After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1326: Chapter 1330: Just Had a Nightmare

Ever since Luo Xiaoqian appeared beside him, Leng Zimo’s personality had been unknowingly changed by her, and the relationships between him and those around him seemed to be subtly shifting as well.

In the past, whether it was Xiao Ding or Ah Jiu, they basically complied with his words. But now, sometimes they’d dare to ”challenge” him, like the situation just now, and Leng Zimo wouldn’t respond with the absolute firmness and dominance he used to.

Turning and heading upstairs, Leng Zimo quietly pushed open the bedroom door.

On the double bed, Luo Xiaoqian was sleeping peacefully and serenely, with a slight smile on her lips.

Closing the door, Leng Zimo walked carefully towards her and sat down beside her, doing nothing but quietly watching her.

Five years ago, she used to sleep rather restlessly, always furrowing her brows, and he couldn’t help but stretch out his palm, wanting to smooth out her knitted brows.

He liked her smile; as long as he saw her smiling like this, he would feel at ease.

He had already quietly prepared everything needed for the wedding. In one more week, it would all be ready. He owed her this wedding for five years and it was time to properly compensate her.

In the faint glow, the little figure on the pillow looked so beautiful, he simply couldn’t get enough of her!

He had seen the photos of the wedding dress; she would definitely look stunning wearing it. He couldn’t wait to see her in the wedding dress.

The Luo Xiaoqian on the pillow suddenly moved, and her hand reached toward his position. Not feeling him, her fingers instinctively reached around to feel for him; seeing this, Leng Zimo quickly extended his arm.

Upon touching his fingers, Luo Xiaoqian immediately clasped his fingers together, pulling them into her embrace and holding them with her arms, then fell back into a deep sleep.

Her actions were completely subconscious, not at all aware.

”Alright, I’ll sleep with you!”

Not wanting to pull his arm away from her embrace, Leng Zimo smiled as he uncovered the thin blanket and lay down beside her, gently pulling the sleeping Luo Xiaoqian into his arms.

Before dawn, Leng Zimo was awakened by a sudden headache.

This time, it was far stronger than any previous day.

He abruptly opened his eyes and sat up, only to see complete darkness.

”Zimo, what’s wrong?”

Luo Xiaoqian, originally hugging his arm and snuggled by his side, was startled awake by his sudden movement. Seeing his expression, she sat up worriedly and asked.

”Nothing, just had a bad dream!”

Leng Zimo turned his head to look at her, raising his lips into a comforting smile.

However, before his lips even fully curled, they transformed into shock.

Before him was a sea of darkness; he saw nothing. There was nothing but chaos and blackness in front of him, and Luo Xiaoqian’s face did not appear.

He... was blind?!

”Zimo, are you okay?!” Seeing the strange expression on his face, Luo Xiaoqian climbed up and cupped his face, ”Zimo?!”

Slowly, the darkness before his eyes began to disperse, and Luo Xiaoqian’s face gradually appeared, transforming from blurry to clear.

”Zimo?!” Luo Xiaoqian called his name with concern, ”What’s wrong?”

His expression was clearly not quite right.

Leng Zimo carefully examined her face, raised a hand to cup it, and looked closely, feeling the softness and warmth of her cheeks, and his heart calmed slightly.
