After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1332: Chapter 1336: The ”Jiao” in Caramel

”Honey! Will you take me away, please?!”

The girl saw that he wasn’t swayed, so she clung to him even tighter, her lips teasingly brushing his ear while her hand boldly slipped inside his shirt, reaching for his chest.

Any normal man at this time would have the most instinctive reaction to a beautiful girl throwing herself at him. Not many could refuse.

Unfortunately, Jiao Yang is not an ordinary man.

Having navigated the sea of flowers over the years, he has enough restraint when it comes to women. He caught her hand reaching inside his shirt, Jiao Yang deftly moved his head aside, his eyes scanning the shadows seeking someone in the distance. He raised his arm to encircle her waist, ”Let’s go, I’ll take you home!”

The girl revealed a triumphant smile at the corners of her lips, and she promptly rested her face on his shoulder, ”Honey, you’re the best!”

Embraced, the pair walked toward the exit. The chauffeur had already brought the car forward. Spotting Jiao Yang with a girl in his arms, the driver paused in surprise before hurrying over to open the car door for them.

”President Jiao!”

Jiao Yang got into the back seat, and the girl quickly followed him inside, attempting to nestle into his arms.

Raising his hand to block her advance, Jiao Yang issued a direct order.

”Drive!”

The driver immediately started the car and headed onto the airport expressway.

”Jiao?” The girl refrained from further entanglement, ”Is your Chinese surname Jiao, honey?”

”We’ve even had a child together, and you still don’t know?” Jiao Yang smiled and retorted.

”I love you for who you are, not your name. Besides, you’ve never told me your Chinese name!” The girl looked at his face with a smile, ”What’s your Chinese name?”

Jiao Yang turned his face and glanced out the window.

”Pull over!” The chauffeur obediently parked the car by the roadside. Jiao Yang gestured for the girl to get out, ”Next time, don’t kiss strangers lightly; the consequences might be dreadful!”

The girl realized he had seen through her, yet showed no hint of shame on her face, only returning his smile.

”Honey, it’s hard to get a taxi here. You might as well be a good person to the end and take me to the city,” reaching into her pocket, she retrieved a wallet and casually pulled out a wad of cash, offering it to him, ”Consider this the fare, alright?!”

Jiao Yang took a glance at the wallet in her hand, ”That seems to be my wallet!”

”Ha!” The girl chuckled softly, ”Tell me your name, and I’ll get out immediately!”

”Jiao Yang, Jiao as in caramel, Yang as in sun!” Jiao Yang announced his name.

”Jiao Yang, alright, I’ll remember!” The girl extended his wallet, slapped it into his hand, then leaned in to plant a kiss on his cheek, ”Thanks for today. I’ll remember this favor and repay you when I get the chance!”

Reclining back, she casually took a hundred-yuan note from his hand, ”Borrowing a hundred bucks for a cab, I’ll repay you when we meet again!”

She pushed open the car door, gracefully disembarked, and waved at him from the roadside.

Looking at the one note she had taken, Jiao Yang gently shook his head.

”Drive!”

The chauffeur drove the car back into the lane, heading towards the city.

...

Emperor View, the president’s office.

Leng Zimo sat at the desk, toying with a smiling clay figurine, fingers gently stroking the imprint at the base marked by Luo Xiaoqian’s fingers, his face heavy with thought.
