Urban All-Round Master

27: Chapter 27: Don’t Call Me Huahua 27: Chapter 27: Don’t Call Me Huahua When Lin Zifeng returned to the villa, it was almost 11:30 PM, but the lights in Nangong Bing’s room were still on!

Could it be that this girl is afraid of the dark?

Lin Zifeng chuckled mischievously.

“Cousin, I really can’t be blamed for today’s incident.

I had no idea who that scoundrel was, anyway; I just saw him wearing your company’s security uniform, and he even …”

“Did what to you?” Nangong Bing lightly sipped her tea.

“He …” Hua Buqi’s yet-to-mature chest heaved with anger as she remembered how Lin Zifeng, that damned scoundrel, had stolen her first kiss.

Nangong Bing’s question embarrassed her so much she didn’t know how to answer, after all it was her first kiss!

If she told Nangong Bing that a security uncle snatched her first kiss, it would be too laughable.

Seeing Hua Buqi pouting with her lips puckered and unable to speak, Nangong Bing couldn’t help but giggle.

“Well, it’s a blessing in disguise that you’re unharmed.

Don’t think too much about it; try to get some rest early tonight.

Ah, be good.”

Dealing with her just-of-age cousin was indeed a challenge for Nangong Bing.

Hua Buqi had always been quirky since childhood, loving to act cute and mischievous, like a child who never grew up.

Her return had not changed her childlike nature, leaving Nangong Bing at a loss for words.

“No way!

Cousin, you must help me find that scoundrel.

Otherwise, I’ll …!”

“Otherwise, you’ll do what?” Nangong Bing was both amused and annoyed.

Hua Buqi pouted, then soon fell silent, because she dared not mention that Lin Zifeng had kissed her.

“Alright, be good, go to sleep, and we will deal with it slowly tomorrow, okay?” Nangong Bing coaxed like the big sister next door.

“I won’t sleep!

Huahua is going to sleep with you tonight, cousin.

After such a big incident, I’ve been restless.

It looks like the signing event tomorrow will be a bust.”

The young girl had a sorrowful look on her delicate face.

Meanwhile, Lin Zifeng outside the door was laughing so hard it made his whole body twitch.

She’s all grown up and still ‘Huahua’!

Lin Zifeng, still unclear about who the unwanted guest inside was, lazily strode toward his room.

“Thump, Thump, Thump!” Lin Zifeng knocked three times on the door and then directly opened it to enter.

“Eh!”

“Hiss!”

In an instant, both Hua Buqi and Lin Zifeng gasped in surprise.

When Lin Zifeng saw Hua Buqi, his face showed instant surprise, but his years of experience allowed this fleeting emotion to vanish in moments.

Hua Buqi was completely shocked, thinking Lin Zifeng had intentionally come looking for her.

“What are you doing here still?

Why did you come back?”

Nangong Bing’s face changed rapidly, staring coldly at Lin Zifeng.

And Hua Buqi, overwhelmed by anger, couldn’t even speak, merely pointing at Lin Zifeng, her pretty face flushed a deep red, as if she had seen a ghost.

“Could I not come back?” Lin Zifeng replied calmly, not feeling awkward at all even with Hua Buqi there.

“You scoundrel!

How did you know I was at my cousin’s house?”

Hua Buqi glared, hands on her hips in a stance ready to fight.

Luckily, Nangong Bing, staying calm, quickly grabbed her, preventing any rash actions.

“Me?

What does it have to do with you?

I don’t owe you anything.”

“You!”

“Dare you say that again?” Hua Buqi’s fists clenched tighter, her lovely face turning shades of red and pale.

She had been fiercely robbed of her first kiss by Lin Zifeng in broad daylight today, and she was still holding a grudge about it.

But she couldn’t vent her anger because she dared not let everyone know that Lin Zifeng had kissed her.

“Ha, listen, little sister, the way you talk…

If you could come, why couldn’t I, especially since she is my old…!”

“Shut your mouth!”

Nangong Bing fiercely glared at Lin Zifeng, immediately interrupting what he was about to say next.

“Haha!

