“Mr.

Fan, please calm down, this is all my fault.

I’ll take care of it for you right away, just cool off,” the duty girl was nearly in tears from Fan Jian’s scolding.

She was already timid, especially working at a big company like Tianyu Group, where she had to be extra careful about everything, fearing she might offend someone.

“Damn it!”

Fan Jian cursed loudly and took a sip of his latte.

His eyes darted around as he thought to himself, I clearly asked that little security guard to punch in for me this morning.

Did he not do it?

Damn it!

That little worthless guard, he shouldn’t have had the guts to do this, right?

Could it really be that he played some dirty trick?

The more Fan Jian thought about it, the angrier he got.

He stood up and said, “Get the head of your Duty Department over here for me, now!”

“Y-yes, of course,” the girl’s face turned pale, not wanting to make a big fuss, she immediately ran off to her department.

Meanwhile, Lin Zifeng was completely oblivious, on the brink of losing his job and still lounging in the security office with Jia Zhenjing, watching Teacher Sora’s latest updates.

At that moment, Jia Zhenjing was absorbed in watching an adult film on his computer screen, his hands restlessly moving about.

His expression was particularly disgusting, his face a picture of enjoyment, eyes squinted with one hand thrust into his crotch, vigorously fiddling, while his trousers bulged and one hand held a small Caucasian bottle underneath to catch it all.

Jia Zhenjing closed his eyes, a look of pleasure on his face.

Lin Zifeng, on the other hand, looked on with disdain.

Honestly, Lin Zifeng had seen many repulsive people, but never one as disgusting as this guy.

Watching pornography and jerking off at the same time!

And what was really sickening, he was using a small Caucasian bottle to catch his emissions!

“Little Lin, take a look at this, do you know what it is?” Jia Zhenjing asked with a mischievous grin.

By now, Lin Zifeng really couldn’t stand him anymore, he damn well felt like punching him straight in the face.

“Wow!

Brother Jia, you’re so badass!

You actually shot so much at once?

If you had a chick, wouldn’t you just satisfy her to death?”

At that, the surrounding security guards all crowded around to watch.

“Ha ha, these are my future generations!

I have to save it up, you know, they’re all my children,” Jia Zhenjing exaggerated as he held the bottle in front of himself, then looked disgustingly content as he appreciated the white, sticky substance inside.

“To pay homage to Teacher Sora, we must offer her incense every day, praying she bestows upon us a busty and brainless wife!

Heh heh.”

“Right, right, only Brother Jia has such foresight.

I hear that if you worship Teacher Sora more, you’ll definitely find a busty and brainless bride,” they said.

A bunch of idly aching security guards followed Jia Zhenjing’s lead, placing a portrait of the alluring Teacher Sora on the wall, then bowed in worship together.

“Teacher Sora, oh Teacher Sora, I offer up incense to you again, hoping you will bless me with a busty and brainless beauty!

Just send her to torment me, let her torment me for three days and nights!”

“Come on!

Take a look at this pathetic sight!”

For these security guards, life was undoubtedly dull.

In today’s Zhonghai City, where money comes first, without money, property, or status, they were doomed to a life of loneliness on the bottom rung.

With nothing to do, their greatest solace was to hang out discussing lewd jokes, bragging, and talking about everything to do with women.

They aren’t like those rich second-generation and official second-generation brats who rely on daddy’s money, frolicking through life and hitting on girls with a never-ending repertoire of pretentious acts.

That’s why there are so many losers in society today.

“The new mutt from the Security Department, Lin Zifeng, get your ass out here!”

Just as everyone was happily worshiping Teacher Cang, a torrent of insults came from outside the Security Department.

Lin Zifeng’s brows slightly furrowed.

He took a deep drag of his cigarette, his demeanor utterly indifferent.

“Fucking hell!

Who’s the motherfucker out there yelling and cursing at my brother?”

The moment Jia Zhenjing heard someone outside cursing Lin Zifeng, he exploded in rage.

Leading his team from the Security Department, he rushed out.

Outside the Security Department stood seven or eight guys from the Duty Department, each looking like a ferocious ghost, and they were even carrying weapons!

“Oh!

Isn’t this Zhao Long from the Duty Department?

What brings you to our Security Department today?”

Jia Zhenjing swept away the disgusting expression he had in the office and squinted his eyes as he spoke in a deep voice.

Within Tianyu Group, from the top-level board of directors down to the security and duty staff, every department has its strict hierarchy.

The covert and overt battles never cease to repeat themselves.

After all, in a big forest, there are all kinds of birds; each layer has its own way of life and work attitude, and every industry is rife with competition.

Especially those of us who are the insignificant bottom layer.

“Cut the crap!

Has your Security Department recently hired a new guy?” the muscular leader from the Duty Department said angrily.

“Yes, we have.

So what?

Since when does the Duty Department have to meddle in who the Security Department hires?

You guys seem to think pretty highly of yourselves, huh?”

Jia Zhenjing was full of swagger, puffing on his cigarette and tilting his head with a hooligan’s attitude, just like some street punk.

“Jia, you better be smart about this.

We’re here for that new guy, the one called Lin Zifeng.

Hand him over quickly, or you ought to know the consequences,” Zhao Long threatened.

Standing aside, Lin Zifeng found it particularly amusing.

One was the Security Department, the other the Duty Department—what did they have to do with each other?

Moreover, life’s tough enough for everyone who’s out here trying to make a living, and yet they’re resorting to violence within the company?

It looked like he wasn’t without protection after all.

“Oh!

Zhao Long, are you threatening me?

Ha ha, guys, the Duty Department actually dares threaten me?

What do you think, are we a little scared?”

Jia Zhenjing laughed heartily and snickered at his Security Department colleagues.

Instantly, the Security Department staff united and chanted in unison, “I’m so scared!”

The relationship between the Security Department and Duty Department was never good to begin with.

Both departments were at the bottom of the company hierarchy and had no real status in the company besides the cleaning ladies.

Their position was the lowest.

Over the years, Jia Zhenjing had offended the Duty Department more than a few times, and now the confrontation between them sparked flames even higher.

“I don’t know what I’ve done to offend you guys so much that you had to make such a big fuss to come after me?”

At that moment, Lin Zifeng stepped forward, leisurely smoking a cigarette with a calm expression and a faint smile.

“You son of a bitch!

So, you’re Lin Zifeng!

If it weren’t for the trouble you caused today, my wife wouldn’t have been insulted by Boss Fan.

Come on, boys, break this asshole’s legs!

I’ll take any heat for it.”
