like she was the one who brought you into the company, right?

I wonder what’s your relationship with her, elder lady?

Do you lick her toes or…!”

“Slap!”

Zhao Long hadn’t finished speaking when Lin Zifeng, seemingly out of nowhere, stretched out his right hand and slapped Zhao Long hard across his pig kidney-like face.

Instantly, Zhao Long was stunned.

The onlookers, including Lin Zifeng, didn’t even see when the hand was raised; only felt a burning pain on his own face, and although the slap did not sound loud, it hurt Zhao Long so much that it almost brought tears to his eyes.

He was sent flying two meters away by Lin Zifeng’s slap.

Not only was Zhao Long dumbfounded, so were all the attendees, including Jia Zhenjing and the other security guards.

This…

this, he just hit him?

Everyone at the scene couldn’t believe Lin Zifeng had actually hit him.

Now Lin Zifeng was definitely in big trouble, after all, Fan Jian said he was fired, which meant he was no longer with the company.

Hitting someone within the company, wasn’t that asking for trouble?

If Zhao reported this to the police station, this poor and powerless little security guard might end up spending his life behind bars.

In Huaxia, intentional injury is not a major case, but once it was pursued, or if connections were worked in secret, someone like Lin Zifeng, a small security guard, could even end up in prison for life.