This is my cousin’s house, of course I can come here, and who are you to stop me?

What gives you the right to be here?

And you, dressed in a security uniform, you seem to be just a petty guard!

A guard daring to enter the homeowner’s room, do you know what crime you’d be committing?”

With a face full of indignation, Hua Buqi laughed loudly, her voice extremely girlish as she crossed her arms over her chest.

If Nangong Bing hadn’t been there, she probably would have pounced on him in an instant.

After all, she had learned a bit of Taekwondo.

“Not guilty at all!”

Lin Zifeng sat down on the sofa in the hall with a casual air, picked up a cup of top-notch Hennessy, and took a big gulp as if drinking water.

Watching him, Hua Buqi felt distressed.

This was a pure imported liquor she had brought back from abroad!

This guy was actually drinking it as if it were water!

She was so angry she was almost speechless, staring in disbelief—how could a security guard be so bold as to eat and drink at the homeowner’s place so freely!

What made it even more infuriating was his shameless demeanor!

He looked like an uncle and had even stolen her first kiss that day in a very sleazy way.

The more Hua Buqi thought about it, the angrier and more heated she got.

Meanwhile, Nangong Bing was coldly watching everything Lin Zifeng did, but she appeared helpless—what kind of justice was this!

A scoundrel had come to her own house, and as the homeowner’s cousin, shouldn’t she throw him out?

Shouldn’t she call the police to arrest him?

“Cousin, can you tell me what exactly is the relationship between you and this utterly shameless guy?

Why don’t you kick him out?

Could it be that you have some other relationship with him?”

When Hua Buqi blurted out these words, she was almost speaking recklessly in her outrage, but to Nangong Bing’s ears, they sounded extremely harsh, fearing that Hua Buqi might guess something.

She also feared that Lin Zifeng, the scoundrel, couldn’t keep his mouth shut.

Stammering and with an unnatural expression, she said, “Who…

Who has any relationship with him?

I totally don’t know this jerk!”

“Hey, hey!

Boss, how can you speak like that?

After all, we do have a certain relationship.

Should I just come out with it and save you the discomfort?”

“Shut up!”

Nangong Bing’s face flushed, displaying a girlish demeanor, completely different from her usual self at the company.

Although Hua Buqi was angry, her sharp black eyes cleverly twisted around, her instincts suggesting that her cousin had some kind of relationship with this jerk.

Being somewhat famous in the entertainment industry, Hua Buqi’s curiosity was instantly piqued, completely forgetting how Lin Zifeng had taken advantage of her earlier that day.

Leaning in with a mysterious look, she asked Lin Zifeng, “So Uncle, since you can freely come in here, you definitely have some relationship with my cousin, but what exactly is it?”

“Am I that old, Huahua?” Lin Zifeng chuckled.

“You!

Don’t call me Huahua!

You’re not allowed to call me by that name!”

Lin Zifeng relentlessly taunted Hua Buqi, immediately scattering her curiosity.

Pouting her lips, she looked as if she could start fighting with Lin Zifeng at any moment.

You jerk!

I haven’t even settled the score from this afternoon, and you dare to call me by my nickname!

Bastard!

Just you wait, I’ll make sure you regret it!

Hmph!

The girlish Hua Buqi furrowed her brows, her face full of murderous intent.

“Hehe.

Actually, I am her…”

“Bodyguard!”

“What!

No way!

A bodyguard?”

“Yeah, the new bodyguard I just hired!” Nangong Bing said, narrowing her eyes and smiling.

“Him?

Cousin, really?

Can an uncle-level guy even be a bodyguard?” Hua Buqi found it hard to believe and question her cousin’s taste.

It seemed rather low-end.

Lin Zifeng was momentarily speechless, mouth agape, really wanting to say ‘I’m her husband’—but who knew Nangong Bing would quickly retort, clearly not wanting others to know their old, dirty laundry.

Seeing the murderous look in Nangong Bing’s eyes darting towards him, as if saying ‘keep your mouth shut for goodness’ sake’, Lin Zifeng immediately lost his temper, after all, he was eating and living at her expense, he should be somewhat conscientious, right?
