After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1329: Chapter 1333: Benign or Malignant

Leng Zimo asked Ah Jiu to wait outside the door while he walked into the consultation room.

”Hasn’t your headache already improved?” Shen Yizhou asked, frowning.

”It didn’t act up for a long time after Xiao Qian returned, but it’s gotten worse in the last few days.” Leng Zimo pursed his lips, ”This morning, I experienced temporary blindness for a few seconds.”

Upon hearing this, Shen Yizhou’s expression grew even more serious. After asking Leng Zimo about some symptoms and details, he immediately issued a series of examination orders, including a CT and MRI.

No longer continuing his consultations, Shen Yizhou personally took Leng Zimo to the examination room for tests.

Soon, Leng Zimo lay down on the examination device, while Shen Yizhou went into the operation room personally to perform the procedure, observing the results simultaneously.

After the examination, Leng Zimo was assisted by Ah Jiu to walk into the inner room immediately, ”How is it?”

Shen Yizhou pursed his lips, ”There is a slight... issue... but it’s not very serious...”

Leng Zimo sensed his hesitation and felt a sinking feeling, yet his tone remained calm, ”Don’t give me that talk about discussing with the patient’s family—just tell me the results directly.”

”Alright!” Shen Yizhou raised his hand to point at the computer screen, ”Look here, the echo display differs significantly from other areas; this region should be controlling the optic nerves...”

Leng Zimo interrupted him, ”Is it a tumor?”

Shen Yizhou glanced at him, ”Yes, it’s a tumor.”

”Benign or malignant?” Leng Zimo asked gravely.

”It’s not certain now. But I remember you mentioned you did a CT scan together with Xiao Qian last time. If it didn’t show obvious abnormalities then, the progression now seems somewhat rapid. I wonder if the images from that time are still available; comparing them would help in treatment. Currently, the tumor size exceeds 30mm, and its margins are not very clear, so malignancy can’t be ruled out... Although, of course, the machine isn’t entirely accurate. Definitive results can only be confirmed after surgery.”

Leng Zimo glanced out the window at Ah Jiu, ”What’s the chance of it being malignant?”

Shen Yizhou took a deep breath, ”About seventy percent!”

”What’s the best treatment option?” Leng Zimo asked again.

”Of course, craniotomy, but... it also carries relatively high risks...” Shen Yizhou hesitated for a moment, ”Because its growth location is quite special, very close to your optic nerves...”

”What’s your suggestion?”

Naturally, Leng Zimo had complete trust in Shen Yizhou.

With a furrowed brow, Shen Yizhou uttered four words, ”Operate as soon as possible.”

Leng Zimo took a deep breath, ”Will I die?”

”If the tumor is benign and the surgery goes smoothly, there won’t be any impact. If it’s malignant, secondary and metastasis can’t be ruled out. Of course, there’s definitely risk involved in the surgery!” Shen Yizhou raised his palm and gently placed it on his shoulder, ”I will invite my mentor to come to Beijing personally to perform the surgery for you, to minimize operational risks.”

”Will I die?” Leng Zimo repeated his question once again.

”Zimo!” Shen Yizhou gripped tighter, ”You should clearly understand, I can’t answer that question at all. Actually, you don’t need to be too anxious. Each of us has a ’tumor’ in our brain, even a healthy person faces various dangers every day—car accidents, earthquakes... unexpected events of all kinds. My point, I think you comprehend.”
