After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1311: Chapter 1315: Why Put Yourself Through This?

”Call Doctor Shen upstairs immediately.” The doctor said urgently, grabbing gauze to press against Seo Fei’s wound.

A nurse quickly turned and rushed out of the room, and moments later, footsteps echoed urgently. Shen Yizhou, who was on night duty upstairs, came rushing in with a nurse and the necessary tools, bursting into Seo Fei’s room.

Quickly cleaning the wound, Shen Yizhou took out the necessary suture needle.

”Hold her down!”

With a deep voice of command, Shen Yizhou raised his hand to pinch Seo Fei’s skin, starting to prepare for the stitching.

”No anesthetic?” The nurse asked, frowning.

Shen Yizhou glanced at Seo Fei’s face, grabbing a roll of gauze and placing it by her mouth. ”For the sake of your unborn child, I can’t use anesthetic. You’ll have to endure!”

Seo Fei turned her face away, unappreciative. Shen Yizhou gestured to the nearby nurse, who immediately held her face firmly.

Sucking in a breath, Shen Yizhou took up the suture needle to stitch her wound.

”Ah!”

The needle pierced through her skin, causing sharp pain. Seo Fei screamed out in agony. Taking advantage of the moment, the nurse immediately stuffed gauze between her teeth. In severe pain, Seo Fei could only bite down on the gauze, powerless to resist.

Her wound required six stitches in total.

By the time Shen Yizhou finished treating her wound, Seo Fei was drenched in cold sweat, completely exhausted.

Carefully laying her wrist aside, Shen Yizhou gently waved to the others, ”You all leave, I’ll try to talk some sense into her.”

The group glanced at Seo Fei, all stepping out of the room.

Raising a hand, helping to wipe the sweat from her forehead, Shen Yizhou frowned at her, ”Xiao Pei, why do you keep putting yourself through this?”

Seo Fei turned her face, looking at the wall, not speaking.

”Xu Pei!” Shen Yizhou stood up abruptly, ”If we truly wanted you dead, why do you think I saved you, why do you think Zirui brought you to the hospital? And yet here you are, full of resentment. Haven’t you thought about what you’ve done? Just because you love Zimo, you have to torment Zimo and Xiao Qian? Five years ago, Zimo and Xiao Qian let you go once, but you are still obsessed. Mo Mo is just a child, yet you heartlessly hurt him. Do you have any conscience at all?”

Seo Fei turned her face, looking at him expressionlessly. ”You’re right, I deserve to die. If that’s the case, why save me at all? Just let me die, wouldn’t that be simpler!”

”I’m just fulfilling a doctor’s duty!” Shen Yizhou looked at her angrily. ”Xu Pei, you’re too selfish. Aren’t you thinking about your child at all?”

”Child?!” Seo Fei glanced at her covered belly. ”What does it matter if he’s born? He’d be a child without a father or mother. He’d still face scorn, just like me!”

Shen Yizhou sighed. ”Ultimately, this is the result of your and Tang Ming’s actions. If you hadn’t done such heartless things, would he face these hardships?”

”Yizhou!” Seo Fei reached out, grasping his hand. ”Please plead my case with the Leng Family. As long as they let me go, I promise I will go far away and never return. I truly promise, I beg of you, I don’t want to spend my life in prison. What’s the difference between that and dying? Please, for the sake of the child, help me, Yizhou...”

”I’m afraid I can’t help you with this!” Shen Yizhou raised a hand to hold hers and pushed her hand away from his. ”You should sincerely confess and seek leniency from the court!”
